The solid thud of his weight on the bench had only momentarily distracted her as she continued going back to work on the map. At first it was quiet, she could ignore his presence, but the soft sound of his breathing would pull her out of her focus every moment or so.
She began focusing, doing her best to ignore the presence of her Captain next to her.
That's when he made a soft noise reminiscent of a hum. Once more she lost concentration, but she refused to take her eyes off her work. With careful strokes she continued working on the map that was dead center of her work bench.
For a moment she was doing fine when she felt the soft sensation of a finger trail along the side of her exposed side. Goosebumps practically formed on the skin of the orange hair woman as her head snapped up and she sent a searing glare at the grinning blond menace sitting beside her.
"Will you cut that out!" She snapped at him, causing the blond to stop his grinning and begun to pout like a wounded puppy.
"But Na-chan, I just want to spend some time with my lovely…little...navigator." He savored each word as his finger began to make its way to the bottom of her bra only for her to reach out and grab his hand.
"I'm trying to work and you keep distracting me."
"You can keep working on these maps all the time. You never finished."
"Because the last three times you interrupted me before I could finish," she argued as the blond used his other hand to play with the strings that kept her top together.
"I don't recall you complaining at the time," he teased as a faint blush adorned her cheeks.
"Yeah well I'll never finish these maps if I don't get them done today. Every time we go to a new island that's one more map I have to add to the list of those I haven't finished."
"My navigator-chan is the best on all the seas. If there's anyone who can get them done it's her." He said as he leaned in for a kiss only for Nami to turn her head.
"Go pester Robin or someone else." She said as Naruto shuddered.
"No way, Robin-chan would eat me alive." He responded with a cheeky grin. "On the other hand that would be quite the way to go."
"Oh?" Nami felt herself growing annoyed. "Are you saying I'm not good enough for you? Are you saying I don't satisfy you?"
Seeing Nami's patented angry look cause the blond to let out a chuckle. He was abou to say something when he was suddenly tackled.
He let out a yelp as his navigator straddled him. Nami snapped. Something inside her exploded. She captured his lips in a powerful and hungry display that figuratively knocked the blond's socks off. Her movements on his crotch rendered him unable to move as their tongues darted against each other.
After separating their lips, Nami looked down at the blond who had a mischievous look in her eyes. "I'm going to make you pay for this. You know that right?" she asked as her face promised she was going to work out her annoyance and aggression on the blond.
"Oh yeah, most definitely." Their relationship might have been unconventional, but damn was it ever satisfying.
