Hey everyone, sorry for the ludicrously long break in between chapter one and two. I started writing this Fanfiction after I re-watched the entire series and I lost inspiration quickly after it was over. So now I have decided to write while re-watching the series in order to keep my inspiration and creative juices flowing. I hope everyone will be in for a surprise in the upcoming chapters, as I have attempted to keep this Fanfiction as original as possible, I am going to try my best to not repeat scenarios that have been represented in other Fanfictions already and I am going to try my best to keep chapters coming consistently. Also, don't being expecting much angst between Aang and Katara, maybe the other characters, but seeing it in stories between them pains me, I can't even imagine writing it. Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know what was going on and if anyone has any ORIGINAL ideas they would like to see in the Fic, feel free to message your idea to me and i'll consider it and try my best to fir it in. Thanks so much and I hope you enjoy chapter 2.

"Sokka, STOP" Katara demanded as the Gang traveled to Ember Island on Appa's back, Sokka had just started on another of his rants complaining about Aang and Katara dating.

"I trust Aang and all, but you two need to lighten up on all the lovey-dovey stuff, It's not alright with me for you two to do anymore than hold each other's hands" Sokka stated. Katara sent him a glare that even scared Aang.

"Don't even think of trying to get between us or you'll end up in the ocean below before you know it and it won't be an enjoyable swim" Katara said as menacingly as she could. Aang put his hand on her arm as the rest of the Gang laughed and Sokka peeked over the side to see how far the fall would be.

Katara turned to Aang and whispered in his ear "You know I'm only bluffing, it wouldn't be a fun fall, but I would never try to actually hurt him".

Aang laughed and said "I know Katara I was actually going to say thank you, he was even starting to test my patience, and that usually takes a lot". Then Aang gave her a peck on the lips and Sokka was about to start on another rant when Suki stopped him.

"I know you don't think Katara was serious Sokka, but judging by the look in her eyes when she said that, I don't think she was joking. She likes Aang that much, you would be wise to not interfere, besides he's Aang when has he ever thought of himself before any of us?" Sokka just sighed.

Under his breath he said "I guess your right, I'll try to relax a little and enjoy this vacation" Suki kissed him as a sign of her appreciation, but only Sokka knew of the struggle going on in his heart over Aang and Katara, but also over his own life and relationship.

"So what's everyone planning to do when we get to Ember Island?" asked Katara.

The question seemed to be a general one but Katara had subtly addressed it to Zuko without anyone but Aang and Zuko himself noticing. Unknown to either of them though, is that she had done it on purpose, as he had been acting weird and wanted to know what was up.

"Nothing much, just looking to relax a little before Aang and I have to get down in the nasty business of fixing all the problems left by the war" Zuko answered while never making eye-contact with Katara, which made her even more suspicious. However it was apparent she wasn't going to get anymore out of him so she moved on.

"What about you Toph?" She asked.

"Eh, I honestly don't know Sugar Queen, might try and make up some new nicknames for you guys or something, just because I know how much you all love them." The Gang just laughed and rolled their eyes at Toph, which of course, she couldn't see.

"Don't worry Toph, you won't be bored, you can come shopping with me and Katara!" Suki said happily, until Toph reminded her that shopping is stupid for her because she can't she what fabric and clothing looks like. So Katara said they would go jewelry shopping so she could at least feel the gems so she could at least have an idea of what it looked like.

Suddenly Aang yelled "I can see the Island guys! It looks like a festival or something is going on, there's a ton of people in the streets and people shooting fire everywhere… Actually it kind of looks like a battle! We better get down there quick!" As Appa descended it became clear to the entire Gang that it was in fact a battle and a large one at that.

"What groups could possibly be fighting each other?" Sokka wondered out loud.

"Probably some rebellious faction still loyal to my father and sister, hopefully they're not very established and will be easy to put down." Aang nodded his head in agreement.

"I don't really want to spend all the time before the peace talks fighting against a rebellious faction of zealots still loyal to those tyrants."

Suddenly Zuko saw something that shocked him, he realized there were 2 different elements being used, this wasn't a rebellion it was an attack against the Fire Nation!

"Guys, this is an Earth Kingdom attack on the Fire Nation not a rebellion, look at the Earth being used, there are clearly great numbers of Earthbenders here, probably enough for an invasion"

Aang was starting to get frustrated at the ignorance of some people throughout the world, he had just ended an 100 year long war that had already practically destroyed a nation, and here was another group attempting to restart it. Suddenly Appa lurched as a pillar of earth suddenly shot up from underneath them in an attempt to hit them, Aang then realized that they needed to land and join the battle immediately.

"Appa, land as soon as you find a place, guys get ready for a fight" he said grimly. The whole Gang just looked at him and nodded, they could tell he was beginning to get angry.

Appa landed rather suddenly and before anyone could do anything Aang was already in the fight, using all four elements to knock aside all benders. Suddenly Zuko ran up behind him.

"Aang from asking around the Fire Nation soldiers, we've gathered that this isn't an Earth Nation attack, just a rebellious faction who wanted to take over Ember Island and start a new nation here"

Aang seemed relieved, "Good, let's just put down the forces here and we can gather more information and plan our next move if need be." Zuko nodded and ran off to join the fight where he was needed most.

As Aang looked around the battlefield he didn't really recognize any of the Earthbenders fighting, which was a relief to him, then he spotted their leader… It was a large, burly man that Aang didn't recognize, but he was throwing Firebenders aside like ragdolls, and his bodyguards were none other than the dreaded Di Lee Agents.
