For her stay on the reservation, she decided to rent out one of the rooms in an old family friend's old house. She got the information from Billy and she drove to meet the woman- named Sue- to discuss legal stuff. Once she got it all figured out, she and her older two cousins brought her over-packed luggage's to her new room and helped her settle.

Once the two left, the youngest Black descendant took a minute to sit and stare at the wall before deciding to shower and start her day formally. She made sure her still freshly straightened hair was secure in her bonnet before walking to the brown-skinned woman stepped under the cold spray of the shower and sighed in content at the temperature. Kaelynn was forced to love cold showers as hot showers brought bad memories upon her being.

Although the shower was cold, Kaelynn had to wrap her arms around herself. Not because she was cold, but she began to miss the feeling of being held. See, people with her condition needed to feel in order for them to continue on their day. Yesterday at her cousin/ god brother's wedding, she mingled with many gorgeous men from on and off the reservation that she could have used at some point. But, once she locked eyes with the little Clearwater sibling- who was definitely not little- she knew that he would be the lucky pawn for the night. She tried to wash her body to keep the thoughts of him out of her head, but it was no use. She never had an issue before with keeping the men at bay and not letting them get too close, but he was different and she couldn't put her finger on why. Maybe it was because she actually knew him? Maybe it was because he was close friends with damn near everyone in the city?

She had to hurry up and finish washing her body before she let her mind get too wrapped up in him. She stepped out of the shower, wiping her body dry with her towel before wrapping it around herself. As she existed the bathroom and headed down the short hall to her new room, she heard the sound of the television in the living room and footsteps on the second floor. Now, Kaelynn was sure apprehensive about staying in a two story four bedroom alone but now she was frightened. "Fuck!" She hissed to herself, knowing she was in no position to fight off an intruder. She quickly made her way to her room where there was a random baseball that was in the back of the closet. It wasn't hers, but she damn sure was going to put it to use today. She tightened her towel around her once again before securely grabbing the bat and tip toeing down the hall. As she approached the living room, the person was seated on the couch sprawled out with their back facing to her. She gripped the bat and raised it above her head and was about to swing down when she felt the bat being snatched from her hands from behind her.

"What do you think you're doing?" Kaelynn whirled around to face the familiar scowl of Leah Clearwater. Oh shit. "Paul, idiot, you almost got the shit knocked out of you" She called to the man sitting on the couch.

"Fuck off, Leah, I came here to hide from you" Paul grumbled, forcing a handful of Doritos chips in his mouth, making the two women cringe.

"No shit, ass, and that's why I'm here! You can't escape me, baby, we're down for life" She grinned, handing the bat back to a very confused Kaelynn. "He's my husband who likes to sneak off without me. Probably isn't a good idea to hide at my old house, but whatever. You're Kaelynn right? Mom told me you were staying here for a while"

"Ummm...yeahh. I'm sorry, I didn't know there would be people here. I should go put on some clothes" KK awkwardly stammered. Leah shrugged.

"Fine with me, we'll still be here."

Kaelynn made a face that Leah couldn't describe then walked back to her room. Kaelynn almost cursed herself at the sight of the infamous Leah Clearwater. Shit, KK seduced her little brother in a room full of people and ended up actually sleeping with him. She wondered if Leah knew, or even her husband who seems like he tries to run away from her every chance he gets.

"Oh God" KK mumbled, slipping a plain chocolate brown colored midi maxi dress over her petite, yet curvy frame and carefully sliding the bonnet off of her wrapped hair. What if Sue knew? It only appended last night, right, not everyone could know yet. She hoped. She surely forgot how tiny La Push was and not to mention how everyone, men women and children, gossiped like it was an actual nine to five job. KK worked her magical paddle brush throughout her straightened hair to give it some bounce. She decided on no-makeup for the spontaneous occasion.

Yeah, she is being forced to indulge in "bonding time" that Jake wanted between his sisters and Nessie's aunts. She was still confused about the whole family tree between the Cullens ever since Jake told her that Edward and Bella were Nessie's parents, but at the wedding they were introduced as her brother and sister in law. She found the whole thing odd, but she didn't actually care enough to question it.

"Ohh, nice. Where you headed?" Leah chirped from her spot, cuddled up against her husband.

"Lee, stop being annoying" He grumbled, this time laid back half-asleep. He tightened his arm around his wife in an attempt to shut her up.

KK laughed at the switch in his mood. He went from running away from her to smushing her against him. "Jake is forcing us to bond with Nessie's folkdem" Kaelynn muttered the end.

Leah perked up at the change in her voice. "Woah, yikes. Sorry in advance"

"Are they that bad?" KK basically whined.

"Yes" Both Leah and Paul said in unison.

"Mi nuh wa fi meet dem" KK whined in her father's language. "I think Imma flake. Yep, sounds about right" She mumbled to herself. "Thanks!"

Before the married couple could say anything, the younger woman retreated back into her room. When the door finally closed Paul snorted.

"I wonder if she knows that we know"

Leah looked up at her husband's smirking face. "Know what?"

"Wait, you don't know?" It was his turn to be confused. They both paused waiting for each other to speak. "Seth imprinted last night. On her"

Meanwhile, Seth was a work in the police station walking on sunshine. He had an unfamiliar pep to his step that no one knew the reason behind. "Slow down, Mr. Happy, don't wanna hurt yourself" An elder woman who loved the ground he walked on said smiling.

"I'm sorry. I'm just happy" He grinned. "Where is Chief Swan?" Seth asked sitting on the edge of her desk. He adjusted his belt and stopped and stared at the cuffs that were held on his hip.

Kaelynn continued to tease him by kissing down his jaw while his hands pulled at the cuffs that kept them suspended.

"Seth? Looking for me?" Chief Swan's voice rumbled him from his memory before he could go too far.

"Yes!"He piped up. Just letting you know I finished both patrols, there was nothing out of the ordinary" He spoke in his double entendre and the Chief of police nodded.

Ever since the vampire army came to kill his daughter, Charlie begged Billy to let one of the pack members work with the city police department to cover more lands and keep the threat farther away from the cities and reservation. Charlie personally hired Seth, Collin, and Brady since they were the youngest and didn't have to much commitment.

"Thank you. I have Collin coming in at one and Brady coming at nine. You're all set"

"Thanks Charlie" The two men shook hands. Charlie opened his mouth to say something, but was interrupted by Seth's phone ringing. Seth silently apologized to Charlie before pulling out his phone. It was Leah.

"What, Leah" He greeted.

"Don't what me, dick! Why didn't you tell me!" Seth had to pull the phone away from his ear because she yelled so loud. The receptionist shook her head the younger woman's language.

"Leah and her filthy mouth. I swear" She spoke, shaking her head.

"My husband loves it!" She called back just to piss the older woman off. "Anyways, I'm so hurt, brother." She whined. "How could you tell Paul and not me?"

"Technically, I didn't tell anyone anything. But I'll come to you, stay put"

"Ok, I'm at mom's old... ohhh. Yeah, at the old house. Hurry and get here, bye!" The three beeps in his ear let him know she hung up on him.

"What was that about?" Charlie asked sipping his coffee.

"I met someone yesterday" Seth said casually shrugging.

"Wait!" Charlie had to put his coffee down. "You met someone yesterday or you /met/ someone yesterday?"

"Umm, both? I think. I'm confused on what you may think is going on." Seth shrugged innocently.

"We'll talk about this later" Charlie whispered to Seth and patted his back.

Seth rode in silence the whole way back to his childhood home and was confused at amount of cars parked in the driveway. He saw the familiar ones, Paul's,Leah's, Embry's, Quil's and Jared's, but this silver 2018 Honda Hybrid was unfamiliar to him. He parked behind it anyways before locking up his own car and jogging up to the front door. Before he opened it, his sister snatched the door open and pulled him inside.

She hugged him and stepped back to get a look at his choice of clothing. "Your uniform, really?" She said full of disgust.

"Wow. Hey Leah, work was great, thanks for asking. Now that you mentioned it, I am kind of hungry so excuse me while I- oh" Seth pushed passed his sister and his nostrils caught her scent before he could see her. "Leah what the hell!" He whispered. "She's here? I can tell"

Leah grinned widely and nodded. "Hey Kaelynn, can you come in here for a second!" Leah called then walked back to the couch and put her feet on the dining table.

"Leah, I know you think that you're the queen of La Push, but lemme tell you something!" Seth heard her call from somewhere in the house. Then she appeared, her skin glowing from whatever moisturizer she put on her body with her chocolate colored dress that hugged her hips and thighs. Is he drooling? Probably. Like he had a flashing sign over his head, She immediately found him out. Leah slickly nudged her husband to make sure he was watching.

"Hey Seth, you look...good" She complimented. She loved the way the uniform accentuated his athletic body.

"Me? Look at you" He said back to her, breathlessly. She did a little spin and pose and he shook his head yes, not knowing what to say. "Damn" Was all he found in his whole mental vocabulary.

"Hey Kaelynn, can you pass me that remote, please?" Leah asked.

KK mugged the shit out of Leah. "Are you serious? You called me for a remote?" She questioned, grabbing the little black device and tossing it at Leah who caught it effortlessly.

"Thanks!" Leah said grinning at her.

"Mi cya nuh believe yuh call mi here just fi a likkle remote" She mumbled. "Paul, I'm so sorry that you devoted your life to this woman, mi goodness. And Seth, poa baby"

"One day, I'm going to learn Patwah and curse you to hell" Leah laughed.

"Too bad I've already have my first class flight" Kaelynn stuck her tongue out at the older Clearwater. "Hey Seth, are you busy?" KK randomly asked the silent man who was still standing still by the door.

He shook his head no, and still didn't speak any.

"Do you want to take a ride with me somewhere?" She asked, smirking. While all of the wolves in the house could hear, they didn't know the meaning behind her question like Seth did.

Kaelynn had somehow found Seth sitting down while everybody danced with their friends and family.

"Don't dance?" She asked him, taking a sip of her water and sitting at the table in the seat across from him.

"Umm" he blushed, "not really. Don't really know how to, especially to this type of music."

Kaelynn recognized the familiar beat to Luv by Torey Lanez and laughed. "Ohh this is defiantly my music." She stood up and held her hand out to him. He stared at it for a second then shook his head.

"No thanks, I can-"

"I'm not asking for your permission. Get up" She grinned. He groaned and placed his hand in hers and mumbled the whole time she led him to the dance floor. He looked uncomfortable as hell, but she still placed his hands on her waist as she leaned into his front. As she leaned in closer to him, his hands instinctively tightened around her body. She did a clean wine because there were children around, but even that had him restraining himself. It got worse when she spun around and her backside was pressed against his groin.

They swayed side to side like that for until the song ended.

"Hey, do you wanna ride with me somewhere?" She smiled up at him.

"Sure"
