"Erm…No, I don't want cookies, Theodore," Jeanette told him.
Alvin was so excited that he counted down the days to the cruise. He just couldn't believe his luck!
When the big day came, the went down the docks and they caught the first sight of their cruise.
"It's HUGE!!" Alvin gasped, staring at the Sea Queen, the name of the cruise.
"What were you expecting? A dinghy?" Simon asked
"And besides, all ships are called 'she'," Brittany said, "I heard it on television,"
"It's true, even if it's the Sea KING, it'll be called a she," Alvin ridiculed her.
"Even so, it's true, smart-aleck, ALL ships are she," Simon corrected him
They said goodbye to Dave and Miss Miller, and went up on board. The decks seemed to stretch forever. The crew, dressed in white uniforms, fussed over everyone.
The Chipmunks' and Chipettes' cabins were on C deck. They followed signs down a wide staircase, along a vast corridor and finally, reached their cabins.
"I'm guessing you're gonna need this," Alvin said as he handed out a bundle of keys to Brittany.
"Why?" She asked
"You're not gonna be able to open the door," Alvin told her.
Brittany blushed, feeling foolish.
Alvin opened the door to the Chipmunks' cabin, and they stepped inside.
"Whoa, a snack bar!!" Theodore yelled.
"And a TV!!" Alvin added.
Alvin rushed to the window, which was called the porthole, and poked his head out of it.
"Are we underwater?" Theodore asked
"No, Theodore, that's simply not possible," Simon said "We'd be drowning if the ship was underwater,"
"If there's rough seas, the water might be able to splash this high!!" Alvin exclaimed, rather happy about it.
"I hope not," Simon mumbled, as his face went back down behind his book.
