A/N: Whisp here. Hello all, and welcome to. . . The reason I haven't updated The Infamous Question! I wanted to try this, and as I got so many ponies so quickly, I've written this instead of working on the next chapter. But, as this is now out of the way for now, I can get back to that. And without further ado,
The story, dear readers, is on!
Chaos Unfurled
Prologue: Chaos
The night was pitch black, the stars twinkling gently on an ebony field. The only noises were those of birds, and the quiet chirruping of crickets.
And the cracking of stone.
It had taken him forever, yes. But he had done it. Massed enough magic, enough power over almost one hundred years.
Discord was awakening.
The process was slow. At first, the only hint of the massive struggle was a chip of gray stone flicking from his once-brown goat leg. But the crack soon expanded, and a spiderweb of fissures had soon spread all over the snakelike body. Discord, however elated by his escape, was careful. His magic returning, he slowly lowered the chunks of rock to the grass ground of the courtyard before stepping off the small pedestal.
Carefully utilizing magic that had been suppressed for almost a hundred years, he slowly reshaped the rock chunks to look as if he was still frozen. After that was done, he looked around the courtyard with a grin plastered all over his features. Turing his gaze to the castle, his smile grew even wider.
It had been a century.
The bearers were dead.
There was no one to stop him this time.
Or was there?
A/N|: really short, I know. But the first chapter will be longer, I promise.
And I got Cyndir's name. Sowwy!
