"Doctor, what's going on?" said Amy, trying to keep her balance.
"Clearly the old girl's thinks we don't need to go to Hawaii!" said the Doctor.
"Oh thanks!" said Rory sardonically.
The Doctor lost balance and fell back into Rory, who kept him steady.
"Oh, hello." said the Doctor, embarrassed.
The Doctor grabbed controls but nothing was working. Then he spotted the distress signal.
"Ah, she got herself a distress signal!" said the Doctor.
"So that's why I'm being tossed around like a salad!" said Rory.
The screen switched on to the news.

"The meteor shower is seen from all over the world. Scientists are baffled as they try to discover what's falling to Earth and their purpose." said the BBC 1 news anchor.
"We have never seen meteorites in this form before. That isn't the only troubling thing, for these meteorites are being seen all over the world, even where it is not yet evening. This is obviously not a natural phenomenon." said the scientist.
"People are advised to report anything suspicious or any information they can get. From BBC 1..."
The blonde woman exchanged glances with the old man. Then she heard the door start to open.
"Where are you going?" asked the woman.
"Oi, to go get a drink with the girls. I told you earlier." said the red head.
"With this going on? You'll do no such thing." said the blonde, pointing to the telly.
"She's right sweetheart. Something isn't right, the scientist even said so." the old man pointed out.
"I'll be fine. If it is Armageddon, I'm going to drink to it." said the red head, rather annoyed.
"The apple doesn't fall far from the tree." said the old man.
"Dad!" said the blonde sternly.
The man threw up his arms in surrender.
"What did you see in your telescope?" inquired the blonde.
"Hard to tell, but they obviously aren't meteorites." answered the old man.
"That's real helpful. Could it be aliens again?"
"Maybe."
"Will they ever leave us alone?"
"Maybe someday. But I will not let anything happen to you, or your daughter."
"Thank you dad."
But they both knew dangerous things were coming. The thing about uncertainty is that it is easy to fear.
