Jewels: I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh.

Marik: Seriously she doesn't.

Jewels: Thanks for clarifying that.

Marik: No problem.

"Look at all these customers," Sasha said as duelists and their friends finally started to pour into the restaurant.

"See all we had to do was keep our hopes up," I said as I walked past her with a try full of food. I gave the customer their food and then I looked back at my sister. She had her hands clasped together and her eyes had a twinkle in them. I knew what she was thinking. She was thinking about all the money that we were going to make…me on the other hand…just knowing that our restaurant was this successful was enough for me.

-Closing time-

"Thanks for coming," Sasha said as the last customer left and then she turned to me, "Today was amazing…the amount of people that we had in here…do you think we'll have that many people in here tomorrow?"

I chuckled. "I think so and maybe even more," I replied.

We started to close up shop and said goodbye to the rest of our staff and then headed home. That night my dreams were peaceful…and well boring.

MARIK'S POV

'I cannot fall asleep' I thought as I laid in bed staring at the ceiling, 'That's the only way I won't see that girl is if I don't go to sleep'. My eyelids started to get heavy and soon, even though I tried to fight it, sleep over took me

DREAM

"Marik…Marik…Open your eyes sleepy head," I heard that familiar female voice from the previous nights say. I abliged to her request and this time instead of her being next to me my head was in her lap and she was looking down at me.

"I want to hate you for haunting my dreams…but for some reason I can't," I said as she gently stroked my cheek with her hand.

"I don't mean to haunt you Marik…I only wish to help you," she said.

I sat up and looked at her. "Help me? Help me with what?" I asked.

"You have so many demons from your past that you carry with you everyday," she replied as she once again put her hand on my cheek, "At the end of the day…you need someone to help you relax and forget about every…thing."

Her last two words were slow as she looked past me, I turned to see what she was looking at and I saw my Yami standing near the bed with his arms crossed.

"He doesn't need anyone," he said he raised the Millennium Rod towards her and-

END OF DREAM

I sat strait up and I was breathing heavily. I looked over at the Millennium Rod and shook my head. This girl whoever she was was some sort of distraction. 'Maybe Ishizu found a way to use the Millennium Necklace to do something like this, to throw me off, to stop my plan'.

JEWEL'S POV

When I woke up the next morning and did my usual routine and went to work. But here's the thing…SASHA WAS LATE. When she finally did walk in the door the other employees scattered like sheep and I looked at her and tapped my foot.

"Where have you been?" I asked, "We opened over an hour ago."

"Chillax," she said, "I bumped into Yugi and I asked him how things were going and we talked for a little bit." She threw her bag in the office and sat down on a chair and looked at me. "Oh he says hi and if we see any purple hooded freaks to stay as far away from them as we can because they are these "Rare Hunters" guys and they are apparently dangers."

I just blinked at her.

"Trust me I thought it was nuts to but look outside," she said.

I turned and looked outside and saw a guy wearing a purple cloak. "Yugi does know that I do know how to take care of myself right?" I asked.

"Of course silly," she said pouring herself some water, "He just wants us to be careful that's all. It's so cute how protective he can be."

My stomach turned. It was cute and all how my sister liked Yugi, but she always talked about him being so "cute" or "adorable". It sometimes became nauseating.

"So you still going on that date tonight?" she asked.

"Nope," I replied going back to the new menus that I was putting together.

"Aaaaawwwwww…why not? That guy seemed really nice when I met him," she whined.

"For some odd reason I just felt like I'm not meant to go out with this guy…like something is telling me not to," I said.

She thought for a moment. "Maybe mom is watching over you and pushing you in another direction," she said smiling.

"Yeah," I scoffed, "Right…mom watching over me…that's a rich one Sasha."

"It was just a thought," she said moving from the chair she was in to the one closest to me, "Why don't you take a break…I'll finish up." She took the menus from me and looked at the empty counter in front of me.

"She would never watch over me," I said looking at my blurry reflection in the counter top, "It's my fault she's gone." I went to walk away but Sasha grabbed my arm and I turned and looked at her.

"It's not your fault Jewels…and I'm sure mom is watching over you and is pround of you," she said smiling, "I mean just look around you…we opened this restaurant and its successful and on top of that you help people when they need help. You're the kindest person I know…mom would watch over you no matter what."

"I…It's just…Nevermind," I said before going to the office and closing the door behind me. Sasha didn't understand how I felt about our mother's death. We were twins…but she just couldn't, and would never understand.

Jewels: Seems like Marik isn't the only one with demons in his past…stay tuned.
