Nook couldn't handle it. He yearned for the villager. Sometimes, the villager came in with a new haircut. Straight from Shampoodle with a sweet vanilla fragrance emitting from that beautiful hair. On other days the villager would have a new outfit from the Able Sisters. A Blue Stripe Tee was Tom's favorite. But those were just distant memories now. Memories Tom wished were still true. He wanted to learn more about that mysterious villager, the one whom he'd grown so fond of. He did everything he could, he posted sales on the bulletin board in hopes of getting the villagers attention. Nothing seemed to work. Each day brought new struggles. Nook wanted to give all of his attention to the newcomer. He wanted to be graced by those big eyes that looked into him with little to no expression. Nook had big plans for the villager, and he wanted so badly to fulfill them with the villager.

As Nook was hassling Maple, the small brown bear to buy a new sleek bed, the doors rang quietly. Nook was pleading with fate. He wished so hard that it would be that some-what new villager he had met and first met and took interest in weeks ago. He was in such deep thought he'd almost pondered if others could hear his pleas.

His wish was fulfilled and in came the villager with a lovely new brown haircut. Tom was extremely fond of the the smell that wafted off the villager. It felt like Christmas to him. Tom ditched the ironically less sweet Maple and tended to the villager.

"Yes, yes! Tell me, what can I do for you?" The villager seemed rushed. Rapidly gliding through the conversation.

"Sell." the villagers voice spoke.

Though Nook did not want it, he bought ten black bass. He didn't care. After that, the villager bought multiple items from the catalog. Nook loved the catalog so much because it meant sending mail to the newest house with the red roof belonging to the addressee Nook took so much interest in. Tom wished for the villager to stay a while longer, but of course he was only blessed by the villagers grace for a few short minutes before it was time to say farewell.

The next day, Nook received news from Pelly saying that the villager had paid of their loan. Though Pelly was the sweetest postal worker imaginable, the words she spoke of the villager were much sweeter. Nook hadn't been so excited in months, he knew he had a reason to go to the villagers house.
