Sorry I haven't updated in a VERY LONG TIME

But honestly, I almost gave up on this story...

Chapter 2: So long as ye both shall live

The next morning, Sigyn woke to the sound of her chamber door being opened, then a squeak from her maid and best friend, Amora.

"I bought your gown- Wh-!?"

Amora was a beautiful well tanned girl with long and curly auburn hair and yellowish eyes.

She helped Sigyn to her feet and looked around the room. "-What on Asgard happened?" She asked.

Sigyn looked at her feet, "He caught me... Again."

Amora knew Sigyn had been trying to escape from her marriage to the Prince, Once she even asked to help. Sigyn however, told her that if Loki ever found out, he would've had killed her. So she refused.

"I'm so sorry." Amora told her sincerely as they tidied up her things.

Sigyn sighed. "It's not your fault, Amora." She stated. "It's mine. I shouldn't have tried to run in the first place."

Amora shook her head. "No. You never wanted to marry that monster in the first place. He's forcing you to do this! You mustn't give up."

Sigyn nodded slightly as Amora handed her the gown she'd be wearing for the worst day in her life.

It may have been a beautiful strapless gown, made from the finest fabrics of Asgard.

It was so white and flowed with her body that she felt as though she wasn't wearing anything.

Sigyn closed her eyes and opened her chamber windows after she put on her matching white shoes.

"Look at that, Amora." She pointed at the breathtaking sky, adorned by a mixture of colorful clouds and stars.

And Sigyn knew that every star was another world. Worlds she'd love to visit.

"When I was a little girl... I always dreamed of having an adventure somewhere out there... But if I marry him... I-I'll never be free." Sigyn stated sadly.

Amora sighed. "Maybe he could take you? He's traveled before, who's to say he won't again?"

Sigyn sat down on the small chair in front of her dresser, and let Amora braid her hair. "He will... But when he does... He'll leave me behind."

Amora placed a diamond tiara on Sigyn's head before she was completely and utterly beautiful. There was a knock on the door. "It's time!" A guard's voice stated.

The grand door opened and Sigyn felt thousands of eyes look at her as she slowly made her way down the aisle.

Loki waited for her with a nasty smirk plastered on his face.

All she wanted to do was turn around and run away, but she knew she couldn't run... There was no where to go.

So, she stopped in the middle of the aisle, "What're you doing?" He was inside he head! His voice was cold and angry.

People started muttering around her, but she just stood there, motionless. "I can't do it. I can't do this... Please."

She could feel his magic around her as her legs started to move again, but she couldn't stop, not until she reached him.

He glared down at her, her eyes were wide and shiny. Then, Odin spoke. "Dearly beloved, we are gathered together here in the sight of the nine realms, and in the face of this company, to join together this Man and this Woman." His words echoed throughout the hall. "If any man can show just cause, why they may not lawfully be joined together, let him now speak, or else hereafter for ever hold his peace."

"Loki Odinson wilt thou have this Woman to thy wedded wife, to live together after in Asgard? Wilt thou love her, comfort her, honor her, and keep her in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, keep thee only unto her, so long as ye both shall live?"

Loki smirked. "I will."

Then Odin turned to Sigyn. "Sigyn of Asgard wilt thou have this Man to thy wedded husband, to live together after in Asgard? Wilt thou love him, comfort him, honor him, and keep him in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, keep thee only unto him, so long as ye both shall live?"

She hesitated. "Never."

"Say yes, or I swear I'll-"

Before Loki could threaten her once again, Sigyn bit her lip. "I-I will..."

Loki grinned. "I Loki Odinson take thee Sigyn to my wedded Wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part."

When Sigyn said nothing, Loki sighed and whispered. "You're turn, darling."

"I-I Sigyn take thee L-Loki to my wedded... Husband, to have and to hold from this day forward... for better for worse... f-for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to ... l-love and to cherish, till death us do part." Sigyn fought back the tears.
