KKD: Been a little while since we touched upon this one.
TB: You got that right. We've been busy with other things lately, but can you blame some of us?
KKD: Yea. And we got a lot of projects to work on, too. But enough about that, we got a story to get back to.
TB: That's right, after our two siblings accepted Nick Fury's offer, I wonder what's gonna happen next?
KKD: Only one way to find out.

Shinji and Kaori were brought to a training area on the Helicarrier, Kaori currently being tested for any maximum speed and Shinji being tested for maximum strength. Kaori was being tested by running around in a cylindrical chamber that spun as she ran while Shinji was forced to lift large blocks of titanium. Meanwhile, Fury, Natasha, and Clint were watching the two from a viewing deck above the two teens, looking over the results.
"Not bad. Not bad at all," Fury stated.
"Are you sure these kids are ready to handle this sort of thing?" Clint asked Fury.
"I have the utmost confidence that these two will be ready for whatever comes their way," Fury answered.
The two siblings continued testing their skills until Shinji was starting to struggle in holding up the large blocks when he reached 10 tons. His legs started shaking a bit before he was forced to throw the weight off, his arms feeling very strained while Kaori reached about 1200 miles per hour, eventually losing her footing and tumbling around the cylinder, soon falling flat onto the floor.
"Should we help them?" Natasha asked Fury.
"...It looks like they've reached their limits. Go ahead," Fury ordered as Clint and Natasha nodded before they walked out of the viewing deck and into the training area.
Clint arrived to check on Shinji, who was panting in exhaustion while Natasha went to check on Kaori, who was currently looked like she twisted an ankle.
"Hey, you okay?" Clint asked Shinji.
"...Just tired… but I think my arms are feeling a bit weak after holding up that much weight," he answered, massaging his biceps, "...How's my sister?"
"Natasha's checking on her right now."
At that moment, Kaori was wincing in pain, gripping her ankle as Natasha came to check on her.
"Ow… owowowowowowow, my ankle…" Kaori grunted.
"It looks like you just twisted it. It may take a bit to heal, but I'm sure you'll be fine," Natasha assured, Shinji standing up slowly and walking over to Kaori.
"C'mon, sis. Let's get you to the Sick Bay," Shinji told her as he put Kaori's arm around his shoulders and helped her walk off.
Later, Kaori was all healed up, and was allowed to walk out of Sick Bay along with Shinji, who had his arms all rested up already.
"Man… that was tiring," Shinji admitted as he helped Kaori walk.
"I'm fine, bro. No need to help me," Kaori assured, getting herself back on her feet.
"You two performed very well. You've reached limits beyond normal human beings and have exceeded my expectations," Fury admitted, surprising the two kids, "Now, for your first task, I'm afraid I'm going to ask you two to split up for a while. I'll inform you when you can regroup, but for now, you two need to spend some time apart and learn to see how you operate as individuals."
"What?" Shinji gawked, "But… y-you can't just-"
"Also… about that complex of yours, Shinji. You need to stop being so protective of your sister, it's not bad, but the lengths you go to help her are unhealthy, especially considering her speed."
"But… But I…" he started before sighing, "To be fair, why wouldn't I be so protective after all the hell we were put through?"
"I understand, but some things you just need to let go of so you two can grow to become better people," Fury informed.
"*deep breath* Kaori, I'm sorry about this, but I don't want you getting hurt."
"It's okay. There's no need to worry, bro. I can handle anything just as much as you can," Kaori shrugged off, smiling, "Also, we can still contact through our mental connection, remember?"
"Well… yes, that's true, but we don't know how far we can be before we lose signal for the connection, and what're we supposed to do when we're separated," Shinji pointed out.
"We'll cross that bridge when we come to it. I think now's the time we can go," Kaori responded.
"Indeed," Fury nodded, "Let me know if anything happens."
"Got it," Shinji and Kaori both replied before they took off.
Later, Kaori was running through the streets, leaving gusts of wind in her trail.
'No idea why bro's so scared. I get that he wants to protect me, but he needs to trust me more that I can take care of myself,' Kaori thought to herself.
'You know I can hear you, right?' she heard Shinji point out.
'Way to ruin the mood, dude. You heard what I said right?'
'Yea, sorta. I am trusting you as of now, just be careful.'
'Gotcha, Nii-san,' Kaori nodded before taking off when everything started looking like it was moving slow around her again, "Just another average day. Are there any other heroes around here?"
As she moved around, running along the sides of the buildings, she looked and saw a figure in red and blue swinging in midair before deciding to follow that figure. She calculated where he might be headed, so she rushed on top of a nearby rooftop, the figure landing right in front of her before he stopped.
"Hi," Kaori waved, the figure standing up, surprised by her appearance, and got into a defensive stance.
"Just who might you be, ma'am?" the man asked, his outfit revealed to have a spider motif with spiders on his chest and back along with a web pattern on the red.
"Name's Kaori Tokugawa, and you?"
"Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, that's who I am. Are you a friend or foe?" Spider-Man demanded to know.
"Friend. You don't have anything to worry about me, I'm just here to help," Kaori shrugged off.
"Uh… you sure you aren't hitting on me? I've had a history of girls going out with me."
"What!? NO! We've only just met! And I only NOW just learned of you."
"Relax, I'm just kidding with ya," Spider-Man chuckled, earning him a quick jab to the arm from Kaori, "What? Was it something I said?"
"Not cool teasing me like that," Kaori answered.
"Sounds like you have no sense of humor. We'll need to help loosen you up a bit. Do you feel like having a go?" Spider-Man asked, getting into a fighting stance.
"Well, not like I got anything better to do. But heads up," Kaori started and warned as she suddenly disappeared before kicking Spider-Man in the back, "...and watch your back."
"Hey, looks like you got a funny bone after all," Spider-Man responded before he fired some web shots at Kaori, who dodged them all by leaning back, swinging her arms in a near pinwheel motion, as the webs slowly went past her while from Spider-Man's view it looked like she was making after images of herself while dodging before she teleported again.
Spider-Man then stopped, looking around at first before he heard a whirring sound and turned around to see Kaori come in. He quickly dodged her punch by leaning back before he used his hand to elevate himself and kick her in the gut, sending Kaori flying above him before he shot webbing at her and made a rope to swing her around. He continued to spin her rapidly in the air before sending her flying towards a nearby billboard. Thankfully, Kaori caught herself on the board before zooming back towards Spider-Man, and beginning to deliver lightning fast kicks in midair. Spider-Man dodged, but was having some trouble before Kaori began delivering surprise teleport punches and kicks, which quickly knocked him around for a bit until she stopped.
"Whew… that was… quite the challenge," Kaori admitted, "Hey, you okay Spidey?"
"Yea… I'm fine. You sure gave me a run for my money, Kaori. How'd you get so fast?"
"Freak accident. How about you?"
"Same here, radioactive spider on my part."
"Ooh, nasty. You got it easy, though… I was an old test subject at a lab and my brother and I had enough of that, so we broke out and started a new life here."
"Oh… sorry about that."
"It's all good," Kaori shrugged off with a smile before Spider-Man was punched in the back, Kaori seeing a large black figure with a large white spider on his chest, gasping a bit before the figure tried delivering a punch, which she teleported away from in response, "WHAT THE HELL?!"
"Well well, we've got the Spider… and some sort of track racer?" the figure replied, revealing himself to Spider-Man and Kaori.
"What's with big, black and fangy here?" Kaori asked in confusion.
"That my friend is Venom, we had some disputes over the years," Spider-Man explained as he got ready to defend himself before Venom jumped right at him, causing Spidey to jump away, "I gotta say, the more we fight each other, the more better I am at beating you."
"You still can't sense us, Spider. And we are stronger," Venom pointed out as he waved his claws around, Spider-Man dodging most of them.
"Why's he talkin' as if there's two or more of him?" Kaori wondered.
"It's because he's a man and an alien symbiote in one; two minds, one body. So technically there is more than one guy referring to himself."
Venom then knocked Spider-Man back into a nearby billboard, the black figure smirking before rushing in to try and attack Spider-Man again, only for Kaori to rush in and deliver a kick right to his jaw.
"Hands off the web-head," Kaori told Venom, who charged at him full speed and punched and kicked him faster than he could process, but to her, she was just delivering her attacks at normal while it looked like Venom was moving in slow motion.
After about 10 seconds and several hundred punches and kicks later, she double kicked Venom into the air before teleporting above him, and flip kick him down to the rooftop. Venom landed hard onto the roof, creating a cracked crater in it before Kaori teleported down safely next to Spider-Man.
"You okay?" Kaori asked.
"Yea… I think so. I've had worse blows dealt to me by that guy," Spider-Man answered before they heard Venom roar, causing them to get ready.
"Okay, how was he able to survive that?" Kaori asked in disbelief.
"Yea, these guys tend to get up from that like nothing. Now, you ready take him down again?" Spider-Man asked.
"You bet I am."
And with that, Kaori zoomed in to stall Venom long enough for Spider-Man to jump up and shoot his webs to tie him up, and he grabbed his web ropes and he began spinning Venom, letting Kaori essentially tenderize Venom with her lightning fast moves. He then pulled the web ropes and tossed Venom far from the rooftop they were on, sending him flying towards the nearby prison where Venom was at before Spider-Man raised his hand to Kaori and they gave each other a high five, cheering in victory.
"Nice job there, Kaori," Spider-Man smiled under his mask.
"Thanks, just doing what I can to help." Kaori smiled back, "Well, I'd better get going, I got other things to tend to. Nice meeting you, Spidey."
With that, Kaori zoomed off while Spider-Man just waved at her and began to swing away.
After her running, she eventually noticed it was nighttime, and she stopped for a moment.
'Hey, bro… can you hear me?' Kaori telepathically checked.
'Yea. I'm across town, yet somehow I'm hearin ya as if you're right next to me. That's new,' she heard Shinji in her head.
'Maybe our mental connection can reach further than we thought,' Kaori figured, 'Anyway, it was late and I just wanted to check and see how things were going on your side?'
'Let's just say I had some rocky start first day on the job. I managed to get some suits to help us out later on, and hopefully we can get back to the Helicarrier when Fury calls us.' Shinji replied.
'Right. I'll be sure to get there really fast when that happens,' Kaori smiled before she heard something behind her, feeling someone else is there, 'Hang on bro, I got something else to deal with right now. I'll contact you later, or I'll meet you back at the Helicarrier. Okay?'
'Got you,' Shinji responded as Kaori looked behind her, searching for the presence she felt before a figure landed on the floor in front of her, the figure being a man in a red spandex suit with two Ds on his chest, having small horns on his head, and his mask covering all but his mouth and nose.
"Akuma (Devil)?" Kaori questioned, not sure what's going on.
"Hmm… you seem innocent enough. Though I must wonder, seeing as you appear new here, who are you?" the figure asked.
"Kaori Tokugawa, what about you?" Kaori questioned.
"I'm called the Daredevil. I defend this city at night and protect the innocents that has suffered injustice," the man informed.
"That's cool. So what are you doing out here?"
"Out on patrol, handling crimes caused by the Kingpin and his mob," Daredevil answered, looking through a nearby window, "I can sense someone nearby. Behind the window; he can't see us at the moment, but we can't just walk through the front door because there are several guys inside, and they all have guns. Though some seem nervous, hearts pounding, breathing hard, their temperatures are rising in anxiety."
"Can I help? I could handle them within a few seconds flat," Kaori asked.
"...Perhaps… but be warned; I can tell that you're very young from the sound of your voice and your impatience with your tapping feet, but these guys mean serious business. Don't give them the chance to kill you, be swift, be silent and make sure you follow through. But don't kill them, we're only incapacitating them, nothing more," Daredevil instructed of Kaori, who nodded in response before preparing to enter.
Kaori than saw Daredevil climb up higher to the top of the building before he went to the rooftop window.
"So how are we gonna do this?" she asked, already on the rooftop.
"...Super speed, hmm… interesting. But there was no wind… teleportation, perhaps?" Daredevil hypothesized.
"That's right. The way you can sense things and describe them, it's almost like you're blind or something," Kaori figured.
"...Well, since we both have super powers, I suppose it's safe to inform you… yes, I am blind," Daredevil informed, "I can tell where you and others are by my hearing and sense of touch."
"That's cool. So… how do you think we're gonna do this?"
"Well, in order to handle this, we must take out the lights so that they won't be able to see us. Then, we have to be quick to take them all out and disarm them before they even realize we're right in front of them. Finally, we need to incapacitate them and send them to the police before their boss notices anything and then disappear. Understand?" Daredevil explained.
"Yes," Kaori nodded, getting ready as she teleported to a generator room to hide.
Daredevil had to sneak in through the ventilation system, peeking through an opening to see a group of mobsters dealing with money. Once he got an opening, he aimed his billy club at the light before shooting some darts out of it, causing the lights to shatter and flicker out, leaving the room in darkness and the mobsters started to panic, about to fire in random directions. However, this was Kaori's cue to zoom in and take all the guns away from them, causing them to panic once they noticed they had no guns before they were suddenly beaten up by Daredevil, Kaori joining in on the beatdown of the mobsters. Once they were all handled, Kaori made quick rounds with the incapacitated crooks, bringing them to the police station or to the nearest cop car before coming back to Daredevil.
"That went pretty well, didn't it?" Kaori smiled.
"Yes, it seems to be the case. You know… I-" Daredevil began before gasping, hearing something before pushing Kaori out of the way of a sniper shot which hit the wall closest to them, "Sorry. Bullseye's here."
"Sogeki (A sniper)?! ...Where is he?" Kaori asked, looking around before hearing a gun cock right behind her head.
"Right behind ya, sweet cheeks," she heard a rough Brooklyn accented voice respond behind her before she teleported away and then Daredevil knocked the sniper rifle out of his hands and kicked him outside.
This revealed the man to be a guy in a black suit with white accents, target cursors and a bullseye mark on the center of his mask.
"Well, Daredevil. We meet again," the man, revealed to be Bullseye, smirked as he prepared some guns before Daredevil rushed in with his billy club and knocked some out of his possession.
"You never learn, do you Bullseye," Daredevil scoffed as he decided to get up close to try and knock him out, but Bullseye managed to counter his punches and kicks before he kicked Daredevil in the chest, pulled out a couple pistols and prepared to shoot.
However, Kaori rushed in, kicking the guns out of Bullseye's hands before she kicked him in the face, flipping him onto the ground. Bullseye quickly got up, picked up one of his pistols and tried to shoot her, only for Kaori to lean back and dodge the bullets before one actually grazed her arm, causing her to fall down and wince in pain.
"Nice try, baby. But all my bullets hit their mark," Bullseye smirked.
"Well… you didn't get me IN the arm… it's just a scratch," Kaori panted before Daredevil came over and fired a rope out of his billy club, wrapping around Bullseye, before Daredevil flung the billy club tossed it over a streetlamp above him and pulled it down, hoisting Bullseye up.
"Nice," Kaori smiled, holding her arm.
"Thanks kid," Daredevil smiled, helping her up, "I'd better get you to a hospital to have that treated real quick."
"Nah, I'll just go to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s sick bay in the Helicarrier; they can handle it,"
"As I was saying, I feel that you have great potential to be an amazing hero one day," Daredevil told her.
"Uh, hello?! I'm still here!" Bullseye shouted in annoyance.
"...Leave him for the cops?" Kaori checked to make sure.
"Yes, leave him for the cops." Daredevil confirmed as the two walked away, leaving Bullseye hanging.
Later, Kaori was back in sick bay on the Helicarrier, a medic tending to her graze and managing to stitch it together.
"Thanks for the help there, doc. I didn't think it was that bad," Kaori said to the doctor.
"It wasn't, but it can get worse with time if not treated properly. It's a good thing you managed to get here in time," the medic informed her, Kaori getting off the bed and testing to see if her arm was okay, stretching it for a moment.
"Yep, all good."
"You'd better go check on your brother, he's been wondering if you were okay. And from the looks of him, he's in pretty bad shape," the medic informed, Kaori nodding before she walked out of sick bay.
'Yo bro? You okay? Where are you now?' Kaori checked with her twin telepathically.
'I'm just about to check back with Fury after my wounds are treated. And trust me, you don't wanna know what happened to me,' Shinji told Kaori before the two managed to bump into each other in the hallway.
"What a coincidence, same here, though I only got one little graze right here," Kaori responded, pointing to the stitched up area of her arm.
"Lucky you and your speed," Shinji sighed, Kaori noticing his right arm all bandaged up and some stitches on his face.
"Ooh… nasty," Kaori winced as they kept looking at each other, "Maybe I don't wanna know what happened."
"Yea," Shinji nodded as they arrived at Fury's office.
TB: Okay, this is where we'll stop. Sorry, everyone but this is where Kaori's point of view ends and next chapter will focus on what Shinji did on his side of things.
KKD: Yea. I mean, this story focuses on two characters; gotta give both sides equal chance.
TB: You're taking this abrupt ending rather well, KKD.
KKD: Hey, these are characters I kinda created. I'd understand that situation.
TB: Fair enough. Anyway, this featured more cameos from other Marvel heroes, much like Animal.
KKD: Yea, we not only got a Spider-Man cameo, one I personally liked to see, but also a Daredevil cameo, which is oddly relevant because Daredevil now has an exclusive Netflix series.
TB: Are you gonna see it?
KKD: Not sure. But enough about that, we got favs to bring up.
TB: Right. Well, I liked Kaori fighting with Spider-Man and Daredevil against their respective enemies. We not only get to see the heroes in action, but Kaori gets to show off her powers while fighting.
KKD: Yea, that was my favorite part, too. Who could go wrong with Spider-Man… aside from Sam Raimi fans hating Marc Webb's Spidey.
TB: There's nothing wrong with both versions, but haters gonna hate.
KKD: Yea. Well anyway, we got other fish to fry, so until next time, this has been KKD Silver…
TB: As well as the Lone Rider, TokuBrony, signing off.
KKD: Jaa ne!
TB: SEIYAA!
