"I mean, uh, I definitely don't want to be the king of anything."

The class couldn't be more confused. He couldn't possibly be doing anything other than lying, but the sheer absurdity made even that seem far-fetched. Why would such a statement be a lie, or even worth mentioning? Karasuma-sensei had his palm on his face, and Korosensei wore his standard yellow smile.

Nagisa–well, everybody–saw the lie, but if his judgement was correct, it was because the new student *did* want to be the king of something. He seemed so excited before, so what else was he trying to say before he stopped himself? If his faced showed when he lied, would his words do so too? What was he trying to hide? Before Nagisa could form a reaction, however, their teacher welcomed this… Luffy.

"Hello, Luffy, and welcome to Class 3-E!"

Luffy, noticing Korosensei for the first time, began staring at him. His nervous expression was replaced with one of utter excitement.

"WHOOOAAAAA!" He shouted, starry-eyed with amazement, "ARE YOU AN OCTOPUS? Do you know Hachi? Do you poop?" Luffy could have been replaced with a different person. Before, he seemed to have some depth, a layer or two, thin as they may be. But now, Nagisa could see nothing besides joy and curiosity. And what sort of questions were they to ask!? Nagisa had no idea who this 'Hachi' was, but why would anybody care if Korosensei could poop? Although, he didn't really have any idea. Perhaps it could relate to a weakness. Maybe this new kid was more insightful than he seemed. Asking that couldn't be his gut reaction to every strange thing he saw, right?

While Nagisa was bewildered by Luffy's behavior, his teacher answered the questions.

"Ha ha! While I am not an octopus, it pleases me to hear you call me one! I am afraid I do not know anybody by the name of Hachi, and I will not tell you of my fecal situation. That is something you should have to discover for yourself."

"Please do not ask or answer such vulgar questions," Karasuma interjected, "Both of you should remember that this is a classroom and thus requires discipline."

Luffy seemed to ignore Karasuma's instruction and continued asking questions.

"Why are you yellow? Do I really have to kill you? You seem cool! Just what are you? Are you sure you don't know Hachi?"

"Please, Luffy," Korosensei replied. Then he addressed Luffy. "I am very glad you have joined us, but we must remain calm during classroom hours. Please take a seat, and save any further questions for another time."

"Okay, Octo-guy! I really need to know if you know Hachi, though!" Luffy replied, as he walked over to the back of the classroom. He took a seat near Karma. Nagisa glanced back and noticed he put his feet on top of his desk, his hat over his eyes, and his pinky up his nose.

Korosensei began speaking again. "Oh, I have almost forgotten. Hats are strictly against this schools dress code. I am sorry, Luffy, but as your teacher I must ask you to give up that straw hat you are wearing."

Luffy's reaction, however, surprised everybody. "Nope! This hat is my treasure. You can't have it."

Every student missed what had happened next. Korosensei was no longer at the front of the class, but in front of Luffy. His tentacles were all pointed towards him, a single one about to reach Luffy's hat. But it wasn't moving, because it was held by Luffy's hand. Sweat started to pour out of his face, and he began shaking. Luffy's tone was no longer cheerful. Quietly but with force, he repeated himself.

"I said you can't have my hat. It's my treasure." His hand started to clench harder, and… get darker? Karasuma was slowly moving closer, and Korosensei's other tentacles to started to move. Just what sort of power was radiating from Luffy? It almost seemed like he was… as strong as Korosensei. Before the conflict could worsen, however, a new voice spoke up.

"I would suggest that you allow Luffy to keep his hat."

Most of the class turned to see that a dark-haired woman had entered the room. Nagisa noticed that her outline was the same as the person who was previously in the hall. But the reaction of most of her classmates was infatuation. Taiga and Hiroto were swooning, though Kaede seemed to be angrily staring at her bust. Ignoring their reactions, the woman continued.

"It was given to him by a dear friend who saved his life, and now represents a promise they made to each other. If you don't allow him to keep it, Luffy may not continue to attend. At the very least, you must gain his trust first." Korosensei left Luffy's hat, but it didn't seem to be because of her words. Rather, he seemed to be staring at her large breasts. A few students could hear him muttering "my goodness, even larger than irina's," something a few students had running through their heads as well.

Karasuma got Korosensei's attention with a cough. "I believe you should heed her advice. Allow Luffy to keep his hat."

"Anyway, as you likely have guessed this woman is going to be a new teacher for Class 3-E. Allow me to introduce Nico Robin."

"Thank you, Karasuma-san," Robin replied. Her voice was calm and seductive. She reminded them of Bitch-sensei, though less aggressive. "I will be teaching your History class. I will also be able to help some of your assassination abilities, though I'm afraid that most of my major skills overlap with Irina-san's."

Nagisa noticed that Robin was very wary underneath her calm exterior. She didn't seem like she had a plan for killing everybody… no, it seemed like she already had one. She was not as comfortable with the situation as she made herself seem.

Korosensei then chimed in. "Do not worry, Robin-san. More than one teacher can multiply the ability to teach manifold. I am very pleased that you are joining us. I am certain you will be able to enrich our students' lives."

"And I must also say, to our new student Luffy, that I am sorry for attempting to take your hat. Nothing is more important than the things we treasure, and nobody should ever take that hat away from you."

It was at this point that Luffy started to wake up. "Oh, hey Robin!" Korosensei continued, ignoring him.

"However, the most important treasures of all are the bonds we create with others. The bonds that I hope all of you forge during this year, and that the four teachers you now have can form with you. Who knows, perhaps you will succeed in assassinating me, to let those bonds live on for more than a year. Although, I have to say that is a very unlikely thing to occur." At this point his face was covered in horizontal green stripes, his 'mocking' face.

"Nah, Octo-guy," Luffy replied, "I think I could beat you. I'm pretty strong." Most of the class tried to ignore him. For some, it was out of fear more than irrelevance. After all, he had managed to react to Korosensei's attack, and block it as well.

Korosensei, however, reacted by hiding in the corner with his face purple. His 15th weakness was that he gets taken in by rumors. The new teacher, Robin-san, let out a small chuckle.

Nagisa had to wonder just where this Luffy came from. There was so much strange information to process. The peculiar lie, his hat, his strength, and relationship with their new teacher were each confusing on their own. Perhaps he and Robin-san were related. They did have similarly dark hair and mysterious attitudes. Their family names were different, though.

Nagisa had the feeling he would have to take just as many notes on these two as he would on Korosensei.

Well, that's another chapter. Please review so I know I'm not doing an awful job. Or review if I am, so I can figure out how to stop.
