Disclaimer: I DONT OWN Okami, Clover Studios/Capcom does.
As night turned to day, the sun shone brightly in the Celestial Plain as Okami Amaterasu, the Sun Goddess of Nippon, laid in a grassy flower meadow. The ground sparkled slightly, as with the air, with Ammy's pure white and red form in the middle of it. The wolf had her head on her paws, with her eyes closed. A swirl of sparkles appeared, revealing Ushiwaka (Or just Waka) , the Moon tribesman. Ammy opened her eyes, and wagged her tail.
"Bonjour, Amaterasu." Waka moved to sit next to her, holding Pillow Talk in his hand. "How are you today?"
Ammy twiched her ears, and smoke surrounded her, before dispersing and revealing a beautiful woman with a happy smile. "I am doing fine Waka, and you?"
"Très bien." He smiled. Ammy moved her bangs out of her face, before looking off into the distance. "Its wonderful, being in your human form once again, Amaterasu?"
"Yes, and I'm positive the others feel the same as well." Her tone changed slightly. He noticed this. Waka stared at her for a moment, before asking, "Is there something wrong, ma chère?"
"Its nothing important." Ammy's reply was taut. Waka frowned, "Amaterasu..."
She smiled at him, "I've just been having some...problems lately."
"Problems? Of what?"
"I've...been having visions of a...white fox." Waka's sky-blue eyes widened. "A white fox?.."
"Do you know who that fox is?"
"No, but I have the inkling that its a...female." Ammy frowned slightly.
Waka frowned. "Has this been reacurring?"
"Yes."
"...Well I'm sure you'll figure out who this fox is soon, ma chère." Ammy smiled.
"I hope so Waka."
"MOTHER!" A distant voice called. A young girl ran up to them, the bells that made up her hair ties jingling all the while. Waka gave a smile, "Bonjour, Kabegami."
Panting a bit, the wall goddess politely greeted him back, "Hello, Waka."
"Is there something you need, Kabegami?"
She shook her head, her bells chimming at the motion. "No, I found something!"
Ammy's ears twitched. Despite being a god, Kabe was very childish. She found most things interesting, and also had a short memory span. At the most Kabe found small gems or smoothed rocks, stuff nothing of value. Did she find something of worth?
"Found what?"
"A statue! Of another god!"
Ammy's eyes widened. Okay, that was new. "Another god? Are you sure?"
"Yes! Its covered in moss, but its some sort of animal, I coudn't tell. It has the fur swirls and the markings that we all have!" Kabe's flailed her arms about with a look of urgency in her golden orbs. "Mother, you have to come see it!"
"...Alright." Might as well go see. It can't hurt. Amaterasu stood up. "Lead the way." Kabegami ran away towards the forest, Ammy followed at her own pace. Waka watched the two leave. The prophet had a thoughtful expression upon his face.
"It seems like it has begun. It's about time. I hope your ready for this Amaterasu. Things will become much more lively around here."
End of Ch.1
Meh, kind of a sucky chapter. I'll probably rewrite this sooner or later.
