It's a tad bit short, I know. But I had this chapter in my head all week long.

Enjoy.

You Just Don't Belong To Me Part 2

The wolf strove forward, its intent clear in its mind.

Mine, mine, mine. Not yours.

The other pathetic wolf was after his mate. HIS.

Draco growled and tackled Fenrir to the ground. He was the Alpha Male, the Alpha of Alphas. Fenrir no longer had a pack to belong to anymore. The beast was pathetic.

Growling Fenrir barked back.

What do you want, Pup?

Draco no longer was the young boy of his first Hogwarts years. He had grown in more ways than one over the war. He was a boy no longer, for now surely he was a man.

You know better than to talk to your Alpha like that Greyback.

Draco boomed straightening his stance over the other wolf. He could practically sense his own Betas crouching, bending to his superiority and authority. Then he growled fiercely into Fenrir's face. Fenrir needed the reminder of who was really in charge here.

Yet Fenrir didn't so much as even flinch, but one look into the monster's eyes gave his cowardice away. He was lying, the elder man was scared.

Says who, I was once reigning Alpha here. Not you, a pathetic insolent, cowardice pup.

Fenrir's muzzled pulled back to show row after row of sharp dirty canines. A deep bark held in his throat. He was preparing for a fight. For her knew exactly how a male wolf would act around a female, especially one that was his mate.

I'm done with you, Fenrir, you ass. You really should have died during the war. Instead of hunting down the LeStrange brothers I should have killed you with my bare hands. Now you get to play with me Betas, but that is not just my entire wrath.

For extra emphasis Draco growled showing his array of giant pearly white canines a close up with Fenrir's own muzzle. He took in consideration and made sure to growl deeply that his own wolves whimpered in response. He was not one to mess with, but he had to take care of other issues right now.

Blaise?

Draco asked angrily and impatiently as his head Beta and second-in command. Blaise lifted his head sensing his Alpha's own anger. No one messed with a woman of the pack and lived to tell the tale. Especially the one of the Alpha's but more specifically Draco's mate.

Deal with him.

Yes sir.

Draco sauntered off as soon as his Betas came close enough to keep the enemy wolf pinned down to the ground. For now Draco would leave Fenrir to their mercy (but really they would show no mercy), but he was not done with him yet. Fenrir would most definitely pay for that.

With his better intent in mind, Draco broke off into a sprint. His mate was nearby and he felt the need to protect her.

One of the first lessons he had learned as a child attending Hogwarts; there are more dangerous things in the Forbidden Forest then anyone knew of.

Harry, the poor baby was hungry. In both her human and wolf form her body created milk in which to provide for her child due to Harry's constant presence and the new mutation to her body. It was something that made her wonder in the ways of the world.

Now in both senses of the word mother, Hermione fit it. But she had not eaten in a few days; she was saving her energy for Harry.

Sure she could have used her wand, but Fenrir would have sensed the delicious aromas of real food. He would be on her tail faster than a fly on garbage.

Sniffing the ground she looked up, there were others of her kind nearby. It too close for comfort. She didn't want to be trespassing on their territory. Truly she just didn't have the energy to fight off any other wolf.

Harry, still in wolf form, nuzzled her chest feeling a sense of security from his mother. Sighing, she knew what he was up to. The next minute Harry was drinking of her milk, the milk she was surprised to still have.

Hurry, she urged him after he final let go. The tension from the pull of milk was gone. But really, she didn't have much time to rest and dilly-dally; she could sense the other wolves getting livelier by the second.

With her small enchanted bag wrapped around her neck, Hermione scooped up young harry in her mouth. Biting on the scruff of extra skin on his neck tightly, but not enough to hurt him she lifted him up.

At first he fought against his mother's actions, but then settled down when he felt his mother's speed up her run. Very quietly the young pup yipped.

Harry please be quiet, Hermione thought as she sped out of a patch of forest and into a wide dipping valley. This was one of the few places that was left untouched by the war on Hogwarts itself.

Still against her wishes Harry continued to yip, something was up. Or maybe he was just being a young pup. Hopefully it was the latter.

Was that yipping? Only a very young wolf would make such sounds like that. Focusing on the faint noise, Draco picked up the pace. His mate was coming home. HIS mate was coming home to him.

Finally he broke out of the forest to a cliff, but from his cliff he could make up the valley he owned below. Therein was his mate running along again, the young wolf now in her mouth.

The wolf grinned devilishly.

Now to surprise his mate.

All rights belong to the amazing author who wrote Harry Potter but just didn't put these two lovely characters togther.
