The Blue Man
There I saw,
A poor, blue man,
Whose heart had never ceased it's breaking.
Never have I met this man,
An yet my soul is aching.
He has gadgets and gizmos,
That free him not, but trap him in the cosmos.
They buzz and hiss,
And rarely a target do they miss.
The most powerful man is he, But lost in another world,
His blooming, blossoming rose to be.
Her hair was golden like the sun,
Her favor was quite the prize to be won.
With brown eyes that twinkled,
Like stars and galaxies in the sky.
Do not be fooled by his bright nature,
Unnoticed, he is a weeping angel; tears of hatred.
He hates not you nor anyone else,
Merely his lonesome, compassionate self.
For he knows he could do so much more,
But everyone and everything,
Walks out the door.
The rose wilts away,
And the fire dwindles to a flame.
If you see someone,
The whole of the universe in their eyes,
Or a war never won,
Where everyone must die.
And the universe must fall silent,
As silent as the Darkness.
Remember the story you've never been told,
About a sad, blue man,
Whose heart is worth more than gold.
