"Tony! Have you seen the rings?" A shrill voice sounded from behind the dark mahogany door.
"OF course, I'm not your best man for nothing," Tony's voice sounded back, verbally rolling his eyes in disdain at the frantic pace of wedding life.
"I really appreciate this," The voice came through the door again, though slightly muffled as the originator pulled on his clothes. "I know we have not exactly been on the best of terms in the past but I hope this will bring the team closer together. We all need a break after the tragedies of the past."
"Anything for a friend," Tony replied, his voice soft in a moment of understanding, that was gone all too soon as he continued, "Yeesh, get a move on old man, everyone's waiting."

"Now the ring traditionally goes on the left hand but I think we can make an exception in this case." The room chuckles.
"The moment we have all been waiting for… Steven Rodgers, do you take James Buchanan Barnes to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
A simple statement, a promise, a future.
"I do."
A kiss to remember.
