A low growl emitted from Lag's lips as he glared up at Noir. Not only had the said marauder kidnapped him he also made Lag cross-dress and have him be on his hands in knees right in front of Noir leaving them in an awkward position. His glare didn't help much since he could only see Noir from the corner of his eye. To make matters even worse than that, Lag even had to hold a lantern by the handle in his mouth while crawling because they were in a dark tunnel. Great.

In this situation most people would defiantly not listen to a man who kidnaps them and then changes your clothes when you pass out, leaving you to wake in drag. Nonetheless, most people would do all of this and smile as well when there happened to be the barrel of a gun stabbed right in the middle of your back. Lag wasn't most people though, since he had made five attempts to run and wasn't smiling at all. That was why he now had to crawl in a cave where even Noir could stand up in. Lag felt something brush his backside.

"Don't touch me." He gritted out.

"I was simply fixing a ribbon that was dragging." Noir replied.

"Leave it be and leave me be." Lag growled again.

There was a silence that followed as they continued down the tunnel with nothing changing and the gun remaining. Soon the tunnels floor became rockier but Lag didn't complain, for he didn't want to give Noir any satisfaction from his new misery. The exhaustion still grew and Lag had to breathe more quickly so he wouldn't pant. He continued to make this trek silent, giving it as much effort as he could muster. To Lag's shock, he was thankful for the dress that hid his now shaking legs; his legs beyond help and healing for that matter.

"I smell blood" Noir stated.

"I smell a pervert with a gun." Lag grumbled back.

Noir stabbed the barrel of his gun right into Lag's back, causing the young boy to collapse on his stomach. Lag's cheek felt the sharp points of the ground first with the rest of his body learning the texture bellow soon after. The kidnapped loner couldn't help but to let out a grunt as new crevices were carved into his body now making his knees not the only thing bleeding. The lantern slid ahead and away from Lag. Lag slammed his eyes shut as if it would make all the pain in his body disappear, even the pain in his stomach from his worries of Gauche.

"What the hell Noir?" he managed to grate out

"I would think that you would know a little bit more respect." Noir answered in monotone.

"Respect? Respect for the guy who killed the only man who was there for me? For the stranger who decides to kidnap me?" Lag screamed out with a newfound power, "for the prick who dressed me up as if I was a little girl?"

Noir seemed to be looking in Lag's direction, for Lag couldn't really see in the tunnel. He had been yelling in his laying down position because of the pain that didn't allow too much movement. From the tingle in his neck he had somewhat of an idea that Noir was now still just looking at him and the tension was making anxieties crawl into Lag again.

"Respect for your position. I have a gun in you back." Noir pressed the barrel into Lag's collapsed form, following his own words, "and you are simply my captive in a dress understand?"

The captor began to slide the gun lower on Lag's back. The gun was on his lower back when Lag spun his body around, forcing the gun to aim at his stomach. The white haired boy was glaring with anger at Noir. As if to answer the glare, Noir smirked and aimed the gun higher at his head right above his left eye.

"Why don't you uncover your eye, it must be hard to see?" Noir murmured keeping his haughty smirk.

Lag panicked, his eye was the only thing he would never be honest about; his only secret that he could never share with anyone. He closed his eyes and did nothing more hoping Noir would take this silent reply. Lag realized his mistake, with his limited vision he could keep an eye on Noir but now he was at Noir's mercy.

"No? You won't show me your eye?" Noir's voice rang out in the darkness.

"Please show me, Lag Seeing?" A new voice rang out so close to what Noir's sounded like but this one was so different. It had emotion in it, it sounded kind and it made Lag's heart begin to thud. It sounded like….

"Gauche?" Lag exclaimed jumping to his feet and opening his eyes.

His head whipped all around the tunnel that was too narrow for him to take another step to the side but was defiantly long because he couldn't see the end of the direction he had come which was the direction he was looking… the direction he had heard Gauche. There was nothing.

Realization struck and Lag realized that not only was there no Gauche, but also no Noir. Noir. Lag began to whip his head around in all directions but he only met wall on two sides and darkness on the others. After pausing for a second to think of what to do and get his heart rate down, he decided that going back the way him and Noir had come was his best decision. He started to walk and then ended up running; gritting his teeth and ignoring the pain. He was suddenly slammed into a wall.

"You are not really curios are you? Why not just go down this tunnel and see where it leads? Aren't you tired of your everyday life?" Noir's mouth was suddenly a breath away from Lag's ear as he whispered to Lag; sending chills with his almost menacing voice that made the young hostage hold his breath.

"What kind of idiot would go right to where his kidnapper wants him to go? Besides that where would I go if I left my everyday life? I'm satisfied and I don't need to go to great lengths to find a new life! I mean I would go anywhere to find Gauche but I have a feeling you are a liar and Gauche is definitely not done that path! What does your master want with me? If you are his marauder he has to be an idiot to hire a guy like you!" Lag let out all of his emotions in seconds, making echoes vibrate off of the tunnels walls.

Noir's eyes slowly went up and down Lag's face; taking him all in.

"You are not ready yet, as I thought." Noir boredly stated.

Noir moved away from Lag. Lag had forgotten his body shape and was suddenly falling forward. He was about to let out another rant when he realized that he heard steps and voices coming from the place Noir had been trying to take him. Noir realized it as well and suddenly kneeled down so his face was inches from Lag's.

"I'll fetch you later. For now I will let my master. I will get you Lag Seeing." Noir said in almost a pained voice.

Pained?

The voices were getting closer and Lag could actually begin to see light. He stared toward the light, having not realized how much he had missed it; craved it even. Heat was suddenly on his lips he hadn't realized were numb. Noir's lips had connected with Lag's. The warmth shocked Lag, the cold, stoic Noir who was the definition of a moonless night, a hidden niche, a tranquil forest; mysterious and dark, was now warming him up. His face felt began to heat up and his heart began to thunder. His eyes were extremely wide as he stared at Noir, whose eyes were on him as well, watching and always staring.

Then Noir was gone; blending into his homely darkness. Leaving a blushing and confused boy, Noir went the way Lag and he had arrived from. Lag heard the voices, closer this time he whipped his head towards the light in time to be hit on the head, and in his banged up state all he could do was to let the darkness take him. Lag fell asleep and was soon surrounded by strangers without Noir.
