AN: I didn't mention it in the prologue. This story is NOT canon to any previous Miraculous story I've written. None of my OC's will appear. This takes place after the Miraculous Season 3 episode 'Chameleon' and the Trollhunters finale. If you have not seen Trollhunters, I recommend it. I loved it. Then again it was created by Guillermo Del Toro. One of my favorites. And though Part 1 of 3Below is also canon to this story, I will not be exploring the characters here. Sorry. I might include them, but not as major players. Anywho, thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng walked into her classroom to find her new arch nemesis, Lila Rossi was sitting next to Marinette's crush, Adrien Agreste. She was constanly coughing. Marinette went to sit down behind Lila, next to her best friend, Alya when...

"WAIT!" Alya screamed in a panic. Marinette jumped up in terror and everyone turned to their seats in shock. Alya picked up the reason why she'd screamed. A piece of used chewing gum on Marinette's seat. It began to stick to Alya's fingers. "Eww." Marinette took out a bag of tissues from her backpack and handed one to Alya. She wiped off all the gum, walked to the bin near Miss Bustier's desk, and dropped the tissue into it. "That was still wet." She sighed. "I hope it wasn't you but..." Alya turned to face Lila. "Did you do that?" The class gasped in shock.

Lila panicked. "No! How dare you!"

"Lila..." Marinette said. 'I really want to stick that gum in your hair!' She thought. "I'm not gonna be angry if it was you. We may not be on the best of terms but I'm not one for grudges or revenge. In fact, I wanted to say sorry for throwing that napkin at you and for trying to take the front seat away from you."

Lila was confused with Marinette's behavior. 'Oh, you're not gonna beat me at my own game, Marinette!'

"Well done, Marinette!" Miss Bustier said while clapping, breaking Lila out of her thoughts. "It takes a level of courage to admit you were wrong and apologize." Even a few of Marinette's classmates smiled. Marinette held her hand out. Lila refused to take it, so Marinette put her hand down. "Maybe later. However, there are still two problems. If it was Adrien, I don't see why he would tell Marinette about it."

Nino walked in. "Oh, boy..." He said. "Looks like I've interrupted something."

"It's okay, Nino. We need to begin class now anyway. Lila, could Nino have his seat back?"

Lila groaned but complied. Nino sat down in his seat, and Marinette and Alya returned to their seats. Class began but Chloé took a glare at Lila... as much as she could with Ivan blocking her view...

After class, Marinette was heading to her next lesson when she was stopped by Chloé. Chloé pulled her into the locker room, where Kagami was opening her locker. "Hey, Tsurugi!" Chloé called out. "Can you give us a minute?" Kagami walked past.

"It's Kagami," She responded as she walked out. Chloé turned to face Marinette.

"I want to show some gratitude for helping me... reconnect with my mom."

Marinette raised an eyebrow. "You want to stop Lila from flirting with Adrien."

"Oh, ok. That is most of it. But, I am trying to be better. I thought I could help you more as Chloé than I could as Queen Bee."

"So... what are you gonna do?"

"Call Jagged Stone and Prince Ali and ask them if they even know Lila."

Marinette smiled then frowned. "Adrien doesn't want to expose her and he doesn't want me to do it."

Chloé cringed. "Wow. I can't believe it! Adrikins... Well, he won't be exposing her and nor will you."

Marinette smiled. "Thank you, Chloé."

"Don't mention it," Chloé walked to the door but turned to look over her shoulder at Marinette. "Ever!"

The final lesson of the day. Miss Bustier again. Marinette walked into the classroom to find Alya and Lila arguing.

"You still haven't apologized," Alya said.

"Because I didn't do it!" Lila retorted while coughing badly.

"Leave it, Alya," Marinette said. "If she's still saying she didn't do it, maybe it's the truth. Can we just get through this lesson? Sounds like Lila needs some rest."

Chloé walked in. "Excuse me, everyone!" Alya and Marinette took their seats.

"You're letting her get away with it?" Alya asked.

"Bad people always have bad things happen to them," Marinette answered.

"I'm sorry for holding up the class but this cannot wait!" Chloé connected her phone to the projector wirelessly. "I've had some nice chats with the rich and famous. And you're gonna wanna hear them."

"Ugh!" Lila moaned. "We don't care about your conversations, Chloé." Lila began coughing again.

Chloé smirked. "You were the big one I talked about. How great you are and how inferior some people are to you."

Lila was intrigued. 'Wow, she's actually fallen for my tricks!' Lila almost coughed up a lung. 'What is WRONG WITH ME?'

"I recorded them. You're gonna wanna hear them."

Lila smiled. "Well, play them!" Lila dashed up to her seat in excitement.

Chloé chuckled. She played the first one.

"Hello, Jagged," Chloé said on the recording, thought the students only saw Jagged's face. Lila soon put two and two and got only one thought.

'Oh, shiiiiiiii-' She thought before the phone chat continued.

"Chloé!" Jagged responded. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"

"Oh, the pleasure's mine, Jagged. I just wanted to speak to you about a girl I know. You'll never meet another one like her. Her name's Lila. And well... I was surprised to hear that you'd written a song about her."

"What? I've never written a song about a girl named Lila." The class gasped.

"Really?! She says she got Tinnitus after she saved your cat from a jet engine."

"My cat? Fang's the only pet I've ever had! Chloé, I think you've been duped." The class gasped again.

"I don't think I'm the only one. I have to go, Jagged."

"Talk to you later!" The video stopped.

The class turned to face Lila with anger and shock. Lila couldn't look any of them in the eye and her coughing fits got worse. Chloé walked up and confronted her, Sabrina following her. "What else have you been lying about?" Lila turned and a moment of pure hatred, she spat in Chloé's face. Chloé took a step back and wiped Lila's spit off with her elbow sleeve. Even the class were shocked at Lila's actions.

"LILA!" Miss Bustier ordered. "Go to the nurses' office to get that cough checked out. Then get your backside to the Principal's office!" Lila stood up and walked out, everyone giving her glares, except for Adrien and Marinette. "Students, I know most of you must be shocked but we cannot let this affect us. After today's lesson, I think it would be wise to try and put this all behind us. Are you okay, Chloé?"

"I'm fine, Miss," Chloé responded. She sat back down alongside Sabrina. "I never liked Lila anyway."

The class began to stare at Marinette with a look of guilt on their faces.

Unbeknownst to the class, Lila's emotions had been detected by a frequent collaborator. The window opened and he began his monologue.

"You try and do the right thing, Chloé," He said. "And you still cause anger. Some people are just naturally evil." A white butterfly landed on his left hand. He placed his right and over it and black energy smothered it. Once he removed his hand, the black butterfly headed outside from the window. "Fly away, my little akuma and evilize that misunderstood girl!"

The akuma flew out of the Agreste Manor, and headed to the school...
