Chapter 2: A Party?
Madison was standing beside her locker, which just so happened to be three down from the Argent girl's locker, go figure. She looked over at the girl and noticed she was staring at something across the hall. Not really caring what it was, Madison turned back around and shut her locker door when a girl with red hair walked up to them. The girl stopped in front of Allison and said, "That Jacket is absolutely killer, where'd you get it?"
Allison looked dumbly at the girl for a few minutes before answering, "My mom was a buyer for a boutique in San Francisco."
The girl nodded her head with a smile, then looked over at Madison and grinned widely. Looking her up and down, she told her, "Wow you're whole outfit just works so well together. Now the ripped jeans are a little out of style, but we'll just call it retro. I especially love your shoes, though." Then looking at both girls she told them, "You two just became my new best friends."
Madison didn't know whether to be insulted or flattered so she just smiled at the girl. She was about to introduce herself when some guy came over and the red head and he started sucking face.
She and Allison shared an uncomfortable look before going back to looking at anything but them. Turning her head to the side, Madison caught a whiff of that delicious smell again and realized that Stiles was very close by.
Looking around she caught him and his werewolf friend standing together farther down the hall. When a pretty dark skinned girl walked up to them, Madison tuned her hearing to listen in to their conversation, "Can someone tell me how the new girls are here all of five seconds and they're already hanging out with Lydia's clique." The girl asked the two boys. Ah, so that was the red head's name.
Stiles scoffed at the girl and answered, "Because they're hot, infinitely so," he said shooting a glance at Madison, "beautiful people herd together." Madison smirked at his answer before looking over at him. When he saw her looking, his eyes widened comically as he realized that he had been caught staring. She smiled brightly at him and waved. Stiles reciprocated, looking slightly astonished that she would openly wave at him.
They continued to stare at each other until Lydia spoke to her and Allison, taking her attention away from Stiles "So, this weekend, there's a party."
Allison looked over at her questioningly before asking, "A party?"
The guy standing beside Lydia nodded his head, "Yeah, Friday night. You should come."
Allison, looking at the two faking disappointment, told them, "Ah, I can't, it's family night this Friday. Thanks for asking." She gave Madison a smirk before saying, "Maybe Madison can go though." totally throwing her under the bus.
Madison sent Allison a glare as the two teens turned to look at her, waiting for her answer. She was quiet for a few minutes, trying to figure out how to get out of this, when she realized this could be her chance to get to know her mate. Smiling she told them, "Well normally I don't go to a party without a date, but since I think I have someone in mind, you might see me there." if she could convince her very protective older brother to let her go.
Lydia smiled and clapping her hands, she squealed in excitement, "Yay, this is great."
The guy nodded his head and gave a half-hearted smile, "Yeah, Everyone's going after the scrimmage."
Allison gave them all a confused look, "Scrimmage? You mean like football?"
The guy, who Madison had learned was Jackson, chuckled at her, "Football's a joke at Beacon." He told her with a half smile.
Madison grinned at them and told Allison, "He mean's Lacrosse."
Jackson snapped his fingers and pointed at Madison, "Exactly, We've won the state championship for the past three years."
Lydia started grooming Jackson's hair in the middle of his sentence then turned and told them proudly, "Yeah, because of a certain team captain."
Madison pointed her finger questioningly to Jackson and he nodded his head affirmatively before telling both girls, "We have practice in a few minutes. That is if you two don't have anywhere else…" he trailed off.
Allison spoke up and said, "Well actually I was going to…" the same time Madison answered, "I'd love to come." though she was staring at Stiles when she spoke up. Having noticed the Lacrosse stick poking out of his backpack, Madison deduced that he must be on the team too.
Lydia smiled happily at both of them, "Perfect, you're both coming." Then grabbing both girls by the hands she dragged them down the hall.

Madison followed Lydia and Allison onto the field. As they got to the bleachers, she picked up the sound of her Stiles's voice as he walked onto the field.
"But if you play, I'll have no one to talk to on the bench, are you really going to do that to your best friend?" She gave a soft laugh as she heard Stiles try to guilt his best friend into not playing.
The boy sighed as they walked into her line of sight, "I can't sit out again. My whole life is sitting on the sidelines. This season I make first line." The boy then walked off towards the field as Stiles took a seat on the bench.
As the Coach walked up to the werewolf boy, Madison tuned out of the conversation and instead focused on Stiles. He turned his head to survey the bleachers, and caught sight of her already staring at him.
Madison smiled widely and waved at him from her spot on the other side of Lydia. Stiles quickly turned his head and looked behind him, as though checking to make sure it was him she was waving at. Turning back around to face her, Stiles gave her a confused look and pointed at himself questioningly. Madison laughed and nodded her head, continuing to smile at him.
Stiles smiled back, though still looking a bit stunned, and hesitantly waved back at her.
Madison stood up from her seat, catching both Lydia and Allison's attention, "Where are you going?" Lydia asked her curiously.
Madison grinned at her, "I just saw the guy I want to go to the party with, so I'm going to go talk to him."
Lydia grinned back at her, "Ooh, you go girl. Good for you. At least it's someone on the lacrosse team and not some looser."
Madison just smiled and began walking down the bleachers; she could feel Stiles' eyes on her the whole way down, and it made her smile to herself.
When she finally got to the ground, Madison began walking over to where Stiles was sitting. Just before she could reach him though, someone stepped in her walkway.
Looking up she came face to face with one of the boys on the lacrosse team smiling down at her, "Hi, you must be one of the new girls. My name's Carl."
Madison gave the boy a polite smile, "Hi Carl, it's nice to meet you. Look I don't mean to be rude but I…"
The boy cut her off quickly, bending down and invading her personal space, "Listen I was thinking, since you're new here and all you probably don't know about the party Friday night. And I was thinking if you have nothing else to do…" he trailed off looking her up and down with a smile that just irritated her.
Madison opened her mouth to tell this boy off when someone did it for her, "Greenburg, Stop being a little creep and leave the poor girl alone! Go finish your suicide runs!" the coach yelled at Carl. Madison gave the coach a grateful grin although he was oblivious to her relief. (A/N I do not know Greenburg's first name. So this is not accurate.)
Madison chuckled before she started making her way towards Stiles again who had not taken his eye off of her since she took her first step off the bleachers. He sat dumbfounded as she took a seat right next to him. She gave him her signature bright smile.
"Hi, Stiles, Right?" She asked him, keeping her smile in place.
Stiles nodded his head quickly, "I uh, yeah, that's me, Stiles Stilinksi. That's my name." He rambled.
Madison laughed at how absolutely adorable he was, "Yeah, you're in my English class." She stated.
Stiles nodded his head, "Yeah, and Chemistry, and economics." His answer making Madison's smile broaden. He had noticed her. That was good.
Realizing what he had said, Stiles stuttered out, "N-not that I'm stalking you or anything, I'm not. I just noticed that you were sitting in front of me. In every class." He mumbled the last part.
Madison opened her mouth to reply but the sound of the ref's whistle startled Madison and caused her to grimace in pain. She wasn't the only one the sound affected, she watched as the new werewolf grabbed his head and fell to the ground in pain. Madison was just better at controlling her senses then he was.
Stiles grimaced as he watched his friend get hit with a ball and fall to the ground, and Madison winced in sympathy. "That's your friend, right?" She asked Stiles.
He nodded his head, "Yeah, Scott." They watched as another boy threw the ball at him, only this time, Scott caught it, shocking everyone in the stands and his teammates.
Madison smiled as she sat and watched Stiles cheer for his friend every time he caught the ball. Her eyes were more on him then they were on the field.
When Jackson stepped forward, everyone there was watching on the edge of their seats to see if Scott would catch this one, and when he did every person there cheered in happiness for him, even Lydia.
Madison grinned when Stiles jumped up and started flaying him arms around in excitement, "That's my friend!" he exclaimed in happiness. When she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket, she took it out and read the message from her brother letting her know he was outside waiting for her.
Madison stood up and faced Stiles, catching his attention before she left, "Tell your friend I said congratulations, he'll defiantly make first line." Stiles nodded his head and smiled at her, "I'm sorry but I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow, and I'm defiantly coming to watch the game." She told him.
"Alright, I'll see you tomorrow, def-defiantly see you tomorrow. You know in English, that class we have together. I'll be there. Tomorrow." He rambled on finally shutting up when he realized what he was doing. But Madison just smiled at him and leaned over pecking him on the cheek, "Thanks for letting me sit with you." She said before turning and walking away. Totally missing the shocked look, not only on Stiles' face but on the face of every person that had seen; which was everyone there.

When Madison reached the parking lot, she found her brother leaning against his car waiting for her.
"Finally, what took you so long?" Derek asked when he saw her.
Madison shrugged, "I had to say goodbye to Stiles. You need to learn patients."
Derek frowned at her, "Stiles? Is that the name of your MATE?" he asked growling out the last word.
Rolling her eyes at her brother as she slid into the car, Madison answered, "Yes, that's his name."
Derek just growled in reply and pulled out of the parking lot.
Madison smirked at him, "Oh don't be such a sour wolf." Her words earned herself a glare.
