A Team
Ritsuka eyed the small container in his office, while the leadership system of Chaldea is somewhat split into several groups. He was more or less the main leader with DaVinci, Sherlock, Gordolf, Solomon and of course, Mash and Shiori guiding him in a Council sort of way, in practice he was more or less the new Director but in title, he is just the A-Team Leader.
"Shouldn't you inform the others about that?" Robin asked, like before, he, Shiori and Mash are still part of the team with several servants that they would summon. In his case he was assigned or rather under a delegated as the master of Archer, the said Archer was a man in his 20s with messy orange hair, he wore a slightly dull green mantle that mostly covered his green outfit with the hood down.
The said servant was none other than Robin Hood, a legendary bandit that operated in the East Midlands of England during the 12th Century. While not 'the Robin Hood' but rather the embodiment of the Legend itself which was borne from the wishes of the oppressed underclass for a Chivalrous Hero to protect them from the tyranny and injustice.
"This is a personal matter, Robin," He said making a sad smile as he gripped the bottle and placed a small tablet on his palm. "I don't want to get them involved in this."
"Well, at least I warned you," Robin shrugged. "I'll make sure to keep this between us as well."
"Thank you Robin," Ritsuka let out a sigh as he eyed the medicine in his hands while Robin quietly dematerialized himself leaving Ritsuka alone.
After downing the medicine he had specifically asked the new Directress of the Medical Division with the aid of Paracelsus to hand it to him in secret without letting anyone knowing save for the two, Ritsuka let out a deep sigh and relaxed for a moment. But his efforts were somewhat wasted as each time he would just for a moment and close his eyes he would recall—
Knock! Knock!
"Senpai?"
His eyes were quickly snapped open and quickly hid the medicine while watched the door open to reveal Mash entering the room.
"Is there something wrong?" Ritsuka smiled.
"The rest of the A-Team is preparing for the orientation, and Shiori told me to go find you and inform you as such."
"Ah sorry," Ritsuka responded checking the clock above, and eventually left the room with Mash in tow.
"I'm grateful that you have chosen me as your Master," A tall man with long silver hair and a pair of light green eyes bowed in front of Shiori. They were in the newly constructed Camelot Room, a vast hall that was designed to resemble that of the interior of a Castle with the titular Round Table built at the center of the Hall.
The man standing before her was none other than Bedivere, one of Artoria Pendragon's long-serving Knights who remained loyal to her till the end and he may not be as powerful as the rest of the Knights he is noted to be an excellent swordsman compared to the rest.
Given the current state of the Servant Roster, Bedivere is more or less the most qualified servant that Shiori chose to accompany her in missions. While Ritsuka summoned an Archer Shiori, on the other hand, summoned a Saber Servant, in this case, it was Bedivere.
"The honor is all my Bedivere," Shiori smiled as the two made their way out of the room. "I'm just glad that most of the servants here still remember most of the memories of this place."
"Yes," Bedivere smiled as he followed after her. "I hope that once the other Knights arrive things will be much better than before."
"Just you wait Bedivere," Shiori giggled at him. "Artoria, Arthur, Lancelot, Gawain, Mordred, Tristan, everyone from the Round Table, will be there again and complete and maybe even stronger than before."
"That is something I hope to experience someday Master." Bedivere made a wistful smile as they made their way into the deployment room in preparation for the orientation of the other A-Team members.
Haku Horikiri was originally from the Botany Division but upon realizing his aptitude in being a Master he was quickly assigned in the A-Team assigned as the Master of a Lancer, and much to Shiori and Ritsuka's annoyance had summoned Karna.
Karna is one of the main heroes of the Epic Mahabharata and known for being the Hero of Charity and the half-brother of Arjuna. Another to note is that he armed with the powerful God-slaying spear known as Vasaki Shakti, which in theory makes him one of the very few servants powerful to take on Gilgamesh himself.
"You're nervous Master," Karna said as he followed after him towards the Deployment Room.
"Sorry about that Lancer," Haku let out a deep breath as he paused for a moment to gather his thoughts. "It's just that it's really hard to stay calm after this to be honest."
"That is understandable Master," Karna replied with a nod. "Given each mission can determine if you'll live or not."
"Well, I'm sure we'll be fine right?" Haku answered trying to reassure himself. "I mean what's the worse that can happen."
"A potential accident similar to the first A Team of the First Chaldea."
"That was just a phrase Lancer," Haku said nervously. "Please don't jinx us."
Haruna Mihara was assigned in the Eastern Magecraft Division for her skills but she has been reassigned to the Team A as the Master of Caster which allows her to save Prana which can allow her to fight alongside her Teammates, and much to the chagrin of the rest, had summoned the Caster variant of Gilgamesh, who is well known as the Wise King of Uruk, at first the others were wary of his summoning from a Rookie but after learning that Gilgamesh is, in fact, the Caster version, therefore, making him at least a bit more humble and benevolent compared to his archer counterpart he was more or less willing to serve for Chaldea to pay the debt he owes to them.
"I am thankful for you to answer my Summons," Haruna bowed in front of him as they talked in the Deployment room. Unlike the Archer Gilgamesh who wore flashy and eye-catching gold armor, this version of Gilgamesh wore a set of regal Uruk outfit that he used as the King.
"Raise your head Magus," Gilgamesh said. "Take pride that you have summoned me, and I am willing to form a contract to this place as I owe a great deal of debt to this place while at the same time respect to this place."
"I understand then—"
"And another thing," Gilgamesh cut her off. "I do believe who should be serving under you as per the agreement of our summoning contract."
"A-Alright then." She nodded as they made their way inside the deployment room.
Dmitriy Kirigin was formerly assigned in the Occult Division for his Necromancy Skills, but he was later assigned to this team for his compatibility as a Master and as a result, he is now the Master of Assassin, and had summoned the Hassan-i-Sabbah.
While there had been many Hassan-i-Sabbah throughout history with various other skills and Noble Phantasms, the Hassan that Dmitriy had summoned was the 19th and the last among the Hassans to inherit the said title, and unlike their predecessors, this Hassan's skills and Noble Phantasm was inborn rather than achieved through modifications.
"Right so uh Assassin," Dmitriy smiled at the woman who was walking alongside him. This woman had long dark purple hair done in a ponytail and wore a somewhat revealing set of black outfit and a Bone Mask. "How does your noble phantasm…work?"
"That much isn't necessary Master," She calmly answered as they follow after him inside the Deployment room.
"I was just hoping to start a conversation," Dmitriy muttered. "Since we'll be working together and all that."
"That isn't very necessary as well Master," She added, earning a groan from Dmitriy.
Lucille Clair was formerly in the Alchemy Division, but she was quickly reassigned into the A-Team for the same reasons and was chosen as the Master of Rider and had summoned Medusa as her servant.
Medusa was a famous figure in Greek Mythology, youngest of the Gorgon sisters she was cursed to have a petrifying gaze only to meet her end from the Hands of the Greek Hero Perseus. Oddly enough despite her myth, she is a quiet and kind individual and immediately went and befriended Lucille.
"Are you nervous Master?" She asked her as they made their way to the deployment room.
"A bit yeah," She gave her a reassuring smile. "But I'll manage Rider don't worry."
"I see," She said, she wore her standard combat outfit which was a black revealing dress and a set of blindfolds that prevent her from using her mystic eyes. "I can understand, I once participated in a few missions in Chaldea as well."
Sieghelm Frey was also in the Alchemy Division alongside Lucille Clair, but like her, Sieghelm was also placed into the A-Team for similar reasons and as a result, is currently the Master of Berserker.
"Thank you again for being my Servant," Sieghelm said as they stopped at the entrance of the Deployment Room.
"You had summoned me, therefore, I must answer it," The Berserker answered, he was a pale skinned man and who wore a semi-formal black outfit, the man he summoned was none other than Vlad III the Lord Impaler, however, it would seem that he was summoned in his other form which is the Berserker whose legend would be immortalized into the Legend of Dracula.
"However," Vlad continued as Lucille and Medusa walked passed them earning a curious glance at the two. "I will not hesitate into taking your life should I deem you unworthy as my Master."
"Then I'll do my best in being a worthy Master then." Sieghelm answered as the two finally walked into the Deployment Room.
The two of them made their way towards the briefing room, the briefing room is a massive hall that at the very end of the wall contains a holographic projection of Earth that is provided by CHALDEAS. Upon arriving he was immediately greeted by a somewhat livid Shiori.
"You're late!" She said in an annoyed pout while placing her hands on her hips.
"I got distracted for a bit," Ristuka made a nervous chuckle, behind him Robin materialized.
"Well she was somewhat annoyed," Bedivere said.
"That's because Ritsuka is hardly late," Shiori said, behind them the recruits exchanged glances.
"Sorry about that," Ritsuka chuckled he then went and faced the new recruits, and each one is being accompanied by their own choice of Servant. "Now then, let's begin the Orientation."
Author's Note:
Sorry it took me that long to work on the next chapter, I was greatly stuck in an all too familiar abyss we writers call the Writer's Block, and to be hoenst this was more of an introduction to the first set of OC Master's I'll introduce so apologies for that one. Plus I was also stuck with planning out the Main Arc of this Fanfic of mine as well as preparing some OC Servants for it. While still waiting for a few other servants that are going to be released just to be Safe. But eitherway I hope you all enjoyed this Chapter. I'll see you all in the next one.
