Athena sat in the throne room, cringing at the hateful words Hera was now spitting out of her mouth at an unimaginable pace. Flailing her arms around as she continued to chew Zeus out for giving birth without her. Hades and Poseidon were listening to the nonsense Hera was spewing, both looking equally unfazed.

Athena decided to focus her attention on something else, settling with looking at the way their thrones were ordered. Zeus being in the middle of it all directly opposite of the entryway into the room, with Poseidon flanking Zeus's right followed by Hades. To his left was Hera, and to hers was Hestia accompanied by Athena.

Despite being sisters, Athena couldn't help but notice how different the other two woman in the room were. Hestia was always more caring and nurturing, she had a type of warmth to her that her sister didn't.

From the small amount of time Athena has been on Olympus, she's observed exactly how icy Hera's demeanor could be, she wasn't motherly at all despite her desire to have wanted to aid in Athena's birth. Now she just held cold hatred for the young goddess for being born.

Hera's extremely flashy form of clothes choice, the way she styled her hair and how they both clashed violently with Hestia's more courteous fashion. Not that there was anything wrong with the way Hera displayed herself, she was a beautiful goddess, she just had an ugly personality.

Athena looked over at Hestia, idly tapping her fingers on the arm of her throne, drinking in all of her features. She may not have been as beautiful as her sister, but Hestia held a type of flattering style to her that made her even more gorgeous than Hera in some aspects.

Hestia pushed some of her loose, curly locks of gold behind her ear. She looked almost remorseful for everyone in the room that was currently facing Hera's anger. Athena hasn't seen Hestia do much with her hair, she has always worn it down and always had a piece of cloth over it.

A delicate touch brought Athena back to her senses and she looked at Hestia who was softly smiling at her, and Athena kindly returned it. Zeus was now standing, trying to reason with Hera as she frantically paced around the room.

Hera was dainty compared to Zeus, small in stature too. If Athena had to guess, she'd say Hera was about five feet and six inches, which means Athena herself was seven inches taller than her. The one thing the sister had in common was their long curly hair coloured gold, but Hera always chose to wear hers tied up.

Athena brought her attention back to the argument before her, seeing now that Zeus was equally as frustrated as Hera.

"Was I not worthy enough to bear Athena as a child Zeus, is that what it was?" Hera said, arms now crossed over herself as she had a look of self-pity on her face.

She had soft features and all they did was compliment her femininity, just like Hestia's, but the latter chose to be more discreet about showing of her beauty. Athena kept constantly distracting herself, becoming curious in absolutely everything. The argument raveling out in front of her hard to concentrate on.

"Hera, my love, you are more than capable to have bore Athena as a child." Zeus replied, falling for her look of sadness.

"Then why did you choose to have her alone? I was there Zeus, all you had to do was ask."

"It wasn't my intention to give birth to a child, believe me, I am as surprised as you are." Zeus's voice was softer than his typical voice, one he loved to speak with to Athena.

Hera scoffed, "Right, like I am supposed to believe that. You knew damn well what you were doing, and you disgrace me by approving and accepting this child!"

Athena watched as Hestia physically cringed at Hera's choice of words. She didn't know whether to pass it off as anger taking over her thought process or if she should feel personally attacked by what was said, but she wasn't the only one who was affected by the display before them.

Poseidon slouched in his throne, aggressively tapping his fingers on the arm. He was practically glaring at Hera, like he had always held some hidden rage towards her and it was now seeping through the cracks because of her outburst.

"I don't see why you continue to argue this, you're saying the same shit. Can one of you just apologize and shut up already." Poseidon said with annoyance.

Athena had to agree with him, if ever so slightly. She thought they needed to speak about it and solve the problem. That is what she advised her father when he had asked, but Hera was not breaking and continued to stubbornly accuse Zeus of being horrible for her birth.

Hera stopped pacing and walked over to Poseidon, she glared back at him, looking ready to start some mayhem. Zeus pulled her away and cupped her face with one of his hands. He had a little twinkle in his eye, and upon seeing it, Hera seemingly turned to water.

"Now, let's not cause any trouble. I'm sorry, I didn't know, I swear." Zeus leaned down and placed a soft kiss on Hera's lips, and Hera fell for his charm once again.

A/N: Sorry it took me so long to add another chapter, I have been trying to work on somethings in my life, and I just haven't felt motivated to write. I just recently got back into doing the things I like, and writing this story is one of them. Please leave reviews, any constructive criticism helps. Thank you for the support.
