I do not own Warhammer 40k or Fullmetal alchemist

First, sorry for a mistake in the last chapter where I said that Slaanesh had an interest in Ed do to his soul partially because to quote the last chapter

"It was a type soul which she/he had not had the pleasure of tasting for the first time in millennia as it shown age the like of which all but one other living Aeldari could offer".

This was hinting at Eldrad Ulthran do to him being the oldest Aeldari alive during this time period, but it was a mistake as I forgot about Jain Zar who although not as old was born before the fall.

Second, I stated that Slaanesh had the torment of the Aeldari at the forefront of her/his mind. This is false as the great game is where the majority of the Chaos god's attention is at only largely changing when someone like the emperor comes about.

Both these things will be edited after I upload this chapter. If I make similar mistakes please notify me as I want this to be accurate, I have started finding excerpts from books such as Asurmen: Hand of Asuryan, Throneworld, and others to try and get a better grasp of characters and Aeldari portrayals. I must put out a warning that I'm not good with Aeldari dialogue as its very far from my writing style so sorry about that.

Amatsumi: Yes Ed does not have a soul stone but he is not as helpless as other Eldar do to his soul still being like that of the ones from FMA. That being said he's not completely safe as no Eldar ever is from Slaanesh, it'll get explained in more detail later on.

Thank you everyone who has followed, liked, and commented!

Enjoy!

The first thing Ed reacted to as he began to wake was the sheer amount of overwhelming smells, noises, and sensations all over his skin. They all blurred together like some mad concoction of chemicals from the periodic table all frown in together without a care resulting in billowing smoke with him right over the beaker. Or perhaps a more personal description of Ed's situation would be him being right next to one of Winrys prototype ovens before it exploded in a room consuming cloud of black smoke. Although even that would seem tame compared to what he was currently experiencing.

"Winry open up a window." Ed mumbled the sheer volume of sensations causing a headache as he could feel no individual object or element.

Ed's instant reaction was to curl in on himself and block everything out his consciences still hazy.

It would take a strong force to wake Edward Elric up from his hazy headache, something which could overrule everything else he felt. Something like a large drop of water landing exactly on an erogenous zone, containing many thousands of nerve clusters located on his new ears. Do to Typhon having large jungles and moist atmosphere that was no issue.

"Ghaaaaa!" Jumping straight up in a second he snapped awake to get a grasp of his surroundings! Unfortunately, such a sight lasted a whole of three seconds as he immediately fell back down onto a hard slab of rock with a "yaaaa!"

As he moved he saw his legs, or more precisely one of his legs as his automail was now significantly shorter than his biological one. Actually no, that wasn't the case his biological leg was now far longer than his automail and slimmer as well! As he compared the two, his metal toes still moving back and forth the background jungle came to the forefront of his vision his mind for a moment went blank.

.

.

.

"Where the hell am I! God-dammit Truth I thou-" His sentence was cut short as his hands flung to his throat in shock.

"Winry."

"Mustang."

"Alphonse."

"AL!" The tests of his vocal cords quickly ended as a sea of emotions hit him. More complex than any he had felt before even during the death of his mother, the human transmutation, or Nina. He tried to calm down but he couldn't! The moment he felt that he had a grasp of the emotion a new facet of it which he had never felt before remained or emerged. His vision got dark, his head light until he blacked out.

Ed awoke once more head throbbing, he opened his eyes head still on the ground while the wind hit him causing more alien sensations. He wrapped his arms around his head to protects it until finally he got used to the pounding, tears silently streamed from his eyes, the physical discomfort which despite not being as intensive made the end step of getting his automail seem comfortable by comparison. He looked through his hands and saw the jungle before him in immeasurable detail as countless water droplets hung in the air moving in slow motion like the rest of the world.

Eventually he sat up after a period of time finally calming down.

The first test was alchemy, with a clap and placement of his hands on the ground the surface of the jagged stones in-front of him was transmuted into a smooth glass like surface. He then surveyed his surroundings one more time before letting out a big breath and letting his head slump.

"All-right Ed, you can do this. It's just like with teacher's lessons, you can do this." The voice which came out was thankfully still identifiably his at its core despite the echoing choir that was produced which sent a shiver down his spine as he was reminded of Envy and the philosophers stones that he had witnessed. All the people's voices blending and never stopping.

The need to figure out his situation was at the forefront of his mind. His clothes were still torn from the battle at Central with the black shirt only covering half his chest, thankfully the pants were still intact along with the shoes which had fallen off and now lay astray before him.

He picked them up and once again examined his legs and their difference in length, unfortunately he couldn't extend his automail or retract his new biological appendage so he was left with little choice. He placed his boots down together on the floor and did a transmutation, the two merging together and growing in height. He put the creation on his automail foot and found the height to be wildly off, every centimetre seeming to make him feel nauseating as every degree to the side impacted him.

He got up his clothes rubbed against his skin, every fiber literally being felt and annoying him but he continued non the less and managed to stabilize himself and let out another breath.

Tiredly he talked to himself, "there, already got the start all figured out, so this is what it's like to be tall." Barley giving another thought to his overall height which he only just realised had increased he turned around and looked at the human transmutation circle on the ground and contemplated using it to get back but didn't. It was simple really he wanted to know what Truth was talking about as the living manifestation of equivalent exchange in alchemy did not tell lies. He thought about Al which pushed him to go back but stopped as the mystery remained like some sort of black hand of the gate pulling him with its implications, along with this Truth stated Al would have gotten his body back and his brother would be taken care of thanks to everyone back in Central.

The thought began to consume his mind slowly but Ed stopped and let out a breath eventually deciding to do a quick scout of the area while always being ready to get home or run back to this location.

With that the Fullmetal Alchemist turned around and began his exploration leaving the perfect transmutation circle imprinted in the stone behind him.

Ed's trek through the jungle could be described with one word, annoying, as it felt like with every slanted step that the forests surrounding were assaulting him, from water droplets to leaves and twigs. His new body never ending in its headaches both metaphorically and mentally as even with a better grasp of his senses it was like someone or a group of people were screaming in the background. He thought that it was a philosopher's stone at first but quickly pushed that aside as this was different, although he never did have detailed experiences with such things.

"Dammit, where's that colonel to burn something when I actually need him." He grumbled at not having an ignition glove or being able to do flame alchemy despite the circle for it being ingrained like never-before in his mind.

Admittedly though his new body did have some advantages such as no longer having any cuts and bruises from the battle before, he had wiped the blood off his face earlier as its smell was a large cause of his discomfort. Along with this despite his body being new overall there were clear indicators that some of the old remained from his automail leg to four fragments of his old metal arm still stuck in his flesh. In the same area where the automail arm used to connect to his flesh a dark vast scar remained, that same arm itself still having longer finger nails as well.

"Ha, glad equivalent exchange is still working at least." Ed absent mindedly thought out loud as he remembered Truths words on the matter.

Perhaps what Ed was most grateful for however was his hair as it retained its gold yellow Xerxien colour (he hoped his eyes were the same), a piece of heritage he began to hold onto as it messily splayed around his head. A part of him even felt sentimental with a small part of him wanting to thank his father, he quickly shut that thought process down to put it to the back of his head where unfortunately it was still somehow just as clear as day.

His walking stopped and he leaned against the trunk of a tree as his vision once again began going dark do to the sensations coming from his surroundings and the pain in his body. He felt in every which way metal connected to his flesh poking, prodding, rubbing, and in some cases cutting in immensely small ways which he never knew of before.

"Who knew I'd wana be short again" jokingly to no one he whispered, "If Truth's trying to teach me a lesson I get it, I'll stop complaining and even drink my milk. I get it, there no such thing as a painless lesson but this is going a bit fa don't you think?" Ed spoke to nobody trying to calm himself down as his eye lids.

Ed had lost consciousness one more time after that in his trek his slow pace making difficult to get anywhere at a decent pace.

Thankfully he had made some progress as from quite a long way's away he had discovered a road, the strip harvesting making it clear of the defiance against nature.

As Ed walked down it his body was in less pain from having his bare foot on a proper surface.

His mind however was once again trying to calm down as he lay witness to a ring of rocks circling the planet. He had kept walking if only to have the effort to keep going but once again his mind or as he was certain now, his new mind was beyond his control.

However, something did appear before him as in the distance he heard the grinding of treads on soil and began to make out the shape of, of a vehicle in-front of some old ruins.

Edward Elric gained a genuine smile "(Olivia) Armstrong would love one of those." His head inflated with euphoria as he started to raise his hand and shout at the upcoming object making out eagle symbols on its surface quite quickly. As the vehicle got closer it halted until the sound of someone boomed over a microphone nearly blasting Ed back to blackness with its volume but also because the person on it was shouting.

"So what do we have here! Another! So it looks like your one of our fiends, looks like this day is beginning to have some good in it, now you pest prepare to feel the Might Of THE TAUROX!"

"Wait what!" Before Ed could continue he saw the gun on the vehicles roof adjust to his location! He dove out of the way thanks to his sight, the blackness gone from his eyes as full instinct took over! The shots missed there mark stirring up dust, with no clear peaceful solution the Fullmetal alchemist unleashed his powers. Vast rods shot out of the ground to the tanks right side until they were underneath it and began to threaten to tip it over!

Unfortunately, the machines speed won out and simply crushed the transmuted material beneath it by plowing forward towards him!

"Dam!" Ed's mind raced to find a second solution as the driver of the thing had planned to all-of-a-sudden run him over instead as the distance between them closed rapidly as he yelled.

"You think you can get away, You think you can escape you maggot! I'm gonna crush you and bury you in a second beneath my tracks!" Unknown to Ed such a change was a result of the gunner having expended almost all previous ammunition from prior battles.

In the background of Ed's mind he thought about how he clearly wasn't getting away, the forefront however saw an opportunity as just as the Taurox (a third thought in Ed's head had to complement the stylistic naming choice) was seconds from crushing him he jumped to the side and after clapping his hands slammed them into the vehicle! In an instant every crevice or joint from tracks to barrels was instantly fused as alchemic sparks passed over the tank causing its armor to expand, thin, and fuse together resulting in it slamming to a stop!

Ed walked over to the now hollow metal brick and gave a sigh of relief while leaning against it his energy spent, darkness once again coming over from the mental sensation and exertion until he heard "Hug gm mm mfff!" and other such mumblings which he quickly realised was coming from inside the tank turned prison. One of the soldiers inside was still awake while the others had been knocked out cold.

Ed's eyes slightly widened as it was clear he had forgotten any air holes but considering that this unknown individual just tried to kill him he wasn't about to say sorry. So to take a second to relax and a deep breath he pulled himself together and put on his signature Edward Elric smile and opened up a slight slit into the side of the armor.

"WHY YOU DIRTY ROTTEN XENO! IM GONNA-" Ed closed the slit instantly after hearing the screeching from the man who could still be somewhat heard through the layers of metal. After a while Ed made another opening and began.

"So, you done yet?"

"Why you I'll!"

"Ya, ya, ya you'll kill me, kinda hard to do that when your trapped though isn't it."

"It dosnt matter if I'm trapped you'll be squashed eventually, you can't escape him."

"I'm not sure, this guy seems pretty slow if he hasn't caught me yet, I'm pretty quick although you probably already knew that." Ed tapped his finger on the surface of the vehicle causing it to echo as he felt pretty good about rattling this guy up while getting more information on whoever him was. A little arrogant, yes, but what was the harm in that.

"You can't escape, Ulc- the voice, Ulkair he'll find you, you can't run." Well this guy's clearly lost it! Ed thought, how did he get put in command of a tank.

"Alright listen if you answer my question I'll let" Ed didn't get a chance to finish his sentence as he was once again interrupted by the guy who made Kimblee look sane. "LET ME GO! I DON'T NEED YA, ULKAIR WILL TAKE CARE OF US, YOU'LL BE SQUASHED EVENTUALLY!"

"Really, well if that's what you want I guess I'll just be on my way." Ed moved past the man's view silently hoping his little trick would get something out of him.

"Wait where you going you coward!"

Or at least that was the plan until the all to recognisable feeling of losing himself to sleep came over once more, he silently slid down the side of the tank the drivers voice belowing still in his ears speeding up his fall to oblivion. He heard an explosion in the distance and absent mindedly with what little strength he had left dragged his body underneath the machine for protection, reasonable thought gone from his mind he went out once again.

Right so there is the chapter, I hope you like it, please comment as it helps.

Ed's height will be more comedy based in the future but I didn't think the tone of the chapter suited it.

I'm uncertain about the battle in this chapter as I don't want to make it to easy early on. What did you think of Ed vs Tank.

This chapter was mostly Ed dealing with his new body the next chapter will feature Kayleth, Ronan, and Veldoran.

Till next time.
