Hey peeps, here I be with chapter 2. I'm really glad that you all seem to be enjoying this :3
Now to the reviews:
Skyla Talon: Yup, I couldn't not have a metal spirit in there. And yeah, that's my version of it
MasterofCupcakes: One should never mess around when dealing with dragons in their stories, especially if they are a dragon. And that bully might just make another appearance
GameCubeGirl1: I think almost anyone would agree that Jay is the most adorable of the ninja, and you shall find out more about the egg in this chapter :D
I could of sworn I had gotten one more review on that... well if someone else did review and your thing didn't pop up then I'm sorry for not replying to it.

Jay excitedly walked back towards the cabin with the other kids. In his right hand he held his bucket, which he had stuffed his dragon toys in, and in the other his egg. He knew from his reading that for a dragon to gift you a spirit was almost like it was giving you a piece of it's own soul. The spirit itself was a very special kind of magic, one that created a living creature that would bond with you and stay with you throughout your life.
He glanced back at the egg. At the moment it sorta looked like an ordinary egg, just a bit larger and with a slight glow. As time went on it's glow would get brighter and even change color slightly depending on his mood. After all, it wasn't a regular egg, more like a dormant state for the spirit until it fully bonded with it's chosen companion.
His was a dark blue in color, with a lighter blue glow coming from it's center. There also seemed to be the occasional flash of light, almost like there was a lightning storm happening inside of it.
The auburn yelped when he was someone suddenly ran into him, nearly making both of them fall over. Jay made sure he still had a good grip on his egg, before glaring at the other teen, "Hey, just cause I'm small doesn't mean I'm invisible!"
The teen seemed to be older than him, with amber eyes, and spikey brown hair. He was wearing an old red t-shirt and jeans with stains on them. He seemed dazed for a second, then tensed up when he looked at Jay, entering what looked like some sort of defensive position.
"Whoa dude, I'm not going to hurt you. Heck my ma would probably tell ya I wouldn't hurt a fly," Jay stated.
The brunette dropped his stance, but he still looked tense, and Jay didn't like that nervous look in his eye.
"Sorry, I thought you where someone else," The amber eyed teen looked behind him, scanning the crowd, before giving out a loud whistle.
Jay was about to question what that was about when another whistle sounded from somewhere in the crowd.
The strange teen looked at him one more time, before suddenly running off and quickly disappearing in the sea of people.
The auburn stood in place for a few moments, trying to process what had just occurred, before deciding it would just be best to get back to his parents. Luckily one of the main gates for entering and exiting the spirit fields was ahead.
As soon as he walked through it though, he once again found himself being stopped by a stranger. This person was also a teen, addressed him by name.
"Hello Jay," he greeted," My name is Zane."
Zane was dressed much nicer than the previous teen, and all in white. His platinum blond hair seemed to be somehow defying gravity. That paired with his extremely pale skin and icy blue eyes made him really stand out from everyone else. What most caught Jay's attention was the small spirit sitting on his shoulder.
It was pure white, and it seemed to sparkle as if it was made out of snow. It's underbelly was a light blue color, as was also the color it's wings and tail faded to near the tips. It's dark blue eyes where focused on him, and a soft glow surrounded it.
"Hold on, Zane?" The auburn asked," As in Zane Julien, son of the world famous ?"
"That would be correct," The blond replied before he gestured to his spirit," And this is Shard."
"FSM, I can't believe I'm actually meeting the son of one of the most amazing people in the world, and you know my name, and this has got to be a dream, please tell me this isn't a dream!"
"I can assure you that you are very conscious right now and that this encounter is real," Zane responded," Now if you follow me, I believe that my father would like to meet you."
Jay gasped," Dr. Julien wants to meet me? B-but why, I'm not anyone special. I mean sure I got a spirit today, and it was my first time ever in the spirit fields, and it's near impossible for someone to get one their first time- "
"I'm not typically one to interrupt," The taller teen turned towards the cabin," But I would suggest that we don't keep my father waiting for to long. We do have a bit of a schedule."
"Oh right," The auburn chuckled nervously, starting to follow," Sorry, I have a tendency to ramble sometimes."

After a few minutes the pair managed to escape the crowd and made their way to an area of the cabin that only certain people where allowed to enter. Zane showed the person standing guard by the door his ID, and the teens where allowed through.
Jay glanced around the hallway they where now walking through, which was much quiter than the main room they had just been in. The walls where wooden, and various objects and pictures hung from the walls. The carpet was red, with gold designs running along the edges.
Zane stopped in front of a dark colored door and looked over at the younger teen.
"If you would please wait here, I need to speak to my father about something before he meets you. It shouldn't take more than a few minutes."
The auburn nodded as he watched the white clad teen open the door and enter, closing it behind him.
Now by himself in an unfamiliar environment Jay glanced around nervously. Spotting a chair nearby, he sat down there to wait. He still couldn't believe that he was about to meet one of his idles.
Just to be sure this wasn't a dream, he pinched his arm, and winced at the pain.
"Nope, not a dream."
He looked at his egg, that was currently in his lap, before hugging it again, enjoying the feeling he got from touching it. It also seemed to help him calm down a little.
Jay took a deep breath, and closed his eyes, another thing that sometimes helped to calm him down.
Feeling a little better, the teen looked back towards the door. This was really happening, Zane was about to come out that door with his father in tow, aand time seemed to be moving extremely slow just to tease him.
When he finally heard the door starting to open, he stood up and clutched his egg tighter, ready as he could possibly be to see the amazing inventor in person.
Sorry this is a bit short, I rewrote this a few times and this just seems to be what works best for this chapter. I hope you all enjoy :3
