1981

The trial of Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore was rather rushed. Barty Crouch decided that, due his actions, the Savior of The Wizarding World, was dead. As such, he was sentenced to the Veil.

As Dumbledore stepped forward, he looked back and said, "I die, but beware, Tom Riddle; Lord Voldemort shall return. Without me, you have forfeited your safety. Without me, the Greater Good shall fail," and with that, he turned around, and stepped forward into the awaiting arms of Death.

Albus looked around, "Hello?" He called. Nothing. There was no lights, no darkness, just nothing…where were those who were waiting for him?

Minerva sighed as she looked down at the prison food. It wasn't too bad, she was only sentenced to 10 months in Azkaban, without the dementor's presence. Hagrid, on the other hand, received two years for blindly following a man and stealing a child from their rightful guardian.

"Sirius Black," a voice called, "be ready for your trial."

Sirius Black was found innocent under veritaserum. Frankly, had the recent events never happened, he would not have gotten a trial; however, due to Albus' actions, it was decided to review the case properly. Especially with the charges of line theft, it became apparent that Albus would have had something to gain by Sirius being sent to prison.

Sirius and Remus had met after the trial and had cried and gotten drunk. There was no victory here, not really, as their best friends and their daughter was now dead.

Over the years, time passed and it became apparent to young Lillian that, although she loved her new father, she still missed the possibility of having friends.

Author's Note:

Short, I know, but it's more of a filler chapter.

I, also, didn't feel like a bunch of legal mumble jumbo needed to be placed here. I think just showing the major points is enough for now.

Oh, and as for Albus, don't worry about that. There's more to come involving his punishing. :)

SNolon. ^^
