This is my second chapter to this story. I want to thank Nightfly123 and Alexriolover95 for their reviews. You both made me feel welcome in the Rio community.
Anyways, let's move on to part two of this story. I hope you enjoy it.
I'm the sole survivor of the ravens. This made me feel heartbroken that I won't be seeing them again. I then screamed from the pain in my abdomen for how much tears I drained from my eyes.
A black wing then grabbed me on both shoulders, dragging me along the ground. I then begin to realise that I have been captured as I was desperate of this figure to let me go, but he refused.
I was then taken to what used to be my clan's castle. While inside, I was brutally slammed down into the ground. I then looked up and saw the smirk on the beak of Draven. There was no forgiving him for what he'd done to murder my uncle.
He told his army about how I was a disgrace to the ravens for not fighting against him and that I was nothing short of a weakling. I couldn't do anything at this point. If I'd gone back in time, the magical staff my uncle gave me would have saved him. He then ordered the rooks to banish me from my homeland so that he would hear my screams that call for death. In other words, he wanted me to die slowly and painfully from my grief. I don't know why he would kill me right away. I would rather see my uncle in the afterlife than to live in a land that is taken over by rooks.
That fateful day came where I was taken outside and thrown to the soil. I was warned by Draven that if he ever sees me again, he'll order his rooks to kill me, which made me not care about life in the hills anymore. I left and never returned.
I was able to sneak the magical staff from under my wings before I went out, so at least the rooks never noticed. It's a loss of face that I forgot my bow and arrows, but I might make some along the way. While I was wandering through the woods, the staff lit up and I felt its power from my grasp. It then shot out a ball of light through a bark, creating a cavernous hole.
The hole then made a gateway to another world that I haven't seen before. It was a world where it was much brighter than it seems and there was nothing but planted trees. I was curious to where this will lead me, so I went through the bark.
I don't know much that happened then, but what I do know is that I woke up inside a hollow and then I saw a bright blue bird with short crest feathers and cerulean eyes. Her beak and talons were light black and her tail was long.
I knew that I was saved by her, thankfully. She told me that I was found unconscious by a river and she brought me to her hollow to recover. I asked her where I was and who she is. Her name is Catina and this is her home.
That's the end of the story for now. This will continue in my second story, which will be based on a roleplay I've been doing with a friend.
Sorry if it's a short story. It is my first time on this website that I did a story like this. It's actually been a week since.
Don't forget to leave a review on what you thought of this chapter.
Thanks for reading, birds!
