Hello everyone! So, I have most OC's needed for Stoneclan, as only elders are open for submission, so I decided to start the story. Feel free to continue to submit more characters for the other clans that need it ^^
Chapter One: The Naming Ceremony
"Let all cats old enough to brave the mountain, gather beneath the High Stone for a clan meeting" the voice of Snowpaw's father, Swiftstar, rang clearly around the cave Stoneclan makes their home in.
Curiously Snowkit looked towards her father, who stood regally on top of the High Stone, she couldn't help but wonder if this was going to be her and her brother's apprentice ceremony. When all the cats had gathered beneath him, Snowpaw's father began to speak.
"Today marks an important day for two kits of Stoneclan, they have reached the age of six moons, and are ready to become apprentices" Swiftstar began.
Snowkit's eyes widened. This was it! This was their ceremony! She turned to her brother, who also had an excited look in his eyes, but turned back when Swiftstar began to speak again.
"Snowkit and Darkkit, will you please step forward" He father asked.
Nervous, but excited, Snowkit stepped forward with Darkkit by her side.
"Snowkit and Darkkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this moment on, until you have received your warrior name, you will be known as Snowpaw and Darkpaw. Your mentors will be Falconstrike and Littlestep, I hope they will teach you all that they know" her father smiled proudly at the two of them, but then turned to their mentors.
"Falconstrike and Littlestep, you two are more than ready to take on an apprentice. You have received training from myself and Rowenpelt. You two have shown you loyalty and bravery for this clan so I know you will teach all that you know to Snowpaw and Darkpaw".
The two warriors dipped their heads to Swiftstar, and began to walk toward Snowpaw and Darkpaw. Snowpaw walked forward as well and touched noses with her mentor Falconstrike as Darkpaw touched noses with Littlestep.
Falconstrike smiled down at Snowpaw and with a grin asked…
"So, what do you want to see first?"
And so, began Snowpaw's first day as an apprentice.
And there we go! The first of many chapters is finished! I know it's that long, but it's only the first chapter. I will try to upload as regularly as possible, but I do work full time, and will eventually be going back to school for my sophomore year of college~ Please review, and if you notice anything that could help me improve my writing let me know!
