"I'm telling you, Alice. He looked at me like I was digusting." I said to my best friend Alice Brandon, since second grade.
"Please Bella, you know its hard on your first day." she pleaded.
"Fine Alice, i'll try to be nice but if he just glares like today, i'm not going to be so nice." I replied.
"Thank You Bella!" she screamed with delight.
"Why does it matter to you anyways?" I asked, in a curious but angry voice.
"It just does, okay?" she said, and she seemed nervous.
We were walking to down the Ice cream Shoppe, we had just come home from school when i decided to tell her about Edward Masen.
"Whatever Alice. Let's go." i replied.
"Now remember Class, study your notes for tomorrow." Mr. Berty said for the tenth time today.
The Class had groaned in displeasure, The bell rung and i scurried out in to the hallway. I made my way to 's Classroom already dreading the hour because of one reason, Edward Masen. He walked through the doorway with his hair messy, like he had been pulling on it, he was wearing Aviators Sunglasses, as if to hide his eyes. He quickly walked to the row and sat down rigidly. "Alright Class, take out your books" said to the Class, droning on and on but I was to focused on Edward Masen to understand what he was saying. Edward was sitting on the short edge of his chair while he slouched over his desk and just stared at the desk but as if he could feel my eyes, he looked at me and even though he had sunglasses on, I could see his bloodshot eyes. He had been smoking.
Again, But I couldn't judge him because I didn't even know him. I still felt sad about the fact that he had smoked but I didn't say anything.
"Hello." Edward said in a soft voice.
I looked up startled by the softness in his voice.
"Hi-i-i" i stuttered out.
"Im Edward Masen, and you are?" he asked politely.
"Isabella Swan. Bella." i managed to say.
He nodded before turning back in his orginal position. This might start to be a better year.
