And more detail about feelings and stuff. No major details.

Natsumi roughly took her arm away from Giroro's hand.

"I can't leave right now. Mom's coming home from work and we're going to spend the day as a family." She frowned at him, not understanding the complexity of the situation.

"B-but! But Natsumi! You're in danger! If you wait for your mother it might be too late. Why won't you just listen to me? Just leave with me!" Giroro begged. Desperation that Natsumi had never heard was in the strong soldier's voice.

"I…I…I can't take the risk of leaving. What if this is one of your stupid invasion plots? I can't trust you." Natsumi asked, rubbing the wrist that Giroro had previously clutched. She frowned at him, hoping he'd understand. She almost felt bad about rejecting him especially with how panicked he looked. She turned away not wanting to see how disappointed he was.

"…I'm sorry to hear that…" Giroro admitted. He understood that Natsumi didn't trust him, but it still hurt hearing it from her mouth. "Don't worry though, I'll be back in a few moments to make sure that you will be safe. I'm not giving up without a fight. You'd do the same, right?" Giroro gave her a small smile. Of course she'd do the same. She was his warrior princess.

He zipped off to Kululu's lab before Natsumi could tell him to give up.

"KULULU!" Giroro barged into Kululu's lab, not even knocking on the doors, "Do you have anything that would keep someone safe if the military hypothetically attacked?"

Kululu swiveled around in his chair, frowning that Giroro hadn't knocked. He was going to be busy in a few moments.

"Ku, ku, ku…Why would you need to know?" Kululu asked laughing. Classic paranoid Giroro, I suppose. Has to fortify the defenses, no matter what. He didn't have much time to waste on him.

"I have no patience at the moment. Tell me or your dead." Giroro hissed and raised a gun up to Kululu's head, the end of the gun pressed into Kululu's cheek.

The stakes suddenly got higher and Kululu gave up, knowing that no fun would come of him being dead.

"Ku, ku, ku…Fine, fine. Yes, I do have something safe in case of emergencies. I made a safe shelter on Captain's orders a ways away underground to the North of here. It can only fit one person but it can keep them safe for months, it has food and everything. It can even survive bombs. It's undetectable. Ku, ku, ku, Plus it can only be open with a secret pass code. It's one of my less painful but still marvelous creations." Kululu explained. "Pity that it was built on the captain's whim due to his fear of being butchered by Natsumi." Kululu rambled to himself

"What's the password?" Giroro asked only caring about the important details.

"And why would I tell you that? Ku, ku, ku…" Kululu asked. Giroro shoved the gun closer into Kululu's skin. His finger inched deeper onto the trigger. "Fine… It's Black, vortex, abyss, in that order. I'm assuming you want to know how to get to it too? Ku, ku, ku." Giroro eagerly nodded, but made sure not to take his finger off the trigger and Kululu handed him a map, "Ku, ku, ku…Anything else you need while I'm in my oh so generous mood?" He asked sarcastically. He didn't care why Giroro needed this information. He was too busy to deal with Giroro's problems.

Giroro thought for a moment. "Do you have any drugs that can knock someone out long enough for you to take them to this safety device?" Giroro asked. Kululu shed a fake tear in happiness.

"Ku, ku, ku…Thought you'd never ask…" He handed him a syringe filled with some sort of chemical that would knock someone out. "Can you leave now? I have better things to do than answer all your stupid questions."

Giroro nodded and withdrew his gun. He quickly left with the gun and the syringe. He didn't have enough time to warn Kululu about the oncoming invasion. He'll be able to deal with it on his own. I'm sure he already knows. That's what he's busy with. Probably.

If anybody's in danger. It sure as heck isn't Kululu. It's not like not taking a few seconds and telling him won't bite me in the butt. He shook Kululu out of his mind. Kululu had already wasted enough of his brain power. Natsumi and the Keronian invasion should be the only occupying thought.

He silently promised to himself that he would tell his comrades about the Keronian troops after he made sure Natsumi was safe. Natsumi was top priority.

"Natsumi! Please just for one moment step out of the house…" Giroro begged, returning to Natsumi to see if negotiation might persuade her anyway.

"Fine. But only for ten minutes. Maximum. After that please stop interrupting me while I'm cooking!" She requested. She suspiciously eyed the red frog down as she nodded. Giroro eagerly nodded, taking her hand and forcefully dragging her out of the house. They walked a few blocks away from the house in silence as Giroro dragged her away. The farther he could take her the easier it would be to transport her to the safe house.

Natsumi looked up smiling, hoping to see a nice white cloud on a sunny day, but instead seeing a flying saucer covered in an anti-barrier descend on her house. "Is…Is that more aliens from your planet?" She asked recognizing the technology. Giroro sadly nodded.

"They've come to take over the invasion." He slowly admitted, knowing that she saw the truth. He knew that when she woke up she should know what had happened. What was happening.

"So basically they're going to do as crappy of a job as the stupid frog?" Natsumi asked, snickering. Her experience with Keronians hadn't been exactly competent, save for the Garuru platoon who they had beaten anyway.

"No. They're serious. They plan on killing millions of pekoponians." Giroro admitted, his voice was serious and low, trying not to shake in fear, he needed Natsumi to know the truth, "Including the Hinatas…" He tried not to show emotions. How sad he was from what was going to happen.

Natsumi didn't give herself a moment to be shocked. Her emotions immediately went to fear for her family, the family that Giroro had mentioned. Her brother's smiling face was in her mind. A smiling face that she would not let be ruined.

"I've got to warn, Fuyuki! He's still inside! And Mom will be home any minute!" She realized. She struggled, trying to let Giroro's wrist stop gripping her. She wanted to rush away. To save them. Giroro jumped on top of her and pinned her to the sidewalk with all the force he could muster.

"Let me go…." She panted as he held her arms down and sat on top of her. She hadn't realized a tiny keronian like him would be so heavy. Was it all muscle?

"No. If you go anywhere near that house, you'll die!" Giroro growled. She could tell fear and concern for her safety was in his voice, but she didn't care. Why couldn't she help the people she cared about if he could help her?

"W-why didn't you tell me that they were coming when you were trying to get me to leave?" Natsumi demanded.

"You would have stayed and fight. Then you would have died. That's your warrior spirit." Giroro answered truthfully. He gave her a small smirk, proud of her but also terrified of how determined she was.

"Why would you care?" Natsumi asked angrily. She knew in a few moments she'd realize it was because he was her friend, but at the moment she was just angry at him for not telling her. She was filled with distress.

"…I…I don't want you to get hurt." Giroro blushed. In his embarrassment Natsumi pushed him off of her body and tried to run back to the house. Giroro chased after her, throwing things in front of her to slow her down and try to make her not reach her destination. She would trip and cry, but she'd get up determined to get to her brother again.

"General, it's nice to see you." Keroro bowed to the General stepping out of the hovercraft. He hadn't known that one of the esteemed Keronian Generals would be there to congratulate him on his progress. The General did not smile and merely took off some black gloves so she could feel a better sense of her surroundings.

"Sergeant Keroro of the Keroro platoon. I am here to tell you that you have failed the Pekopon invasion." The words were like a blow to Keroro's chest. Like a literal bullet had hit him. "The Keron forces are above the atmosphere as we speak. I strip you of your rank." The General gave a viscous smirk, almost as if she enjoyed seeing Keroro's waver as he stood, as if he was about to faint. The smile that he had once had plastered to his face was gone and she looked like she was eating up his distress.

So...Kululu and Giroro were right...When they said that there was no reason they'd congratulate me...I should have seen this. Keroro realized. No wonder he had failed. He was a stupid commander. A rush of self-loathing enveloped him, but he knew he didn't have time for it. Soon enough he wouldn't feel anything after all.

"All right..." He tried to stay professional. His last moments could be dignified after all. Even a surrender could be done in grace. "I assume I'll have the standard cloning and brainwashing?" He asked hesitantly. No fear was in his voice, although it was in his heart. He didn't want any more of those viscous smirks.

"Yes. We ask you to come peacefully. We don't want a struggle." The General requested. Keroro knew the words exchanged between the two of them were nothing out of the ordinary. Just standard procedure. But Keroro couldn't help the beating in his heart that begged him to speak up. To let his life not be in vain.

"All right." He agreed. He knew that agreeing was already more than other keronian commanders in his position had done. Some became fearful of the procedure, of being gone and then replaced by someone else. Even the bravest soldiers sometimes didn't want to be replaced like a simple toy. "But...I ask one thing in return."

"A thing in return? What is it?" The general looked at him curiously. Having not heard many requests like these.

"Please...Please don't harm the rest of my platoon. I alone am at fault for the failure of the invasion." Keroro admitted. "I...I slacked off constantly. Became a war criminal, and got obsessed with a Pekoponian toy. I am at fault, not them. It is the commander's fault for ordering his soldiers to do nothing, not the soldiers for following his orders." Keroro bowed, "So please...Let them go on with their lives." He begged. The General smiled a toothy grin. Keroro could see one of her pointed teeth shine.

"Of course." She said sweetly. Keroro hoped it was real sweetness that was in her voice and not a fake sort of kind. She nodded at him and pressed a button immediately beaming Keroro up to the ship.

"Fuyuki! Natsumi! I'm home!" Aki announced, taking off her shoes before stepping inside.

"Hey, Mom." Fuyuki smiled, "Sis is out at the moment taking a walk with the corporal. She'll be back in a few minutes.". Aki nodded and gave her son a quick hug.

"Mom! Too tight!" Fuyuki laughed, wheezing a little.

"What? Is it a crime to want to hug my son?" She laughed, ruffling his hair. Fuyuki laughed with her, blissful and happy.

"Sergeant Keroro…What do you see?" The General asked showing Keroro a window that showed the Hinata house. Keroro looked down through the window. It might have been his last look at his friends.

"The Hinata household being completely peaceful for once." Keroro told her glumly. It was a good thing he wasn't around to be causing mischief anymore.

The General nodded. "Peaceful is not good for an invasion." She pressed a button and bombs simultaneously went off throughout the Hinata house. Keroro's eyes opened wide the explosions triggering fires all around the house that once stood strong "You promised you wouldn't hurt my platoon!" He yelled realizing Giroro's tent was right next to the explosion and worrying for Fuyuki and Natsumi. He couldn't let the General know he was worried about Pekoponians though.

"Do not worry, the corporal is not there at the moment and the basement was not penetrated by the explosion." The General smiled as tears went down Keroro's green face. Keroro sniffed through his sobs, unable to stop himself. He couldn't make himself not show emotion for his friends.

"Master Fuyuki…Lady Natsumi…" He sobbed trying to be quiet as he whispered their names. They were surely dead. They had died in split seconds and he'd never be able to see them again.

The sound of the explosions went off all around the house, making the ceiling crumble, and the walls. A pillar toppled heading right towards Aki and Fuyuki's hugging bodies. Aki's mother instinct kicked in and she shoved Fuyuki out of the way of the falling pillar. She was glad she was strong because she shoved him out of the way of the pillar's path.

"MOM!" Fuyuki yelled, his eyes widening in horror as he tried to lift the pillar. He couldn't register what had just happened. He had been laughing with his mother and his mom was now being crushed by their house.

"Fuyuki…It's no use…" Aki gave a weak smile, knowing her son was anything but strong. The pillar had crushed her bones and body and the flames that were growing larger and larger from the explosion were tickling her feet. Fuyuki could see blood pool underneath her body from the crushing of her spine. He was smart enough to know that she was dying. "Please…Go to safety…And find your sister and keep her safe…" She after tear fell from Fuyuki's eyes.

"I promise!" He vowed, between his sobs.

"Good…Now…GO!" She yelled screaming despite her strength as the flames engulfed her legs and the rest of her lower body, charring it to a burnt smelly crisp. The scream was enough to set Fuyuki running off in fear to desperately find an exit. He finally threw a flowerpot at a window at the opposite end of the house and jumped out the window.

Wheezing as he tried not to cut himself on the broken glass, he didn't stop to rest, and he just ran. His thoughts were going faster than he was as he tried not to process the fact that his mother had just died in front of him.

Mom...He cried like a little baby anyway. Calling for his mother over and over again when he felt he was safe.

Natsumi watched, her eyes widening and her jaw agape as her house exploded in a spew of fire and rubble. The little ashes flew everywhere as splinters of the wood flew into the sky and bulleted down at the speed of a rocket.

"Watch out, kitty!" Natsumi yelled horrified as Giroro's cat stood shivering in fear as a splinter fell into the top her head. Natsumi's eyes widened as she fell. The cat's tail twitched but she no longer moved.

"Come on, Natsumi….You can't dawdle!" Giroro yelled pulling at her hand as Natsumi's eyes widened in fear.

"YES I CAN! Fuyuki was in the house! I have to make sure he's okay!" She screamed, trying to pull away from Giroro's touch. Giroro sighed.

"I'm sorry, Natsumi… I don't want to hurt you." He hit her with a needle and all went dark.

Don't worry! I didn't kill off Fuyuki! He survived.

What was Kululu busy with? I will probably say next chapter in the explanations/comments?
