Naruto – Waves of Confusion

Alright guys, I am happy to see that you are enjoying this story, along with the other two mirror stories that I have put up. Sorry if they all seem rather forced and unnatural with the dialogue, I am not the best at this sort of thing.

Anyways, like I have mentioned previously, Ash will be genderbent in all three stories, so don't complain to me if you don't like that.

So, people who are wondering about the typings, since I gave you all some time to figure it out, here they are:

Waves of Confusion – Dark & Fire Types

Maelstrom Trainer – Psychic & Ghost Types

Prideful Warriors - Fighting & Dragon Types

Chapter 2 – Preparation for Summer Camp

Naruto was ecstatic after watching the video of Professor Oak, one of most famous people alive in the Kanto region and maybe even the Pokémon world. While the area they watched the video in was crowded, as it was on the main street in Saffron City, the lady that took him there and even mentioned the video in the first place allowed him to be placed on her shoulders.

Now, he had a slight skip in his step as he walked down one of the lesser crowded streets of Saffron City, it was a nice and cosy street, everyone knew each other and were friendly to one another, some people even went as far to help the people moving in or out. It was a nice little neighbourhood street, and luckily, it was a relatively smaller street, one which Naruto can proudly call his childhood home.

As he continued to walk with a small skip, he witnessed many Psychic type Pokémon roaming about, varying in sizes and species, from small Abra's seemingly dozing off in the middle of the yards, to a derpy looking tree-like Pokémon with three different faces on it, each holding a different expression, even a few Venomoths gliding about near the nests they made in the trees along the outskirts of the city.

"Hey Naru. Where were you today? Not any tricks I hope?" An elderly voice called out, bringing Naruto's attention from the Pokémon and the surrounding areas to where the voice was.

He felt his lips go into a small grin, he brought his right hand up and gave a small wave to the elderly woman. "Hey, Ms. Riwe, and no, no tricks have been performed lately." Naruto said happily, his grin still plastered on his face as he ran his way over to the elderly woman, who he has known for a few years now.

Ms. Riwe was a middle-aged lady, somewhere in her late sixties, and has been a resident in Kanto for more than three decades, while not a Kantonian by birth, she believed herself to be one. Having been born in the Hoenn region, she still retained some of her tanned skin, although with wrinkles clearly seen on her body.

She stood at a height of 5'6 and wore a rather fancy purple shirt with many red and white stars on them, along with comfortable looking black sweatpants, along with a simple pair of sandals with socks that went up to her knees.

Her hair was white and went down to her neck, with two bangs framing her wrinkled face and her hazel eyes shining in amusement, along with having a small wart near her nose.

"Alright then, so what has gotten you happier than a Happiny?" She asked, a small smile gracing her face, totally relishing in the annoyed groan that Naruto released.

Naruto slumped slightly, leaning his head against the wooden post that was painted a light shade of grey. "Please, not again." He muttered to himself, loathing the fact that every time he talked to Ms. Riwe, she always gave a Pokémon related pun to his mood. After his little moment, he brought his head up and looked her directly in the eye, trying his best to ignore the look that she had on her face. "Well, I just heard that Professor Oak is holding a Summer Camp, so I am going to ask my family if I could go." Naruto said to the aged woman.

She nodded her head to that, before she gently ran her hand over his head, ruffling it slightly, despite his protests. "Well, if you do go, then I wish you a good time. I heard that it is a great week to be there for the shorties like you." She said, amusement in her voice and eyes shining in mischief as she called Naruto another thing he didn't like.

Naruto pouted, an annoyed look in his eye that just made him even cuter than he already was. "I am not short!" He whined lightly, before he took a deep breath, before questioning what she was doing. "What are you doing? You normally don't leave the house or garden that much." Naruto said, looking at her choice of clothing, which was a little more eye catching and formal looking than what she normally wears.

Her face shifted from her normal happy attitude, to one of sadness, her eyes losing their twinkle and her lips curling down into a small frown. "I'm heading to Lavender Town. It's time I visited some of my important people." She said lightly, tears nearly brimming in her eyes.

Naruto nodded his head, generally when people went to Lavender Town, it was a place where people mourn the loss of others, whether they be Pokémon or humans with the cemeteries the town has.

"Well, run along now. I'm sure your sister is waiting for your return." She stated, giving another sad smile to the young boy, who was about to turn 7 years old in a week and a half.

"Alright, thanks granny." Naruto said, bringing her into a quick hug before completely turning around and booking it down the street. He really didn't want his sister to lose her cool again.

Ms. Riwe watched as the little ball of sunshine ran down the street, before shaking her head and started to continue what she was doing before catching him, and that was to prepare for her mourning time for her family, along with her Pokémon. 'Still calls me granny. I wish I was actually one.' She thought to herself, shaking her head clear of those thoughts.

-N-WoC-

As Naruto finally made his way to his family home, he took his time and marvelled how it looked.

Even after living here for all his life, the house still was beautiful to look at. From the outside, this house looks old, but wonderful. It has been built with tan bricks and has brown brick decorations. Small, rounded windows add to the overall look of the house and have been added to the house in a very symmetric way.

The building is shaped like a circle. The house is half surrounded by a garden path.

The second floor is the same size as the first, but part of it hangs over the edge of the floor below, creating an overhang on one side and a balcony on the other. This floor has a very different style than the floor below.

The roof is low, triangular and layered and is covered with grey ceramic tiles. One small chimney pokes out the centre of the roof.

The house itself is surrounded by paved ground, with a small pond at one side and various potted plants all around the house, with a small lavender fence line surrounding the outskirts of the paved garden.

"Home sweet home." He murmured to himself, walking up to the front gate and unhooking the hatch from the lock it was in, the fence opened with a slight creak, going from how old it is and swung inwards.

As soon as Naruto entered the garden and locked the gate back up, he suddenly felt like he was being watched, shivers went down his body, he didn't even need to look behind him to see what was causing his shivers.

"Naruto." A near monotone and feminine voice said from behind him.

He turned around slowly, gulping as he did so, his hairs on his arms still not going down, and he swore he could feel the hairs on his neck stand upright.

He was met with his older sister, and his only sister, Sabrina. Although the family did not have a last name, unlike he did, it wasn't completely unnatural for people around the world to not have a last name, it wasn't their last name that made them famous most of the time. It was their first name.

Sabrina stood a couple of inches taller than Naruto himself, and years a red dress that goes down to her knees that also has yellow buttons going down the side, black skin tight pants also can be seen coming from below the knee-high dress. Her hair is dark purple that can sometimes be mistaken for black, with hints of dark green in them, a fringe was also in the style. Her indigo eyes were rather cold, but Naruto could still see some warmth in them, like they always had for him, and to no one else, not even their parents.

Clutched in her moderately pale hands was a small silver spoon, one that was bent at a very odd angle, almost in an L shape.

"H-hey sis." Naruto said, a tremor in his voice as he watched Sabrina slowly walk her way over to him, an unreadable expression plastered on her normally stoic face... except this one looked worse than her resting face.

"What's this I can sense from you?" She said, coming up extremely close to Naruto's personal space. Naruto briefly thought how weird and creepy it was that every time he came home, Sabrina was either waiting for him in one of the many rooms in the house or coming out of the house to meet him in the garden. "Something about leaving Saffron City?" She asked, her near monotone voice gaining some heat in it, as her eyes seemed to glow with Psychic power.

Naruto started to sweat heavily, not only was his sister scary when she was mad, her monotone voice always made it worse. Naruto knew that his sister had powers, he found that out quickly, however, it also meant that she could probe someone's mind, although she wasn't that good at it, which normally meant she got some details wrong.

Naruto desperately waved his hands in front of his face, a frightened look on his eyes as he watched his sister close in on him. "You got it wrong! I am just excited to hear about the Summer Camp that Professor Oak is holding!" He said, momentarily flinching as he braced himself for something to happen.

He felt nothing. Not even a weird feeling in his head.

He looked up with much trepidation and saw that Sabrina was frozen, her face still blank, before she spoke in a tone that demanded that she was answered.

"What?"

The simple question made Naruto gulp, and started to sweat even more now, he could have sworn that any plants would have had a nice drink with the amount of sweat he was producing right now.

OK, that doesn't sound pleasant to think about now that he thought about it.

"I-I w-watched Professor Oaks show. S-saying how there was a Summer Camp happening by the end of the week. I-I want to go." Naruto stuttered out, fearing the worst of his sister. Her temper was very feisty and erratic.

"No." She simply answered.

"EH!? Why?" Naruto answered, in shock with how nonchalantly and quickly she replied.

"I said 'no'. I am meant to look after you, and besides, there is a school here that you could go to instead." Sabrina replied, her monotone voice and near glare made it clear that she didn't want Naruto to go away from her sights.

Even when he was in town and she was at the Pokémon School or being taught by her father to be a Gym Leader at home was stressful enough. She was sure she broke a few vases and golf clubs laying around.

"The Pokémon school will know I am your brother and they will be more lenient on me! I want to go to the camp, and learn more, even be in a place that is not in Saffron City!" Naruto yelled out, before he sighed to himself, seeing as how Sabrina wouldn't budge on the option, even though he saw a slight flinch when he said the leniency on the school.

Somehow Sabrina didn't doubt that to be a lie. Everyone in the school teachers feared her, if her little brother went to the same school, then they would be even more cautious than before.

She was just about to re-affirm her answer, but then she made a deadly mistake.

She looked at Naruto's face, which was now in a notorious mode, one that made him even more deadly than his already cute appearance. He made the quivering Vulpix look. Since his whisker-like markings already gave him a fox-like appearance, now with his quivering lips and teary eyes that seemed to grow even larger, it made it impossible to resist, even for a Psychic-in-learning for Sabrina.

She 'tsked' and looked away, before she finally gave a sigh and relented. "Fine. I'll call our parents to arrange it." She said, as she turned around to not see the look again, and headed inside, where she would now have to call their parents.

"Yatta!" Naruto cheered, jumping up and down, pumping his hands in the air with the whoop of joy.

He really didn't like pulling the 'Quivering Vulpix' look as it was dubbed by the general populous, he only did it when he really wanted something, which was rare as is, however, afterwards he felt bad for doing it, as he felt like he scammed his way for the thing he wanted.

'Better go pack some things. I know our parents wouldn't really mind.' He thought to himself, coming back down to the ground, before he shook his head. 'I'm worried about sis though. I wonder how she will last the two weeks without me.' He thought idly to himself as he went into the house and up the stairs to his room, which was by Sabrina's as well. Apparently, when Naruto was a baby and Sabrina was still very young, they were near inseparable, always doing everything together and Sabrina being very cautious around others, even their parents when they were together.

Timeskip

It has been a couple of days since Sabrina reluctantly agreed to talk to their parents about letting Naruto go to the Summer Camp in Pallet Town, after falling for Naruto's quivering fox look.

As Naruto expected, their parents allowed Naruto on this trip, and Sabrina looked like she swallowed something bitter when they agreed to it, she really hoped they wouldn't agree with it and Naruto would have had to stay with her for even longer.

She mentally promised herself that when he got back, she would ask anything and everything about what happened. Who annoyed him, who bullied him, did he speak to any girls or make any friends? If they were the first three options, then she would have no problem remembering their names and when they were older, she would have a small visit to and do some... 'convincing' possibly even injuring them in the process.

Right now, Naruto was waiting outside the fence line with Sabrina being behind the fence, still in the garden area as Naruto was waiting for the bus to pick him up and take him to the Summer Camp.

Naruto was wearing a simple black jumper with a white Poke Ball with red linings, making it a premier ball, while he also had grey and white trimmed shorts on that went down to his knees and blue sneakers with gold linings and grey shoelaces. His hair was still messy as always, and his eyes were shining with happiness, a large megawatt smile plastered on his face.

"Remember Naruto, try not to get into any trouble." Sabrina said, her monotone voice breaking the small silence that the two had around them.

Naruto turned around and looked at his sister, one who he loved even with her creepy attitude and her powers. It made her unique compared to the others, and Naruto liked that. Everyone needs to be different.

"I'll try." He said happily, his smile still plastered on his face as he gave a thumbs up towards Sabrina, who rolled her eyes at his attitude.

HONK

Naruto's eyes grew wide as he heard the honking of a horn and the sound of an engine coming closer to his position.

Sabrina however, looked downtrodden at the noise. She cursed herself, before smiling towards Naruto as he will be going to the place he wanted. Although she wouldn't see him on his birthday, she will make it up when he gets back.

As the bus pulled up and opened its doors. Naruto saw that it was a relatively standard bus, being primarily red with some black around it, he could also see other children on the bus chatting happily.

He turned around once again and brought his arms up to Sabrina, who turned around once again and leaned down to return the hug and gave him a small kiss on the forehead.

"Have fun." She simply stated, before she watched Naruto turn on his heel and pick up a small suitcase that was light grey with a leaf pattern on it.

"See ya, sis!" He called out as he sprinted on the bus, before finding a free spot by the window. As soon as he plopped himself down, he looked out the window and gave one final wave and a brilliant smile, before the bus zoomed forward, leaving Sabrina alone.

"Goodbye, brother." Sabrina sighed as she seemed more sluggish than normal, turning on her heel with a downcast expression on her face as she wombled back to the house.

END CHAPTER

Alright guys, I hope you enjoyed this chapter, hopefully it seemed more 'normal' then forced like last chapter did. Anyways, I want you guys to leave down in the reviews or PM me about who Naruto should meet at the Summer Camp.

Obviously, Serena and Genderbent Ash will be two. It can be from the main series anime, games or even the manga that characters could appear from. If you don't know them or their personalities, look at their manga counterparts if they are a main series hero/heroine from the games.

Yandere Sabrina is starting to appear.

Don't forget to Review on my other Mirror Stories, they motivate me as I know what to improve on and I know that people are enjoying my stories.
