10 years later
Flare was playing in garden when she felt a tingling sensation in her hands
"What's happening" Flare thought to herself when all of a sudden ice shot out of hands freezing a nearby bush
" Oh my god is this my power" Flare said to herself. To test it out she focused her power onto a lily and to her amazement and delight ice shot out of her hand and froze the flower. She then knew that ice was her power and excitedly ran back into the house
"Mommy, daddy look" She cried excitedly
"What's the matter sweetheart" Blaze asked her daughter
"I've found out my power" She squealed
"Really let's see it then" Sonic said. So Flare did exactly what she did with the flower and froze a pot that was standing on the windowsill. She then looked back at her parents smiling
"Oh my sonic, could it be" Blaze said to her husband in shock
"I think it is" Sonic replied his eyes widened in shock
"What I don't understand" Flare said confused
"Well" Sonic began "Nobody ever in history has been able to control ice before so that makes you"
"Yes?"
"The most powerful being in the universe"
"Oh my god oh my god oh my god" Flare screamed jumping up in the air in excitement before hugging her parents
"I gotta tell knux" Sonic said before sprinting to the phone and dialling knuckles number.
"Knuckles guess what!"
"what?"
"Flares got ice power's she the most powerful being in the world!"
"Oh man Sonic I'm so happy for you!"
Little did they know that eggman had tapped into the phone lines and was listening to what they were saying
"Is she now? Well I better pay her a visit mwhaaaaaa"
