Chapter 2 : Sadness and comfort.
Hinata Uzumaki has been through a lot with her kids, especially Himawari. Boruto has been a bit distant over the years because of her husband, but finally after praying night after night, Boruto understood the significance of her husband being Hokage. Himawari on the other hand, wasn't that bad. She spent so much time raising her and knowing her that Hinata knows the way she acts. The way she would cry at her Uncle Neji grave when bringing flowers, the way she would squeal at her brother tickling her till she can't breathe. The way she would blush at Shikadai when they saw him on the streets, but she couldn't really put on how her daughter was acting when Shikadai dropped her off.
Hinata stared at her daughter with concern, she knew something was off. Himawari hair was sticking on to her forehead, her face was flushed with color, her legs were slightly shaking. "Hima. Are you okay? I saved some dinner for you." Himawari nodded and took off her shoes, "Yea I'm just heading straight to bed. Good night." Himawari yawned and went up the stairs, taking one step she hissed and took another. Hinata narrrowed her eyes at her daughter yet she let that slide, 'I'll talk to her in the morning.' she thought, watching her daughter go upstairs.
The next morning was normal. Naruto came late last night to rest and left the house early, Hinata was in the kitchen making breakfast as usual and waiting for her kids to wake up. She smiled as she put the last bowl of rice on the table. "Boruto, Himawari! breakfast is ready!" she sang going back to the kitchen. Boruto came down the stairs and slid the paper door opened, he yawned and put one of his hand under his white shirt. "Morning mom, did dad leave already?"
Hinata looked at her son amused, "Yes. He did, is your sister up yet? Her breakfast is gonna get cold." Boruto shrugged and sat around the table, "I didn't see her today or last night." Himawari walked through the open paper door and joined her brother around the table. "Good morning." she mumbled grabbing her bowl of rice and eating it slowly. Boruto gaped at her sister, Hinata looked at her daughter in confusion. Usually Himawari would be bouncing off the walls, hugging and kissing her brother and her mother.
But today was different. After breakfast, she went to get change for the day. She put on a yellow sleeveless hoodie with a fishnet shirt under it, slipped on a pink-thigh-high shorts and put her hair in a messy bun, slipping on her sandals, she left telling her mother she'll be back. Her brother tagged along with her making her plan shift down south, her plan was to vist Shikadai and talk about what happened yesterday. Heading into the Nara community, her brother kept on asking questions as she made it to Shika's house.
"Are you here to vist Shikadai? Does he know your here?, Does mom know where you went?,Why are you even her-" Boruto wasn't able to finish his sentence as he saw his sister punch the stone wall making a huge dent in the wall giving him a shiver down his back. Himawari glared at her brother, the byakugan staring hard at her brother chakra lines. "I'm sick and tired of your questions nii-chan. Leave me alone and go bug somebody else! or i will gentle fist your ass!" she growled, relasing her byakugan and heading straight to the front door.
Boruto squeaked and ran away, leaving to go find Mitsuki or Sarada. Himawari saw her brother leave and sighed, with a trembling hand, she knocked on the door and waited patiently for someone to open the door. The door was flung opened by some type of force startling Himawari, she gasped as she saw Shikamaru thrown out of the house and landing on the grass. Temari Nara came out of house, her giant fan released showing the purple circle patterns.
Temari growled and put her fan away, "Shikamaru, go to work! were stuggling on money to pay the bills. Don't come back till sundown or else..." She put her hand in a fist, a major evil vibe surrounding her, Himawari took this time to make sure they notice her presence. "Um Auntie Temari." Temari glared at her, "What!!" she yelled Himawari stepped back for safety. "Can I go in the house?" She asked pointing to the broken door, Temari expression softened and smiled "Yes you can dear. Shikadai is at the back."
Himawari smiled sheepishly "T-Thank you auntie." She scurried quickly in the house not missing Shikamaru's scream as she turned a corner heading down to the backyard, finally seeing a figure on the floor with a mini table in front of them, Himawari tip-toed behind him and quickly covered his eyes. "Guess who." She said drawing out the 'o' in 'who', Shikadai hummed and chuckled "Is it Pretty girl I know?" Himawari giggled "Yes. It is a pretty girl.","Then. Himawari." Himawari grinned and kissed his nose "Bingo" she whispered, taking her hands off his face. Himawari smiled and went to the opposite side to sit across from him. She sat down 'crisscross' and glanced at the shogi board, "What are you doing, Shikadai?" Shikadai said nothing, only gazing at the board.
Himawari pouted-But then got an idea, she put her fingers on the board and started to shake them back and forth. Shikadai grasped her fingers and brought them to his lips, Himawari blushed at the affection her lover was giving her. He kissed her knuckles and the back of her hand, he started to go to her wrist, planting small kisses on it. He held on to her wrist and pulled her to him. Himawari put her hand on the board to keep her balanced, Shikadai moved his head closer to hers , now seeing her surprised expression.
"Oi. Stop distracting me, Uzumaki. I'm trying to think of a strategy for my next mission soon." Himawari smirked and bit her lip, "Oh. How am I distracting you Nara? I'm just here to watch you do your thing." Shikadai moved his head a little closer to hers thier lips barely touching, he chuckled. "What kind of thing are you talking about Uzumaki?" Himawari licked her lips, "This thing" she whispered before smashing her lips on his. Shikadai smirked into the kiss and roughly pushed his tounge into her mouth making her moan softly. Thier tounge rolled over each other and fought for dominance, as usual Shikadai would always win, breaking the kiss to breathe. Himawari breathing became ragged and in sync with Shikadai's heavy breathing.
After cooling down, Himawari asked the question she's been curious about ever since yesterday, "Shikadai?" Shikadai was laying down, the shogi board now gone, he looked at her waited for her to talk, "Why did you kiss me? And had sex with me?" Shikadai eyes widened at the questions, he cleared his throat, "Because your Boruto's sister. You were the easiest target to have sex with."
Himawari has never felt so angry and hurt in her life, she honestly thought that Shikadai had loved her and finally saw that she loves him she really loves him. But-he had used her.
He had used her .
She took a deep breath and counted to 10 like her sensei had told her when she wanted to really kill the person who made her extremely angry. Reaching ten she stood up and glared at Shikadai, her tears flowing like a waterfall down her cheeks.
"Oh, so I'm a target now." Shikadai chuckled-Himawari growled lowly down her throat. "Yes you are a target. Just Kidd-" Shikadai closed his mouth at the sight of the 16-year-old girl crying, She looked at him one last time then running out of the home, crying her heart out. She passed Temari who was fixing the door and saw the confused look on the older woman's face. Running down the Main Street now, she tripped and fell hard on the ground scraping her knee and cheek. She groaned and hugged herself on the road. A person approached her, covering them with her shadow.
"Himawari?" It was a female voice that called her name. she looked up, her eyes squinting away from the sun, she used her hand to cover her forehead to see the female better. It was Sarada, she was wearing a black shirt under a simple red overalls. Her hair was pulled back into a high ponytail, her red glasses shining in the sun making it look like she was wearing ruby glasses. Sarada looked at Himawari the same way her mother did.
Concern.
Himawari lift herself up and brushed off the dirt on her shorts, she smiled fakely hoping Sarada would buy it. "Oh nee-chan! Good morning! where were you coming from?" her peppy voice cracked a bit, which made Sarada not buy her act at all. She wrapped her arms around Himawari, feeling somewhat guilty at Hima's sadness resonating in the atmosphere.
"You don't need to fake your happiness around me, if you need to cry. Then cry, baka." Himawari hicupped and gripped on to Sarada's back and cried, her sobs were breaking the young Uchiha heart. When Himawari stopped crying, her face was red, her eyes were puffy and tear tracks started to appear. "Let's take you home, Auntie Hinata should be wondering where you went." Himawari nodded and walked the way home with Sarada beside her.
During the walk home, Sarada tried to cheer her little sister up-It didn't work. She wanted to ask what made her so sad that she had to stay on the ground in the middle of road, while people were staring and laughing at her? Sarada learned from her mother to respect someone's business, even it means family. Which was the case right now. Arriving at the Uzumaki residence, Sarada knocked on the door and hugged Himawari one last time.
"I promised Cho-cho that I'll train with her, will you be fine?" Himawari smiled sadly, "Thank you for bringing me home, nee-chan and yes I'll be fine." Sarada pushed up her glasses and left the Uzumaki residence. Hinata opened the door and saw her distressed daughter, instanly she let her daughter into the home closing the door, directing her daughter to the living room. She lead her to the couch. "Hima, what happend? were you crying? Why?" Hinata cupped her cheeks and checked for any injures.
Himawari sniffed, she absolutely cannot tell her mother that she had sex with the son of her father's advisor. Just thinking about it felt weird. So she did what any teenager would do, she lied. "I was crying because dad won't let me go on a medical mission that i really think it would impact big time in my career." Hinata smiled, "Well I could try to persuade your father to bring you on that mission." Himawari grinned, "Really?" she beamed, her sad mood completely gone.
Hinata laughed, "Of course! anything to cheer you up." Himawari squealed and hugged her mom, "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Hinata chuckled, "Your welcome. Now if you excuse me I'll prepare for dinner, were having ramen." Himawari stood up and gave her mother a cheeky smile, "Okay. I'll go wash up." Her mother smiled again and left the room, when Himawari was certain that her mother went into the kitchen, she frowned and bit her lip, Now-she's lying to her to mom?
Himawari has never felt so sick in her life.
