Undecided Sam

iKnow You Care

Don't get me wrong. I'd always thought that Freddie was pretty smart when it came to picking girls; only one he'd mess up on, which was Valerie. But that wasn't his fault, that was all part of her mastermind plan. I really enjoyed putting people together. I guess it could be that I'm making people happier; or it could be that it's because some of these make my heart fall through my chest. Then it's gone. Either way, I was smart when it came to putting people together. I picked who went together very precisely, and judging by what's on the outside, not on the inside.

It was last Saturday. I sat on the stool by the computer and examined the odd green paint in my fingernail. I got my kit and started getting it out.

"Oh, come on!" I said at it. "Get out! You don't like live there or something!!"

I turned around to find Sam & Freddie looking at me like I had eaten Crazy Flakes for breakfast or something. Sam blinked. I had been dating Freddie for a little while now. Sam was so- how do I put this delicately.....oh, that's right. I can't. She'd been a little odd and uncomfortable lately. I guess she felt left out or something. I dunno. I wanted her to have Freddie-badly. I had only one rule when it came to my pairing-

love means hate, and hate means love. So I knew that it was due. In fact, they were way past due. And I had had enough, it was time to push her out of her ditch. Sam-as usual for the last few days- saw that I was looking at Freddie and excused herself to the studio. I sighed.

"Carly." he said.

"I think we need to break up."

I looked up quickly.

"I totally agree!"

"Well-" he said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"I guess I'll just.....go."

I waited until Freddie had closed the door before I shot a look towards the stairs where Sam was. "Sam!!!!!!" She looked afraid now. "Did you see what he just did? YAY!!!!!" Sam looked confused and very unrecovered about what happened a few days ago, so she just left. I had some serious work to do here.
