Kushina's eyes were wide as she let the scene of her son slip into her heart. Meanwhile Naruto felt his chest beating hard in his mom's presence. Anxiety had fabricated up for years. Years of unknown failed into a pit that bottled up into his mind, all piled up to this point. Without knowing why, his hands shook worse than ever, maybe it was another dream. Quickly shaking these terrible thoughts from his mind.

The moon shined down on them, the air was thin. A bright crystalline snow had started falling, fine enough to befall, but invisible save for the bright moonlight, plays that show themselves gentle flurries. Feeling his heart swell as he felt his throat chock, as a gentle breeze graced against his cheek.

Kushina observed her son, finally seeing his eyes again, an abundance she had yearned for. Nothing casted her the smile the way he did, leasing joy to fill her heart, so familiar and yet so unknown, as it was for years. In no time they rushed towards each other. Kushina felt tears run down her cheeks as she crashed against her son. Her arms wrapped like a shield around her one and only son. She kept her arms desperately tight around him, as nothing would ever break her away from him. Warmth washed over her as she finally had him in her grasp. No one in the world would ever tear her from him again. She would scorch the earth before she allowed anything to happen. Keeping her son in her warmth, her fingers seeping around him with every breath she had. All the years had vanished, but she had him finally, never as blissful as now.

Naruto kept his body pressed to her, letting her love surround him and take hold. The snow came down on them as both lost time, their clothes becoming drenched. Grasping each other tightly, holding like nothing else mattered. Their fingers pressed close fitting into each other's embrace, their breath warm on the other's cheek. Kushina pressed her head into his as the agony drifted in waves. All the death and pain was sunken. The world dissipated, all their problems and worries were sunk, faded as the light snow became worse.

Naruto didn't mind staying here with her arms around him forever. Searching for years he wouldn't let another thought break him from her. After years of death and pain seeping into their skin, they finally found each other. Everything became a blur for minutes they held each other, not a single word spoken. That memorable sensation both felt as no one else knew.

"It's you mom." Naruto finally said with exceeding joy.

"It's me honey." She said with a bright smile as tears ran from eyes. "I have you. I finally have my son in my arms." She declared a bright grin on her face as she gripped her son.

Among the glee Naruto couldn't quite understand how she was present. "How are you here?" He asked confused.

"I don't know how, but that doesn't matter. All that matters is I'm here and I never want to let you go, ever again. I've always wanted to be there and now I want you to stay close to me, wrapped around my embrace." She declared with craving.

He was completely open to the idea. "Ok mom." And so they did, the two kept themselves pressed to the other in the darkness. The cold icy snow stamping against the ground and the roofs.

His voice broke her thoughts. "I never forgot about you." he whispered as Kushina was the woman on his mind. His voice made her head feel light.

"Me neither and now we will always have each other." Her hand lightly moved up to his face wanting this moment to last forever. Without movement he let her touch him, their was an unknown in the air, he didn't quite know why. Her hand pressed against his cheek, feeling him, warm to the touch as their eyes met. She had a certain presence that seemed to swallow all else.

"You're so strong and grown up just like your father." Her voice was precise but gentle, soothing and soft. She took a step closer, every moment seemed to stretch. Her eyes met his and he felt his breath slip from his lungs, her eyes mesmerizing.

After minutes of nothing but silence they finally moved back. They kept their hands entangled, smiling. Standing back he got a good look of her. There she was, no longer a dream or an illusion that manifested in the night. But her. Only what he found was not what he expected. He stood studying her, her eyes almost meeting his. In his shocked state he realized, she was beautiful, radiant even. While he stood, she crept closer. As she drew near his eyes failed to recall anything but her. "I'm so happy Naruto." She told.

"Me too Mom."

"You have to tell me everything, I want to hear every mission, every single day of my son's life and don't leave out any details." The two shared a bright smile and disembarked finally, as they moved down the streets Naruto couldn't contain his glee as he told his mother countless stories of battles and achieving wins against foes. It warmed her heart as she listened, she heeded of how much he trained, how many missions he achieved and how strong he was. These stories were the bright warmth in her heart. Always a worry had perspired that he would be alone forever. Yet Naruto worked and trained to become a hero of the village.

As they went a constant thought crept into her mind, believing how evil she was to leave her son with a demon inside of him was tearing her apart. She couldn't keep it bottled up any longer. "Naruto?" she came to a halt, her eyes on his. Naruto stopped beside her.

"Yeah, mom. What is it?" He asked.

"How was it?" she spoke gently. "Life with the demon. I knew it must have been hard on you." Naruto breath slowed for a moment. He didn't want this joy from the day to go just as it came, he sought to keep feeling his enjoyment in his heart.

Kushina felt an urge and grabbed him again holding him close. "I'm sorry I can't help it."

"It's ok mom." The word caused her to squeeze him harder. As they hugged there for minutes on end Naruto finally realized he had been in the icy snow for several hours. Kushina noticed she was shaking as well her son was beginning to shake from the cold. He remained out in the freezing rain then snow all day, and worse wore barely anything against the frozen wind. "We need to get out of this snow." Only the apartment was on the other side of the village and the weather was only getting worse as the winds picked up slamming against the two.
