Hey guys, this is our second chapter. Please let us know what you think in a review. Thanks

Chapter Two: The first day

The alarm woke Riley up the next day, and admitted a sleepy groan from Lydia. Quickly, so as not to disturb her, Riley turned her alarm off, plugged her phone into her wand, and headed to the bathroom. She brushed her teeth and took a hot, long shower, you know the kind where you just stand under spray and think about life. When she was done, she quickly wrap a towel around herself so Lydia could use the bathroom. When Lydia closed the door she changed into robes. I wish I could wear my Doctor Who shirt, she thought remorsefully.

She open her trunk and grab her pencil case and backpack. She stuffed her textbooks, her vet book, and her pencil case into her backpack. Riley looked in her trunk one last time to make sure she wasn't forgetting anything.

Shit, I almost forgot my ADHD medication, she scolded herself. She put her patch on, grabbed her red clad journal and stuffed it in her backpack. As she put her bag on she unplugged her phone from her wand, tucked into her pocket, put her scarf on, and grabbed her wand.

Hmm, should I take Strawberry, she thought as she looked at her snake, Well, I do like to torment Mia and the other Slytherins might like her. Riley opened the top of the terrarium and got Strawberry out. She was all set to go.

"Riley, you forgot to do your hair," said Lydia.

"Whoops." Riley quickly did her hair. Then Lydia and Riley walked to the Great Hall together, in hopes of finding Mia.

Mia's alarm went off at seven a.m sharp.

"Turn that blasted thing off!" yelled Millie from her bed.

"Yeah, we're trying to sleep, you stupid American!" said Daphne.

Mia pulled the curtains aside and fumbled with her phone for a couple minutes before finally turning the alarm off. She sighed, disconnected her phone from her wand, and rolled out of bed. Out of habit, she checked it for messages, even though she knew that even if she had any, she wouldn't have gotten them yet.

She rolled out of bed and saw that Pansy was also up.

"Those two like getting up at the last minute," Pansy informed Mia.

"Right then," said Mia, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, "I'll just keep my phone in bed with me and use a silencing charm."

"That might work."

The two girls fell back into silence. Mia pulled her uniform out of her trunk and set it on her bed. She also took out her fluffy blue bathrobe that had the RedVines logo all over it. She stripped, pulled on her robe, and placed her dirty clothes in the small basket next to her bed that she hadn't noticed before.

"How does this work?" she asked.

"Oh," said Pansy, "Every Saturday, the house elves come around and take everyone's dirty clothing, wash it, and return it neatly folded to the owner's trunk."

"Say, that's pretty nifty," said Mia, "We have to do our laundry with a washing machine back home."

"Washing machine?"

"Yeah. America doesn't have a school for witchcraft and wizardry. I mean there are some online courses, but Riley and I were home schooled. My mother taught us actually, since Riley's a muggleborn."

"You're friends with a… muggleborn? A muggleborn Hufflepuff?"

"Well yeah. We've known each other for ages. She's my best friend."

"Still. A muggleborn?"

"No one really cares in America. Muggleborn, half-blood, pureblood, it doesn't matter. I'm a half-blood, in case you're wondering. Mother's a witch, Dad's a muggle. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take my shower now."

Mia walked into the bathroom, hung her robe on the hook outside of her claimed stall, placed her wand in the pocket, and turned on the water. After quickly washing her hair and her face, she turned off the water and used a quick drying spell that dried every inch of her body except her hair. She was picky about her hair.

After slipping into her robe, she went over to the sink where she brushed her teeth and did her hair. She went out to her bed and dressed herself in the black skirt and white button down shirt. She slipped on the green and silver striped tie and pulled on her long black wizarding robes. By the time she was pulling on her socks, Millie and Daphne were waking up. She smirked when she saw that they only had five minutes to get ready, and hurriedly laced up her black boots.

She shoved her laptop and phone into her bag and checked to make sure she had everything. She shouldered her bag and strode out of her dorm room, knowing that she could come back before class started to grab the books she would need.

When she reached the end of the long hall and stepped into the common room, she saw that almost everyone had left for breakfast, however, Pansy and two other boys were still there. Mia was surprised when she saw that one of the boys was the blonde fellow that Harry Potter had been eyeing the night before.

"Haberdasher," Pansy sneered, "Finally. You take ages."

"You were up before me. And I didn't know you were waiting."

"Of course I was waiting. Believe it or not, I'm a nice person," the two boys sniggered. Pansy glared at them, "I am. Anyway, I know you're new, so I figured I could welcome you into my crowd before you fall into the wrong one."

Mia smiled, "Thanks."

"Well," said the blonde boy as they walked out of the common room and up towards the Great Hall, "Since it seems that Pansy isn't going to introduce us, I will. I'm Draco Malfoy, and that's Blaise Zabini."

"Charmed," Mia said.

"Oh, and don't forget Crabbe and Goyle," said Blaise.

"Oh, yes. They're up at the Great Hall, they don't like waiting," Draco explained to Mia.

Mia smiled politely, all the while thinking, Blaise? Draco? Crabbe? Goyle? She really was the only one with a normal name.

They were just about to walk into the Great Hall, when someone rushed by Mia, bumping into her and knocking her over.

"Hey!" she cried.

"Oi, Potter," said Draco, "Watch where you're going."

The boy who ran into her turned around. Mia inwardly gasped when she saw that it was the great Harry Potter. She turned to look at her new friends and saw that they were glaring at him. She picked herself up, dusted herself off and narrowed her eyebrows.

"Well?" she said, "Are you going to apologize?"

Potter, who was staring at Draco, blinked and then looked at Mia.

"Er, no offense, but who are you?"

"Geez, Potter," said Draco, drawing Potter's attention back to him, "Were you not paying attention last night at the feast? She's one of the transfer students, if you can't tell by her accent. I shouldn't be surprised, though, someone as pigheaded as you wouldn't have noticed, too absorbed in your own little world."

"Oh," said Potter, "Er. Sorry, then."

"Apology accepted," Mia flashed him a brief smile and strode past him with the rest of her new Slytherin friends. They sat down at the Slytherin table next to two large boys that must have been Crabbe and Goyle.

After proper introductions, Mia looked up to see her owl, a brown elf owl with large yellow eyes named Wash, swoop into the Great Hall and drop a single envelope on her table.

"Strange," said Pansy, "Mail is never delivered this early. It's usually delivered after breakfast."

"Wash knows I like to read my mail while I eat. I wasn't expecting anything this early in the year, though. I wonder what it is."

"Probably your schedule," said Blaise through a mouthful of eggs, "It will be the same as ours."

Mia opened the envelope. It was her schedule.

Mia grinned when she saw that she had a couple classes with Riley.

"Thank you, Wash," she said to her owl, and fed him some crust from her toast. He hooted, and flew away, probably back to the owlery.

Mia folded her schedule neatly and tucked it into her pocket. She fixed herself a cup of tea, and was about to drink it when she saw Riley and another Hufflepuff with dark short hair walk into the hall.

"Excuse me for a second," she said as she stood up and walked over to Riley, taking her tea with her.

Riley looked up to see her best friend walking towards her.

"Heya, Riley," said Mia.

"Hey Mia. Lydia, this is my friend that I was telling you about," said Riley, nudging Lydia, "Mia, this is Lydia."

"It's nice to meet you," said Lydia.

"Likewise," said Mia, shaking her hand, "Anyway, I just got my schedule. We have Potions, Care for Magical Creatures, Muggle Studies, Astronomy, and Ancient Runes together."

"How do you know? I haven't gotten my schedule yet," said Riley.

"Look it says," said Mia, pointing out all the places it said 'with Hufflepuff' on her schedule.

"Huh," said Riley, "That's pretty neat."

"Yeah. So how are you settling in to the Hufflepuff common room?"

"It's pretty nice. Our dorm is like a Hobbit hole! Also, look who I have with me," Riley said, holding Strawberry up and out towards Mia's face, smiling.

"Oh my wizard god!" Mia shrieked in horror and jumped away from her best friend, "Riley! Get it away from me! Away!"

"She won't hurt you, Mia," Riley said, holding back her laughter.

"Doesn't matter, I want it away from my body," demanded Mia.

Riley laughed, but gave in, and let Strawberry coil up around her arm underneath the sleeve of her robe.

Mia grinned in gratitude, "Thank you. Anyway, our house is in the dungeons. Underneath the lake. If you look outside the window, you will see fish."

"That's so cool. Ours is next to the kitchens. I was thinking that we could make chocolate waffles one day."

"Oh, yes!" exclaimed Mia, "Maybe this Saturday."

"Oh, no, on Saturday, we go to Hogsmeade," said Lydia.

"Oh, yeah, I heard about that," said Riley, "Don't they have the best candy store in the wizard world?"

"Yeah," said Lydia, "And they have this really neat joke shop. Except, if you really want good pranks, you have to ask Fred and George Weasley. They have some amazing things."

"Really," Mia gave Riley a side glance. Riley grinned back at her.

"We'll keep that in mind," said Riley, "Hey Mia?"

"Yes?"

"I'm hungry," Riley said.

"Go eat breakfast," said Mia, "I'll see you in potions."

"What? No come sit with us," Riley insisted.

"No, I don't think they would like that. Besides all of my things are at the Slytherin table, and I don't want to abandon Pansy and the rest. I'll see you in potions."

With that, Mia and Riley went their separate ways, Mia going back to her new friends, and Riley going to sit with hers.

Riley went back to her table and was called over by Lydia who was waving at her. She sat down near the end of the table with Lydia and three other Hufflepuffs.

"Man oh man, am I starving," Riley said as she loaded her plate with eggs, biscuits, and sausage. Lydia smiled and everyone began eating.

"Riley this is Hannah Abbot, Justin Finch-Fletchley, and Ernie Macmillan," said Lydia gesturing to the other Hufflepuffs. Riley nodded in return because her mouth was full.

"Hello," Riley said at last.

"Hello," said the other Hufflepuffs.

"Hoot," said an owl. Riley glanced up and at her tawny owl Castiel, that was sitting on her head. He handed Riley her an envelope. She opened it, it was her schedule.

*Note that curfew is at ten p.m.*

"Hey guys breakfast is almost over," Lydia said.

"We should get going," said Riley. Riley stood and Castiel flew off, probably to find Wash. Riley grabbed her backpack and made sure she had her phone, wand, and that Strawberry was safe and comfortable on her arm. Then the five Hufflepuffs made there way to the dungeons.

When breakfast was over, Mia ran down to her room to grab her Potions, Transfiguration, and Care for Magical Creatures textbooks. She ran out of the Slytherin common room and down one of the many hallways in the Dungeons where she caught up with Riley and the other Hufflepuffs.

"Hey," she said to Riley when she had finally caught up.

"Hey, Mia," said Riley, "Oh, this is Justin, Ernie, and Hannah," she said gesturing.

"And I'm Pansy," came a voice from behind. Pansy came up and linked her arm through Mia's.

"Nice to meet you, Pansy," said Riley.

"Yes, it is," said Pansy.

"Oh, hey, Mia, there's that blonde that Harry Potter was making goo goo eyes at the other night," said Riley, pointing at Draco, "Wait, he's in your house? Do you know him?"

"Yeah," said Pansy, "That's Draco Malfoy. Wait a minute. You've noticed it too?"

"Noticed what?" asked Mia.

"That Potter is crazy for Draco Malfoy. And Draco's just as crazy for him, too. He just won't do anything about it," said Pansy.

"Why?" asked Riley.

"They were childhood enemies. They claim to hate each other. However, Granger, Collins, and I disagree, don't we, Collins."

"I ship them," Lydia confirmed.

"We're having a sleepover this Friday night in the Room of Requirement. You should come," drawled Pansy, "I mean, I was going to drag you along, anyway, Mia. Silverstein should come along."

"How do you know my last name?" asked Riley.

"Unlike some people, I payed attention at the ceremony instead of goofing off."

By now the four were in the Potions classroom. Mia and Riley sat next to each other, and Lydia and Pansy sat at the table in front of them. Draco and Blaise were behind Mia and Riley.

Professor Snape strolled into the room, his long robes flowing elegantly behind him, his greasy black hair pulled back in a scrunchie.

"Class," he began, "Today we shall start by brewing a simple Pepper-up potion. I know this is third year knowledge, however, it will soon be cold season, so we need to stock up, and third years are rather prone to messing these sort of things. The potion is rather tedious to make, being that it takes over an hour and a half to complete, so you shouldn't be done half way through class. The recipe is in your book on page 47. Your ingredients are on your table. You may begin."

Mia began to chop up the mandrake root while Riley got the fire started and the water boiling.

"Gently, Gently, Gently, Gently. Make love to it, don't fuck it," said Riley.

"Oh, for goodness sakes," said Mia rolling her eyes.

"Ah, I see you are a fan of my cousin's work," drawled Professor Snape. Both girls snapped their head up to see Snape peering down his rather large nose at them, "Ten points to Slytherin."

"What?" sputtered Riley.

"Why?" asked Mia.

Snape didn't answer as he strode over to inspect Draco and Blaises cauldron.

"Just- just add the octopus powder," said Mia to Riley, who was silently fuming.

"That fucking donkey," Riley muttered under her breath. Strawberry peaked her head out of her sleeve.

Soon the potion was ready to be taken off the fire and put in the small crystal vials that had been supplied.

They filled the five vials and labeled them clearly, 'Pepper-Up Potion'.

"Ah, I see you are done," said Snape, "Let me check your work." He uncorked one of the vials and studied it. After taking a quick sniff, he closed the vial and gathered up the rest of them.

"Very good," he said, "Ten points to Slytherin. Oh, and five points to Hufflepuff, I suppose."

"He's very prejudiced," explained Mia meekly when she saw that Riley was fuming.

"I couldn't tell," snapped Riley, "I swear, if he wasn't a teacher I would so kick his ass."

"A Hufflepuff with a mean streak," came Draco's voice from behind, "I can die in peace now that I've seen everything. What is it with you two. Silverstein has a mean streak and Haberdasher is actually polite and courteous?"

"We're both a little sweet and salty," explained Riley, "However, I'm more salty, and she's more sweet. I just seem more salty now because your Head of House pissed me off."

Draco would have replied, however, their attention was called to the front of the room by Professor Snape.

"Eleven inches describing how the ingredients work together to form a working potion is due by this Friday. Yes, I know that we don't have class again this week, so that means you will have to take responsibility and turn it into the mailbox by my office, which is just across the hall. Class is dismissed on the bell."

When the bell rang Riley and Mia hurried to the Great Hall for lunch. They were meeting up with Lydia and Pansy, who were dragging along some of their other friends. When they arrived at the Great Hall, they saw Lydia standing and waving to them. Riley and Mia calmly walked over to find Blondie and Harry Potter glaring at each other.

"Hey Lydia, hey Pansy," Mia and Riley both said.

"Hey Blondie," said Riley to Draco. A kid with red hair sitting next to Harry laughed.

"Riley, Mia, this is Logan, Hermione, Harry, Ron, and Ron's two brothers, Fred and George," said Lydia who was sitting next to, the blond Ravenclaw with glass, Logan.

"And you two already met him, but I will introduce him anyway, this is Draco," continued Pansy.

Draco nodded stiffly, then turned his attention to the food that had just appeared on the table.

Mia and Riley looked down to see that lunch was their favorite meal. Mia had mac and cheese with dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets, oatmeal raisin cookies, and cherry limeade to drink. Riley had a very similar meal of mac and cheese with crispy chicken, chocolate fudge brownies, and a tall glass of lemonade.

"HELL YEAH!" exclaimed Riley.

"Americans," Pansy sniffed and rolled her eyes as she took a bite of her turkey and swiss on rye, "For goodness sakes, Haberdasher, do you make it a habit of playing with your food?"

"Only when they're dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets."

"Yeah, the house elves pay very close attention to detail," said Logan.

"House elves?" asked Riley, "I didn't know Hogwarts had house elves." She began to dig around in her bookbag, looking for her post-it notes. When she found them, she clicked her purple pen and wrote in big block letters 'THANK YOU I LOVED IT' and stuck it on the underside of her plate. Just after she finished eating, the plate disappeared, and Strawberry climbed down to her hand.

Harry and Draco both perked up with interest when they saw the albino corn snake.

"SSssssSSSSss SssssSSss," hissed Harry.

Strawberry blinked and turned her head towards Harry. She hissed and Harry laughed.

"You're snake has a very… interesting sense of humor," he told Riley, "I would never repeat what she just said in polite company."

Draco was looking at Harry like he had hung the moon in the sky himself. Malfoy, you kinky bastard, thought Mia when she saw this. Who knew Parseltongue would be a turn on?

Riley laughed and said, "Hmm wonder where she learned her sense of humor," obviously referring to herself.

Harry just laughed, and was about to say something else when the girl with bushy brown hair turned and asked him a question. He was distracted by her, and that gave Fred and George the perfect opportunity to butt in.

"Hello," said Fred.

"We have a proposition," said George.

"We'd really appreciate it if you'd-"

"Help us out with this project see-"

"We're testing out this product of ours-"

"And we were wondering if you knew a good place-"

"Where we could put it-"

"So that everybody would be affected by it."

Mia tilted her head, and Riley scrunched her nose.

"Why not put it in the door to the Great Hall," suggested Riley.

Fred and George looked at each other. "Brilliant," George said.

"Why didn't we think of that?" Fred wondered.

They both stood up and rushed towards the entrance to the Great Hall. Mia saw them slap something blue and round on the wall as they rushed out the door, but it faded into the wall.

Riley and Mia turned their attention back to the people that were still there.

"Oh, yeah," they heard Logan say, "I'm still working on that, but by tomorrow night, Hogwarts will not only have cell service, but wifi."

"You're hooking up the wifi?" asked Riley.

"Yeah," said Logan, "I'm pretty alright with the technology stuff."

"Sweet," said Riley, "I can return to my tumblr blog."

Soon lunch was over, and with a pop, the plates disappeared. It was now their study hall.

"Come on," said Lydia, "Let's go work on the potions essay in the library."

Mia, Pansy, and Riley followed her to the library. The library was huge, full of book shelves that contained books of every genre, wizard and muggle. There were several large tables off to the side, and Riley, Lydia, Pansy, and Mia chose to sit at the one farthest to the left.

"Where are Draco and Blaise?" asked Mia.

"Probably in the common room, putting off their essays, as usual," said Pansy.

After their free period was over, Riley went to Charms, and Mia went to Transfiguration, both of which they found particularly boring. Riley had Charms with the Gryffindors, and she would have talked with the Golden Trio, however, Ron and Hermione were too absorbed in each other, and Harry was talking with Strawberry all of charms.

Their next class was together, and that class was Care for Magical Creatures outside with Hagrid.

The class was small, not many students had signed up to take it. However, it was an interesting class and they learned a great deal about Thestrals.

"When do we get to meet the griffins and hippogriffs?" Riley asked Hagrid.

"Well," he said in his deep gruff voice, "We already studied them briefly in third year, however, this year, we will be going into a deeper study on both of them."

"YAY!"

"Sir, what about Jigglypuffs?" asked Mia, smiling inwardly. Riley nudged her in her side and gave her a look, however it didn't stop Hagrid from asking,

"What are Jigglypuffs?"

"Jigglypuffs are a breed of pokemon. They are round and pink with blue eyes and have rubbery balloon like skin and can inflate themselves. They use their eyes to mesmerise opponents and then lull them sleep while they escape," explained Mia smirking. She tried to ignore Riley's glare, and couldn't help but grin when she heard Riley's sigh of defeat. Riley pulled out a pokemon card with a picture of a jigglypuff.

Hagrid looked interested, and slightly confused, "I have never heard of them before. They are Pokemon? What are Pokemon?"

This time Riley answered, knowing that Mia didn't know Pokemon as well as she did, "Pokemon are types of monsters with special abilities, you can catch them by using pokeballs." She pulled out a picture of a pokeball for Hagrid to see.

Hagrid took the picture and peered at it very carefully, "I've never seen these before. Does the Ministry know of them?"

"Oh, I don't know sir," said Mia.

"I think they're just an American thing," said Riley.

"Well, in case you didn't know, we're going to be studying things that are found in Europe. However, I wouldn't mind learning more about these Pokemon things."

"Oh, I'm sure you can find plenty of information in the library," said Mia, "They have muggle books in the library, right?" she whispered to Riley.

"Yeah, but I don't know if they have anything on Pokemon."

"Well, we can always find something on the internet, once Logan gets the wifi working," said Mia, "Of course, we don't have a printer."

"I can just show him on my phone," whispered Riley.

Just then the bell rang telling them class was over. They had some free time before dinner, so Riley and Mia decided to hang out in the Slytherin common room so the others could meet Strawberry.

When the reached the large doors to the common room, Mia turned to Riley and told her to stick her fingers in her ear and sing a note really loudly while she said the password. Riley of course agreed, even if she did feel a little ridiculous.

"Ambrosia," said Mia, and the doors swung open, "After you."

"Wow," said Riley, "OH MY WIZARD GOD YOU HAVE LEATHER COUCHES." She ran over to the couch and flopped on to it.

"WHAT IS A HUFFLEPUFF DOING IN THE SLYTHERIN COMMON?" shouted a very irritated Daphne.

"Calm your tits, you fucking donkey," said Riley from the leather couch, surprising calm.

"She's my bestest bff forever, so get used to it," said Mia.

"You going to stand for this, Parkinson?" asked Daphne when she saw Pansy walk in the room.

"What? Silverstein? Nah. She's cool. For a Hufflepuff," said Pansy, smirking when Daphne stomped her foot and stormed off in anger.

When Daphne left Strawberry peaked her head out of Riley's sleeve.

"You didn't like the mean donkey did you?" cooed Riley. All of a sudden they heard this high pitched squeal. In came Draco Malfoy.

"You brought Strawberry!" he gushed excitedly. Mia shuddered. Riley shook her at Mia and rolled her eyes.

"Would you like to hold her?" Riley offered.

"Really?!" replied Draco.

"Yeah," said Riley. She offered Strawberry to Draco, who took her from Riley, surprisingly gentle.

Draco squealed again, sounding just like a young school girl. He watched with glee as Strawberry started winding her way up and around his arms.

Soon the short time they had before dinner was up. Strawberry was put back in her terrarium, and they went up to the Great Hall.

Dinner started off normally, Mia sitting at the Slytherin table, and Riley sitting at the Hufflepuff table. However, halfway through, there was a sudden commotion as a redheaded girl from the Gryffindor table stood up and climbed on top of the table.

Music came from nowhere, and two young ghosts appeared, one of them being Moaning Myrtle. The redhead started singing.

You are the girl that I've been dreaming of

Ever since I was a little girl

You are the girl that I've been dreaming of

Ever since I was a little girl

She began to dance, and the ghosts began to dance along, singing the back up.

One!

I'm biting my tongue

Two!

He's kissing on you

Three!

Oh, why can't you see?

One! Two! Three! Four!

Cries of 'Go Ginny!' began to fill the hall and encouraged the redhead, Ginny, to dance even harder.

Word's on the streets and it's on the news:

I'm not gonna teach him how to dance with you

He's got two left feet and he bites my moves

I'm not gonna teach him how to dance, dance, dance, dance!

The second I do, I know we're gonna be through

I'm not gonna teach him how to dance with you

He don't suspect a thing, I wish he'd get a clue

I'm not gonna teach him how to dance, dance, dance, dance!

You are the girl that I've been dreaming of

Ever since I was a little girl

You are the girl that I've been dreaming of

Ever since, ever since

Mia looked over at the Gryffindor table to see that even though most of the Gryffindors were laughing and dancing along, Ron and Harry seemed mortified. Mia realized that Ron must be the girl's brother, they both had the same flaming red hair, and Harry obviously knew Ginny well enough to be as mortified as Ron.

One!

I'm biting my tongue

Two!

He's kissing on you

Three!

Oh, why can't you see?

One! Two! Three! Four!

Word's on the streets and it's on the news:

I'm not gonna teach him how to dance, dance, dance, dance!

All the students were dancing by now. Even a couple of the teachers joined in.

One

You're biting my tongue

Two!

I'm kissing on you

Three!

Is he better than me?

One! Two! Three! Four!

Word's on the streets and it's on the news:

I'm not gonna teach him how to dance with you

He's got two left feet and he bites my moves

I'm not gonna teach him how to dance, dance, dance, dance!

Oh! Dodododododododo dance, dance, dance, dance

Oh! Dodododododododo dance, dance, dance, dance

Oh! Dodododododododo dance, dance, dance, dance

Oh! Dodododododododo dance, dance, dance, dance

Dance, dance, dance, dance, dance!

At the end of the song, Mia looked over at the Gryffindor table again and saw Fred and George high five. She grinned. This must have been what they were testing.

Soon dinner was drawn to an end, and everyone went back to their house. Everyone except for Mia. She was dragged by Riley to the Hufflepuff common room.

"Put your fingers in your ears and sing," said Riley when they were standing in front of a brick wall.

"No, are you crazy? I'll look ridiculous," said Mia.

"You made me do it," said Riley.

"And you looked ridiculous."

Riley tilted her head and frowned. Mia grinned sheepishly and did as she was told. She stuck her fingers in her ears and began to sing loudly, "OH OH I WANT SOME MORE OH OH WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? TAKE A BITE OF MY HEART TONIGHT. OH OH, I WANT SOME MORE OH OH, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? SAY GOODBYE TO MY HEART TONIGHT."

"Tor-tor-tortellini." Riley said the password and began to shake Mia. However, Mia kept singing, very loudly, and very off key. Then Riley pushed her into the Hufflepuff common room. Mia smirked and stopped singing, then stopped and stared wide eyed at the room displayed before her.

"OH MY WIZARD GOD, YOU HAVE BEANBAG CHAIRS!" she exclaimed and immediately ran over and fell back on one. A crowd of Hufflepuffs gathered and looked slightly worried and very confused.

"I KNOW ISN'T IT GREAT!" exclaimed Riley and flopped down beside her.

"I'm just going to steal one of these," muttered Mia as she curled up in a little ball.

"In order to do so, you must go through an entire musical number," said Riley, "Like in Aladdin."

"Aladdin was a douche," said Mia.

"Then why was he the hero of the story?"

"He wasn't. Jafar was."

"What on earth are you on about, Mia?"

"StarKid."

Riley rolled her eyes. "For goodness sakes," she said, "I don't understand your crazy references."

"Lauren Lopez is my future wife," muttered Mia.

"Are you falling asleep?" asked Riley, concerned.

Mia nodded. "Millie snores like a pig giving birth," she said.

Lydia, who had just walked into the conversation, gave Mia the strangest look.

"She says things whens she's tired. One time she was at this thing with one of her muggle friends back in America, and they were bored, so they wanted to play games. They started out with truth or dare, but that got boring. So then Mia suggested strip poker, and the guy next to them just turned and said, 'What?' because she was like a freshmen, and he was like a senior, and freshmen shouldn't know how to play strip poker. She wouldn't have suggested it either if she wasn't so exhausted."

"You do strange things too," muttered Mia.

"Oh yeah? Like what?"

"You do this crazy little dance every time your OTP interacts on Supernatural."

"That, my friend, is the life of the fangirl."

"Whatever."

"You watch Supernatural?" asked Lydia. Riley nodded. "So do I," she continued, "I'm guessing our OTP is Destiel."

"Yes, they are my babies." Mia snorted and Riley kicked her lightly, "Hey, you have your babies too. What about Darren Criss and Chris Colfer?"

"They are too precious for this world. Darren Criss is supermegafoxyawesomehot, and Chris Colfer has the looks of a god and their voices," Mia grinned and snuggled deeper into the beanbag.

"Okay, lets get you to bed, Mia," said Riley. She helped Mia stand, and walked with her out of the Hufflepuff common room and down to the dungeons where she wished Mia a good night.

Within the next fifteen minutes, Mia had cleaned her teeth, set her alarm, and was fast asleep, deep in a dreamless slumber.

Riley also brushed her teeth, changed, plugged in her phone and set the alarm, and climbed into bed. She was asleep by the time her head hit the pillow.

Well that was fun. Leave us a review please and hopefully we'll have our next chapter up soon
