I feel a deep chill down to my bones as I hear the faint sound of someone calling my name. I groan and bury my face deeper into my pillow as I cuddle further down hoping to find my blanket. This pillow doesn't smell like mine...it smells like a certain girl next door.

"Emma."

My eyes pop open as I realize I fell asleep at Regina's house last night. Images from the night before begin to replay in my mind like a slideshow. Then there's an ache between my legs that I'm assuming is from us messing around. Then there's the realization that I'm naked from my waist down.

Regina's face comes into view as she hovers over me. Raven locks cascade all around my face as she peers down at me. The look of concern is evident in her brown eyes. Out of my peripheral vision I notice Regina has the sheet wrapped around her waist and she's naked too.

"Emma? I thought I should wake you, our parents should be up soon and I don't want you to get in trouble for sleeping here," she gently explains with a small pout on her lips.

I'm not sure if the pout is because she doesn't want me to leave? Or maybe she doesn't want me to get into trouble? Or maybe she's embarrassed by what we did last night? Or maybe she's just terrified of her mother?

I spring forward in her bed and nod as I climb across her blankets in disarray. Regina sits on her ankles and pulls a pillow in front of her chest. I keep my eyes locked to the floor below as I slide my underwear and pants back on. I slip into my Nike's and pull my hood over my head, from the cool morning air. I glance back at Regina and for the first time ever, I cannot read her expression. I begin to panic as I wonder if what we done has changed us.

A warm smile slowly spreads across her lips as she holds out my glasses for me. I offer a weak, crooked smile and quickly yank them from her before I turn toward her window. I lift the glass up and slip out onto her roof without a word spoken from me. I close her window and follow my routine path home.

Everything this morning is covered in frost. I make sure to take my time climbing everything so I don't slip and fall. I am able to sneak back in my room without any problems. I kick off my shoes and climb into my cold bed. I sigh because I wish I was back in Regina's warm bed. The sun hasn't come up yet but the sky is definitely getting brighter. I set my alarm for one hour and fall instantly back to sleep.

As my alarm blares obnoxiously around me, I begin to panic once more. I turn off my alarm and realize it's Friday so Regina won't be walking to school with me today. Every Friday morning she arrives at school forty five minutes early as a student aid for the counselor's office. Another stupid activity her mother ordered.

I walked to school with Ruby this morning who lives down the street. Ruby has been our friend since second grade when she moved here. She is definitely the most wild and free spirited person I know. She is also the most flirtatious person in our grade.

We made small talk just as we always do every morning. As we walked into school, the loud chit chat from the students buzzed all around us. Cheap metal shaking and clanking shut echoed down the halls. All of that fell dead to my ears when I saw Regina laughing at her locker with some of our friends crowded around her.

Regina glanced over Daniel's shoulder and we locked eyes. My heart pounded furiously in my chest as my mind began to over think our current situation. Regina bit the corner of her lip in an obvious attempt to control that shy smirk sliding across her face. We both dropped our gazes to the floor, feeling way too overwhelmed by all of this.

"Hey dork," Regina says as Ruby and I stop right next to our friends.

"Hey," Ruby and I say at the same time, even though I know Regina is only referring to me. She always calls me a dork.

"Friday night! What's the plan?" Ruby beams with excitement as she slings her arm around my shoulder. I tense from the contact, not because I'm not used to this by now, because I am. No, I tense because of the way Regina's eyes wander up and down my body for just a brief second before she looks away.

"I say bowling, it's been awhile," Jefferson answers as he leans against the lockers.

"Yes, I agree," I say while nodding along.

"I don't want to go up against you, not with that arm," Regina lightly shoves my shoulder and I sigh with relief. She's acting completely normal.

"Yes because my pitching arm has everything to do with bowling," I sarcastically quip just as the first bell rings. Regina laughs at my comment as she spins around to shut her locker.

"Hey Emma," Neal casually says as he walks passed our group with his friend August. I smile but keep my head down as I feel a blush creeping up my neck. He keeps his eyes on me with a sly smirk until he turns the corner.

"Let's get a move on, I don't want to be late," Regina says with fear in her voice. God forbid she's ever late to one class, her mother would rip her heart right out.

Regina and I didn't share any classes this year, which is very surprising since most of our classes are the same. The only class we do share, is gym class, last period. After our normal conversation this morning, I didn't really think much more about the events that occurred last night.

I was just setting down my books on a bench in the locker room when I heard Regina's voice from behind me.

"Hey Emma."

"Hey." I began spinning the dial to unlock my locker when I felt her playful nudge. I shook my head and placed my books inside.

"I've been dying to talk to you all day. Ruby told me that Jefferson has a crush on you."

Regina smiles as she pulls her sweater up and over her head. She doesn't bother covering up or being modest. She stands there confidently holding her gym shirt in her hand. I swallow hard and avert my eyes back to my locker. All of a sudden that ache between my legs has returned with vengeance.

"So? What do you think?" She finally pulls her gym shirt over her head and begins swaying her hips at an attempt to squeeze out of her tight skirt.

"I-I don't know. I never really thought about Jefferson like that," I mumble as I slightly turn my back to take my shirt off. I rush to slip my gym shirt on and turn back to face her.

"I swear to god Emma if you are going to say you have a crush on Neal, I'm going to kill you!" Regina huffs and slides her shorts on with anger.

"What is so bad about Neal? He's older and more mature." I slide off my jeans and immediately I notice Regina's eyes are on me. I quickly pull up my shorts and sit on the bench.

Regina sits across from me as we both lift our legs to tie our laces. I try to keep my eyes focused on my neon shoe but Regina's shorts slide up her thigh and I remembered just how smooth that thigh was last night.

"He's dirty."

"What?" I asked shaking my head because truthfully I wasn't listening.

"Neal. He's dirty Emma." The brunette's entire face scrunches up in disgust as she shakes her head.

"How is he dirty? I think he's cute." Regina rolls her eyes and slaps my upper arm. She stands from the bench and I follow my friend out of the locker room.

"Everyone line up, let's move!" Our gym teacher's voice echoes through the gymnasium.

Regina and I both scurry to our positions for attendance. I'm stuck in between Will Scarlett, who I swear is high all the time and Rose Tinkers, who is way too cheerful for me.

"Swan, Neal has been going on about you," Will chuckles to himself but I chose to ignore him.

"Emma, aren't you so happy we finally have a night off from cheer practice? What are you and Regina going to do?" Rose questions and I know she's fishing for an invite.

"Oh, uh I don't know?"

"Swan?" My teacher questions.

"Here," I confirm and wait for Rose to call out here, as well.

"We should all hang out!"

"Maybe, I think we might go bowling," I shrug my shoulders and glance over at Regina. She's laughing as always at something Killian Jones has said.

"Alright class teams of two for badminton."

Regina rushes to my side and hugs me from behind. "Mine!" She cheerfully laughs into my ear and I shake my head at her playful side.

She's usually hyper when gym class rolls around. It's a chance for her to finally relax at the end of the day from all her stressful classes.

We walk over to a large bin to grab our rackets and then proceed to choose a court.

Killian and Robin stroll up to our court and point their rackets at us.

"Game on ladies!" Robin challenges through a stupid grin. Regina and I laugh and nod along putting on our game faces.

Regina and I have known Robin and Killian since first grade. They are both like our brother's and we are definitely the closest with them.

"We will murder you Hood!" Regina taunts as we all prepare for a fun gym class.

Killian serves and I wack the birdie with everything I have.

"So during attendance Will said Neal can't stop talking about me." Regina shoots me a surprised look but quickly turns her head back to the game and smacks the birdie back to the boys.

"Emma..."

"Give me one solid reason why you don't like him?"

Regina smacks the birdie again and I can see she's taking her frustrations out on the game.

"He's a senior, we are sophomores. I don't know, I just get a vibe from him."

"What if we all hang out together. I mean I don't even know him but I won't hang out with him if you don't go with me."

Regina's puzzled eyes are glued to my face. So I step in front of my friend and knock the birdie back over the net.

"Well of course I'll go with you, is that even a question?" Regina shakes her raven hair all around her face and focuses back on the game.

"I think Daniel and Neal know each other. Daniel's a junior," I mutter mostly to myself. "Maybe we can all hang out together."

"I told you, I don't know how I feel about Daniel."

Later that evening our group of friends went bowling together. When Regina, Ruby and I arrived, Robin, Killian, Jefferson, Daniel and Rose were already bowling.

"About time you guys showed up," Jefferson teases once he sees us walking in.

The bowling ally was dark, with neon lights glowing all around. There were giant screens hanging from the ceiling playing today's hit music videos. The three of us rented our shoes and found our way to our friends.

"I can't believe how packed it is tonight," Ruby said as sat down at the table.

Ruby wasn't one to actually bowl. She mostly hung out, made small talk, flirted and ate everyone's food in the process. She would always play one or two frames and then beg all the boys to continue for her.

Robin had already entered our names and had our lane set up for us. Regina was the first one up and to nobody's surprise she knocked down all but one. Regina Mills always succeeds in everything she does in life. I can guarantee she wasn't even trying. She picked up the spare with ease.

"Your turn dork!" Regina swatted at my thigh so she could take my seat when I stood up.

My dad always took me bowling, for as long as I could remember. I smirked as I watched my ball glide toward the pins, I knew it was a strike before the ball even connected.

"Nice one Emma!" I whipped around feeling startled by the familiar voice.

Neal stood in between Will and August, his hands were shoved into his coat pockets but he still looked confident.

"T-thanks..." I stuttered nervously as Regina gripped my wrist and tugged me down into her lap. I sat down on her warm thighs as she wrapped her arms around my stomach.

"Did you invite him?" She whispered in my ear causing a cold shiver to run down my spine. I trembled ever so slightly. I wasn't sure if it was because of her whispering tickling my ear or because it was her.

I slowly shook my head and mumbled a soft, "no".

"Will said you guys were talking about coming here in gym today," Neal informed the group but nobody seemed to be paying attention except for Regina and I.

Will leaned forward and began scarfing down our nachos as if he purchased them. August slid next to Ruby knowing she's always a good time.

"Oh okay," I didn't know what else to say to him. He always makes me so nervous. I'm not sure if it's because he's older or maybe because I think he's cute, I just know I'm nervous.

Regina must sense my anxious feeling because her arms tighten around my torso and she rests her head against my back.

"Regina, your turn," Jefferson called out prompting me to stand from my friend's lap.

The brunette took her turn and on her way back she stopped me. "Let's all put our bowling shoes together. I have a great idea for a picture."

"What? They're just bowling shoes," I laughed at my friend, baffled by her silly request.

"Nah, I totally get it," Will said as he hovered over Regina's shoulder. "You can multiply the picture and make it like a kaleidoscope, especially with Regina's art talent."

Regina's lips curled into disgust as she peered over her shoulder at Will. "Are you always high?"

"Yeah," he nodded like it was the most obvious answer.

Regina shook her head in response and adjusted our feet how she wanted them before she started snapping away.

We just finished with our game, waiting for everyone else to finish up. Regina was sitting on my lap, pretty much everyone was doubled up from the lack of chairs around the table.

"You two are super close right? Would you make out?" August questioned causing all the boys to laugh around us.

"You boys are so immature," Regina scoffed as she shifted in my lap.

"Come on, it will totally be hot," he whined as the stupid boys all nodded around us.

Regina leaned across the table and even though I couldn't see her face, I know she's wearing her infamous evil smirk with pride.

"Tell you what boys...Emma and I will make out if you," she pointed to August, "and Neal make out," she proposed.

"Ew, no...why would I do that?" Neal quickly interjected.

"For the reason I just explained, dumbass." I know she's rolling those big brown eyes right now.

"No way!" Neal sternly said as he sat back in his seat.

"Ruby, would you make out with Emma?" August inquired with a small pout.

"Not unless two boys here, kiss."

The boys pouted and begged the rest of the evening until it was time to leave. I went straight to bed feeling the long day consume my body.

The moment I crawled into bed my eyes felt wide awake. I tossed and turned feeling absolutely frustrated but no clue as to why. My legs felt restless. My hands felt anxious. My entire body was buzzing with an agitated itch.

I groaned as I flung the comforter from my antsy body. I slipped into my shoes and tossed on a hoodie. I never sneak over two nights in a row but after last night, I feel the need to be around the girl next door.

I climbed out my window, down my roof, off my shed's roof, snuck through our fences and stared up at her window. Regina's light was just turning off. I quickly rushed around her deck in search of a rock. I found a nice size and aimed for the windowsill.

The loud thump echoed into the night. I shoved my hands in my pockets and swayed back and forth waiting for the brunette. The soft light switched back on and then she was coming into view. My smile crept along my face as she lifted her window up. Regina leaned on the window with her forearms and shook her head at me.

I shrugged and pouted out my bottom lip. I watched as Regina's perfect lips curled at one corner before she waved me up. I jumped into action and began climbing my familiar path to my safe haven.

"You are such a dork," Regina whispered as I climbed through her window.

"But you wove me," I pouted causing Regina to laugh. She closed her window and walked right passed me to her bed.

"Come on, Swan," Regina offered as she climbed into bed. I kicked off my shoes and pulled my hoodie over my head. I crawled into Regina's bed and cuddled into her warm sheets.

"Emma, how come you hate sleeping alone?"

"I don't." I said defensively as Regina pulled my glasses from my face. She exhaled dramatically like she wasn't buying a word I had to say. "Why are you scared of the dark?"

"I am not!" She snapped as she whipped around to see my face.

"Okay Regina. Let's just agree to disagree."

We both fell silent and after a few minutes, I assumed she had fallen asleep. I fought with my conscience as I stared at my friend. Should I accidentally bump her leg? Should I nudge my nose against hers? Should I simply scoot closer? All I know is I'm silently begging for her to wake up.

I slide my foot across her warm sheets and lightly drag my foot against her foot. She doesn't move. I scrunch up my nose in frustration and debate with myself to continue or leave her alone.

I squirm my body a little closer to her warmth and slip my leg between hers. Her silky inner thighs clench and trap my leg between hers. I tense instantly and refuse to make another move. Regina rolls her hips and presses her center against my thigh. My heart begins to pound so hard I fear the brunette will hear.

"Emma?" Regina breathes into the small space between us.

"Yes?"

"What are we doing? Isn't this wrong? We haven't done stuff like this in a long time." Her words are almost a sorrowful whine. My body flushes with embarrassment because I don't know what we are doing.

"Regina, I don't know. I just feel this pull whenever I'm around you. It's like when I sneak up here, I can't keep my hands off of you." I try my best to explain and I pay close attention hoping I can understand my own actions.

"I know, whenever you are around me...I want you so bad."

"So is that wrong?" I ask because I honestly don't know.

"I-I don't think so. I really care about you."

"And I really care about you. A lot Regina."

I watch as Regina's eyes flutter close, I know she's just as confused as I am. I lay perfectly still next to her and allow her space and time to decide what she wants. Heck, I don't even know what I want. I just know there's an uncomfortable throbbing between my legs and I know she can cure it.

I feel the mattress moving around me but I keep my eyes closed, feeling terrified of what's to come. Regina's body brushes against mine before her weight is on top of me.

"This is just between us," she whispers against my lips. Her warm breath sends a rush of excitement to course through my blood.

"I promise," I nod to her request but keep my eyes closed.

That's when I feel her lips drag painfully slow against mine. She still tastes of toothpaste as her tongue tentatively dips into my mouth. Curiosity begins to creep slowly into my mind. I wonder what that warm tongue would feel like between my legs?

Regina slowly grinds her hips into mine. That nagging throb slowly begins to unravel and I feel my body relax beneath hers. I sigh into her mouth because I've felt that pent up frustration for far too long today. She's finally releasing my pleasure, satisfying my every aching need.

"You feel so good," falls breathlessly from my lips and it truly takes me a minute to realize that I was the one who spoke those words.

"So good Em," the brunette mutters right back without skipping a beat.

Regina slowly slithers down my body causing my heart to beat even faster. I have no idea what she's about to do. Her fingers grip my pants, I lift my bottom so she can pull my pants all the way off. After a moment I notice she has disappeared so I should probably open my eyes. I'm met with the sight of Regina pulling off her own pants.

The brunette gently lays back on top of me as she tugs her comforter over our bodies. Her skin feels so warm against mine and I swear I can feel her heart beating against my chest, or maybe that's just my heart?

"Uh, hi," Regina shyly whispers and my body begins to tremble.

"Hi," I smile because I honestly can't contain how she makes me feel.

I stretch forward and capture her lips into a slow, meaningful kiss. I'm petrified what this means, us hooking up like this, but I let my body take control because she just feels too good.

My friend begins slowly grinding against me again. I swear the pleasure I'm experiencing feels like a volcano erupting through my veins. There's a swarm of butterflies in the pit of my stomach while my head feels fuzzy.

We are both breathing heavily as she picks up speed. Her hips are frantically moving in a circular motion eliciting every euphoric feeling possible. I can tell we are both so close to feeling our ultimate climax. Regina's body stiffens as our kissing stops and that's when I feel the satisfying release I've been craving.

"Em?" Her voice is extra raspy as she calls my name and my eyes pop open to see the fear in her eyes. "I mean it, you can't tell anyone about this."

"I would never. I promise."

Regina rolls off of my body and turns her back toward me. For some reason I'm feeling extremely emotional but I can't understand why. I turn on my side and wrap my arm around the brunette's ribs. She scoots back into my arms and holds onto my hand as we drift asleep without another word.
