I don't own anything, really. I own nothing... Enjoy. And I haven't read all of the books, so everything may not be in align with the actual story but that doesn't exactly matter since this is fiction. The first couple chapters are going to be a lot to read and kinda boring. I'm just trying to get the important information in.
Enjoy and review or pm me to tell me if the story is alright or not. Please and thanks.

Chapter 2:
The limo pulled into a stop outside the glass doors of the impossibly white building. The older guard unlocked the doors while the younger one quickly slid from his seat and ran around the car to open up the side door. Evie came out first, tossing her blue hair over her shoulder and waving cutely at him. Carlos next, he straightened his vest and nodded, Mal who did a two-finger salute, Elodie who blew a kiss, and then Jay who just glared at the guard. Soon enough all five teenagers were walking slowly to the double sliding doors.
There were five nurses all lined up with wheelchairs just inside the door. Three female nurses and two male nurses, some looked human others less so. In fact one of the male nurses appeared to have horns protruding from his head. Mal smirked, this place just kept getting cooler and cooler. One of the female nurses, tall and thin with long shiny blonde hair and pointy ears, stepped forward. She appeared to slightly fear the five teenagers that kept looking around the bright white building in awe.
"If you all can take a seat in one of the wheelchairs, ladies with the ladies, gentlemen with the gentlemen." Her voice was high-pitched and sing-songy. Mal rolled her eyes, she didn't understand what the deal was with Auradons and gender separation.
"Why do we have a take a seat?" Jay asked slowly, taking a step back. The impossibly tall nurse sighed heavily.
"Because it's hospital policy."
"Why would it be policy?" Elodie asked.
"Because it is." Tall nurse replied, it seemed that her fear had been replaced with irritation.
"What's a check up?" Carlos asked quickly.
"It's where we make sure that you are healthy. Now take a seat." Tall nurse clipped. The five exchanged looks, finally the plump nurse with a purple smile and matching, cascading purple locks, stepped forward with her wheelchair.
"Now children, my name is Nurse Penny, it's okay to be afraid, none of us are gonna harm you. We just want to make sure that you are all healthy, we don't want you getting sick over here. It's just one of our rules that patients can't be walking around. So if you don't mind taking a seat." Her voice was warm, caring. It pulled Evie forward, and she took a seat in the woman's chair.
"Come on guys. It can't be that bad." Evie said softly, Mal sat heavily in impossibly-tall-nurse's seat. Carlos took a seat with a man that looked completely normal, deep cocoa skin, warm eyes, Mal and Jay almost snorted. Carlos would choose the most non-threatening one there was available. Jay took a seat with horned man, and Elodie took a seat with the female nurse that she thought had scales covering bits of her arms and neck. Once everyone took a seat the nurses began to wheel everyone down the hall. They continued together for sometime, after a few minutes the nurses separated. The boys turned down a hall that the girls did not. Protests from the teens instantly began being shouted out, it was only Nurse Penny that offered consultation.
"Now now, you'll only be separated for a little bit. You girls have an extra test to be done, and the test is down this hall. You will all be reunited in the wing that the boys are in." That settled the girls down. Before Evie's head popped up.
"Wait, what test?"
...000...
Jay and Carlos however had not heard the news, and Jay was raising hell as Carlos peered passively at the horns on the man's head.
"Where are the girls? Why can't we be with the girls?" No answer. Jay groaned in frustration and repeated the question. Jay continued to shout, and Carlos continued to get queasier and queasier as he looked at the horns.
"The girls have a few different tests that they need to take. They will be back soon." The normal looking nurse said, he noticed he look of horror on Carlos' face and wheeled Carlos a few feet away.
"Tests? What tests?" Jay asked.
"We are going to run several tests on you guys, just to be sure you are healthy." the normal one answered again.
"Who- who are you?" Carlos asked, having found his voice.
"I'm Nurse LeRoux, but you can call me Landry." the normal one smiled at Carlos. The one with horns grunted as Landry elbowed him lightly.
"Names Nurse Conners, but you can call me Bevan." His voice was gruff. "Sit on the beds." Both boys did as they were told, Carlos more quickly than Jay. The nurses began working quickly and quietly. They took blood- which took some coaxing for Carlos, and a few milligrams of sedative for Jay who had attempted to beat Bevan. The nurses swapped the insides of both boys mouths and checked both boys over for signs of abuse, malnutrition, and other abnormalities.
Both nurses frowned as they came to conclusions for both boys' health. They had originally thought that both boys were just punks, but they were beginning to realize that they had entrapped innocent children on the island with people who were not good people for parents.

The same tests were being run on the girls, Nurses Penny, Clara, and Marigold were checking each girl over. Nurse Penny was looking over Mal's pale skin with her well-trained eye and she was trying not to let her emotions come to her face. Mal's back had old scars, bruises of varying stages of healing, and a couple lacerations. There was no doubt that Mal had been abused, and when she thought about it- she wasn't shocked. Mal's mother was Maleficent afterall, why was the woman permitted to keep Mal in the first place?
Nurse Clara was the one that was in charge of looking over Evie, and while she was surprised to see that Evie's skin was relatively flawless, a random scar here or there. She quickly realized that Evie's abuse had been more mental and emotional. She only learned of this when she and Evie had been talking about make up. Evie had causally commented that if her make up had looked as horrible as Clara's that her mother would have slapped her and made her reapply the make up, her mother was a queen afterall and could not afford an ugly daughter. It astounded her that these people were permitted to have their children, she never actually had put thought to it until hearing Evie speak. These people were not good, they would have been toxic to their children. None of them would be safe until they were in Auradon.
Nurse Marigold was looking over Elodie, her eyes were wide as she observed the bruising over the girl's small body. Handprints were evident, what looked like belt marks decorated the girl's back. What horrified her were the position of the bruised handprints on the Elodie's thighs. Marigold was barley keeping herself together as she finished taking blood and gathering the girl's DNA to ensure her identity was correct. She didn't care if this girl was or was not actually Elodie LeGume, she would house her in her small two-bedroom apartment if it came down to it.
In less than an hour all five were permitted to be in the same area again, Evie and Carlos were comparing bruises from their vaccinations, as Mal and Elodie stared at Jay. Jay was still doped up on sedatives, and was lounging in a bed as the girls watched him.
"He tried to fight the nurse when blood was getting ready to be drawn." Carlos pipped, Elodie and Mal shook their heads.
"Dumbass." Mal hissed, Elodie laughed, of course he did. Jay shifted and groaned.
"El?" He whispered. Elodie gave Mal a small smile and moved to Jay's side. She pressed her hand into his. Evie frowned as she watched the two. As much as she loved both of her friends she knew that their relationship would not last. Jay just thought he was her knight in shining armor, and Elodie loved the idea of being saved. Mal rolled her eyes, she just didn't believe in love or happy endings. But Elodie believed he was the one who saved her from a life of blind obedience. Carlos just thought that at some point the two were meant to meet, she saved him from his fathers beatings and he saved her from Gaston's influence.
They were meant to find each other at the very least.
