Chapter 2: When I Was Younger
My life wasn't always this way. I was happy once.
I lived in a small cottage on the outskirts of London with my mother, Angelina Weston, and my father, Ramone Weston. We were happy. I was a normal little girl who had friends, went to school, and did normal things like any other little girl.
Except I had something that little girls my age never had. I had magic inside of me. I was scared of it. I didn't know how to control it until I reached Hogwarts, where I learned how to use magic for good.
So, every year, after Hogwarts was over for the semester, I would return to that little cottage. Every year was the same. I'd come home. Mother would have a big dinner prepared and father would always have a small present for me. It was something I looked forward to every year.
But the summer after my sixth year. The summer after I had the fling Draco, everything changed.
The evening had started like before. I came home, dinner was ready, father had his special gift. That summer, it was a beautiful forever lily he had found while in the woods. It was almost the perfect first day of summer.
Until, just after mother had started clearing the dishes for dessert, the dark ones came in.
It grew dark and gloomy outside as black clouds of smoke swarmed us all around. The smoke clouds landed to show three, rather gruesome, men in a gothic uniform, in which I found out he uniform was a Death Eater costume, standing before us.
Two of them instantly attacked my mother and father while the biggest one came for me. I pulled out my wand and stepped back from the man, who was twice my size and coming at me faster than I could run away.
I was backed into a corner with no escape from the man. My parents' blood was already splattered on the wall and a bald man had already came into the room.
I knew it was the end for me. I was going to die. These men were out to kill me because of my blood. I looked up with horror as the man drew his wand.
Suddenly, a puff of black smoke flew in from the window.
"Don't kill her!" A man's voice gasped. I look over to see a man in which I had never met. I drew the conclusion that he was Draco's father, after seeing his bleach blonde hair and similar ice blue eyes, "My Lord, her blood is not worth it to be spilled. "
"Ah, Lucius, "The bald man said, "Would this girl happen to be the girl your son had fallen in love with?"
"Yes, My Lord, "Lucius said, "My Lord, if you spare her, perhaps bring her back to the manor with us. Show him that she's alive. Draco would follow you completely. "
At the mention of Draco's name, my eyes grew wider. If he was working with these men, I had no knowledge of it.
"Bring her with you, Lucius, we'll decide later tonight what happens to her now, "the apparent 'lord' told him, taking my parents' murders with him.
