Since one of my school days were just me sitting with my laptop doing absolutely nothing, I decided to do another chapter.

Just another thing to add for my fanfiction:

-When it comes to fighting, both Dante and Vergil are pretty experienced in fighting. And what I mean by experienced is that:

-Imagine DMC4 Dante (being able to switch between styles any time) with DMC3 Weapons.
-Imagine DMC4 Vergil.
-Now imagine that in gameplay, but the person who's controlling both of them is Donguri990. (if you haven't heard of him, search for at least one of his DMC4SE montage videos. You'll see what I mean.)

Dante's POV

Vale - Skies

12:00 AM

Still waiting to arrive in Vale, Dante just looked out the aircraft window from the co-pilot's seat to see if he could see the city. While Dante was still looking, the pilot tried pulling out a handgun out of the glove compartment, hoping that he can catch Dante off guard. But without even looking at the pilot, Dante immediately pulled out Ivory and shot a bullet straight towards the pilot's handgun, piercing it and rendering it useless. Once that was done, Dante continued aiming his gun towards the pilot's face.

"Don't even try." Dante said.

"Hey! Be careful where you shoot that! This is an Atlas Registered Bullhead." The pilot exclaimed.

"Yeah. Yeah. Whatever. Not important." Dante said. "Atlas military. Don't care about any of that stuff."

"So...why are you going to Vale again?" The pilot asked.

"Dude, I've been saying this multiple times…" Dante said. "I'm trying to figure out why are there humans in the Demon World. And since there is some form of military present, there must be some form of civilization nearby."

"Demon World?" The pilot asked.

"Demon World? Human World? Temen-ni-gru? Ring any bells?" Dante asked.

Just hearing this, the pilot can't help but look at Dante with a confused look.

"You're making no sense…" The pilot said.

"My God...the first person I talk to in the Demon World just has to be clueless." Dante said.

"What are you talking about?" The pilot asked.

"What are you talking about?" Dante asked. "Look...just tell me what world this is."

"...Remnant. Why?" The pilot answered.

"Remnant? Never heard of it." Dante said. "You sure you're not pulling my leg?"

"Yes!" The pilot said. "Just ask anyone else and they'll respond with the same answer."

"Really now?" Dante asked. "Well, we'll see about that. For now, just drive."

"...If you say so…" The pilot muttered.

With that said, the pilot started driving the Bullhead once more.

"I think it's safe to say we're no longer in the Demon World…" Dante thought. "Pfft...nothing that bad. I'll probably get use to it."

"Lunatic…" The pilot muttered.

Just as the pilot said this, Dante started cocking Ivory's hammer once more and started aiming towards the pilot.

"I heard that." Dante said.

A bit frightened at Dante's gun, the pilot just looked forward and started flying the Bullhead to Vale.

Vergil's POV

Unknown Wasteland

12:05 AM

Back at the wasteland, the remaining soldiers were seen waiting for another Bullhead to pick them up. But while they were waiting, Vergil was seen hiding behind one of the collapsed buildings, overseeing and overhearing what the soldiers were doing and what they had to say.

"Anything from Ironwood yet?" Soldier 1 asked.

"He said he would be here in five minutes. But other than that, nothing really." Soldier 2 said.

"Though how are we going to explain that red coated individual to him?" Soldier 3 asked.

"Just tell him what we know." Soldier 2 responded. "He may not believe us, but it's better than lying to him."

"Though any idea where he's going?" Soldier 4 asked.

"Before the radio feed was cut off, the pilot stated that he was heading to Vale." Soldier 1 responded.

This one detail immediately caught Vergil's attention.

"So Dante's heading to Vale huh?" Vergil thought. "Then I guess that's where I'm going. Although…"

While Vergil was thinking of a way to head back to Vale, he started hearing noises in the building that he was in. Looking at what the noise was, Vergil just saw a small flock of small black birds flying towards him. To stop them from charging towards him, Vergil summoned a storm of spectral swords towards each of the birds, piercing their heads and killing them instantly. While it was able to kill them with ease, the noise that was produced when Vergil summoned the swords started echoing throughout the collapsed building. Of course, this caught the attention of the soldiers that were in the area.

"You guys hear that?" Soldier 1 said.

"Yeah, it's coming from over there." Soldier 5 said while looking at the collapsed building Vergil was in.

Saying this, the five soldiers started approaching the collapsed building with their rifles ready. Entering the building, the soldiers searched far and wide to see what the source of that noise was. Even though they had flashlights attached to their rifles to help them see in the dark, it showed no help whatsoever.

"See anything?" Soldier 2 asked.

"Nothing." Soldier 3 responded.

While those two soldiers were still searching for the source of that noise, a black wolf demon started creeping up behind them. Once the demon was close enough, it let out a huge roar before swinging its claws towards both of the soldiers. But as soon as it raised it claws, it just stood there like it was a statue. Curious to see what happened, one of the soldiers tapped their rifles towards the demon's standing body. But as soon as the soldier did this, the demon was horizontally bisected, causing the upper half to slowly slide down until it fell towards the ground.

"Ew…" Soldier 3 said.

"Woah…" Soldier 2 said.

"Looks like we're not alone." Soldier 3 asked.

"We better inform the rest of the group." Soldier 2 said while leading the other soldier to the rest of the group.

Once the two soldiers left, Vergil stepped out of the shadows and slowly sheathed his Yamato. With that done, Vergil started teleporting towards the upper levels of the collapsed building so he could both hide from the soldiers and look out for their Bullhead. Teleporting even further, Vergil reached the broken rooftop off the building.

"Military. Humans. Aircrafts. This doesn't look like the Demon World to me." Vergil thought while standing on top of the building. "I guess I'll find more answers in this so called 'City of Vale'..."

Dante's POV

Vale - Streets

12:10 AM

Once Dante landed in Vale, he started looking around to see if there were any demons present in the city. But after walking for only two minutes, Dante only now finds out that there are no signs of demons whatsoever. It was just like any other town that was in the Human World. Civilization was present, no demons were present, and the electricity was working.

"So...this so called world is Remnant huh?" Dante asked. "Seems interesting. Not that much demons, there's actually civilization, and the electricity is pretty good. Man, I would dream living here."

Walking around even more, Dante eventually reached a store that went by the name "From Dust till Dawn." Knowing that it was a convenience store, Dante decided to enter the store to see what was in it.

Vale - From Dust Till Dawn

12:12 AM

Entering the store, Dante just saw numerous snack stands, magazine stands, and unusual crystal stands. Once he looked at his surroundings, Dante decided to walk towards one of the snack stands, grab a pack of gum, and decided to buy it.

"So how much?" Dante asked the shopkeeper.

As a response to this, the shopkeeper pointed towards the cash register, only to show it was 1.00.

"Heh...I got that." Dante said while pulling out a $1 bill and placing it on the counter.

Once it was on the counter, Dante slowly slid the bill towards the shopkeeper. But what surprised Dante was that the shopkeeper refused his bill.

"What?!" Dante asked. "You don't accept dollars?"

Hearing this, the old shopkeeper just shrugged a bit, as if he has never heard of dollar bills.

"Then what do you accept?" Dante asked.

Opening his cash register, the old man just showed a different set of bills that were pretty new to Dante. Not only were the bills huge, but they had a metallic-like texture on them. Looking closer, Dante just saw the words "Lien".

"Lien huh?" Dante asked. "Well...so much for buying food here…"

Tossing the pack of gum back, Dante decided to walk towards the magazine stand, hoping to see some magazines that would interest him. But before walking there, Dante turned back to the cashier.

"By the way, this is Remnant, right?" Dante asked.

As a response to this, the old man just nodded his head while tilting his head in confusion.

"I see...thanks." Dante said before walking back to the magazine stand.

Looking at the magazine stand, Dante looked at one interesting magazine that caught his attention. Looking at the magazine, Dante noticed that it was focused solely on weapons. While the title of the magazine was pretty bland, being just "Weapons", the thing that caught his attention were the weapons featured on the title page.

"Hm...these look cool." Dante said while grabbing a magazine.

Opening the magazine, all Dante saw were numerous types of weapons that are available in Remnant. But what made each of these weapons unique were the fact that each of them were gun hybrids. Gun-sword hybrids, gun-staff hybrids, gun-lance hybrids, and so much more. That alone just made Dante whistle in awe.

"These look interesting to use." Dante said while looking at the magazine.

Still infested in the magazine, Dante started leaning on one of the stands while still reading the magazine. While Dante was still reading, a familiar looking girl that wore black and red clothing started approaching the magazine stand. Walking around Dante, the girl tried looking for one specific magazine, only to see that Dante was reading the last copy of the "Weapons" magazine. Standing in front of Dante, she just waited for him until he was done reading. Seeing this, Dante slowly lowered the magazine and started looking at her.

"...Can I help you?" Dante asked.

"...Mind if I read that once you're done?" The girl asked.

"...Sure." Dante said before closing the magazine. Once Dante did this, he tossed the magazine towards her, who tried catching it with slight struggle. "In fact, you can read it now. I'm pretty much done anyways."

"Oh! Thanks!" The girl said.

With the magazine in her possession, the girl put on her headphones and started reading the magazine. Once she started reading, Dante, knowing that he has nothing else to do here, decided to head towards the exit and roam around the city even more.

"Though...didn't she seem a bit too young to read that magazine?" Dante thought.

As soon as Dante left the store, he noticed a group of people casually walking towards the store front. What really caught Dante's attention was one specific person, who was wearing a white coat, bowler hat, and was smoking a cigar while holding a fancy looking cane. I don't know about you, but that design was pretty much a red flag for Dante. Passing them, Dante just saw all of them enter the store at once.

"Heh...looks like the posse are here." Dante smirked while glancing at the approaching group. "Alright, guess I have a job to do. But at the very least, I could finally get some action in this place."

Turning back to the store, Dante started walking back to the entrance, hoping he could try stopping the gang that just entered the store. But as soon as Dante was close to the entrance, he saw a thug get kicked out of the store window, forcing him to casually sidestep out of the way to dodge the flying body. Looking at the window, Dante just saw the thugs looking out the window. To see who they were looking at, Dante turned around, only to see the girl he met with earlier. Only this time, she was holding a red gigantic scythe that had a high calibur rifle attached to it. Once the thugs were now out of the store, she started spinning her scythe around and implanted it straight in the ground, as if she was taunting the thugs.

"Okay then…" The thug in the white coat said. Looking at the remaining thugs, he proceeded to gesture his head as if he commanded the thugs to get the girl.

With that said, the thugs jumped out of the store window and started charging towards the girl. But since they were following the typical "Bad guys attacking one by one" cliche, she found no struggle in fighting them off.

The first thug that ran towards the girl was immediately kicked straight in the face once she started spinning on the top of her planted scythe. Once the thug was kicked, she pulled the scythe out of the ground and turned towards the three remaining thugs. Using the recoil of her scythe, she started spinning around and used the momentum to knock one of the thugs into the air. Continuing to use the momentum, she used the blunt end of her scythe to smash one of the thugs into the ground. The last thug tried firing at the girl, but due to how fast she was dodging the bullets via the recoil of her scythe, he was unable to get one shot from her. Still puzzled at the fast speed of the girl, the thug immediately noticed that the girl proceeded to slide kick towards him, knocking him into the air. Once the thug was in the air, she used the sharp end of her scythe to balance herself into the air, only to kick the airborne thug back to the ground.

And while all of that is happening, Dante can't help but look a bit impressed at the girl.

"Whew...that was pretty stylish." Dante said.

Just as Dante said this, the thug in the white coat started pointing his cane towards him. But looking at him, Dante can't help but tilt his head in confusion. I mean, what will pointing a cane at Dante do anyways?

"Oh? Are you going to bludgeon me with your walking stick, gramps?" Dante asked.

"Far from it." The thug in the white coat said.

Saying this, Dante just saw a reticle pop from the end of the cane. Noticing this, Dante immediately used Trick to teleport out of the way. Just as Dante did this, the thug in the white coat shot a flare out of his cane, creating a small explosion once it made impact with the ground. Looking around to see where Dante went, he just felt someone tapping on his shoulder. Turning around, Dante proceeded to punch the thug straight in the face with Beowolf, knocking him back a few feet.

"Woah…" The girl muttered.

"Didn't you mother ever tell you not to play with explosions?" Dante asked the thug.

A bit provoked at Dante's taunt, the thug in the white coat casually dusted his coat and looked at both Dante and the girl who was seen standing in front of him.

"God...two against one." The thug in the white coat said. "Well, as much as I like to stay…"

Grabbing his cane once more, he started pointing his cane towards the girl.

"I believe this is where we say our 'farewells'." the thug said before shooting a flare towards the girl in red.

Seeing the flare head towards her, the girl tried dodging out of the way. But before she could dodge, Dante dashed right in front of her and proceeded to block the flare with his Royalguard style. After blocking the flare, Dante checked his coat to see if it was damaged.

"At least my coat isn't charred from that." Dante muttered while dusting his coat.

While Dante was busying checking his coat for any more damage, the girl can't help but be speechless at what Dante did. After all, he did effortlessly block a flare while attaining no damage whatsoever.

"Woah. How'd you do that?" The girl asked.

"Does it matter?" Dante asked. "Where's the thug that shot that thing?"

Looking around, the girl just saw him climbing up a ladder leading to a rooftop.

"Over there!" The girl said.

"So...are you going to just stand there or are you going to get him?" Dante asked.

"Just a second." The girl said. Saying this, she turned towards the old shopkeeper that was behind her. "Mind if I go after him?"

As a response, the old man just grunted as if he was allowing her to go after them. Nodding as a response, she turned towards Dante, who just had a confused look on his face like always.

"Why'd you need to ask?" Dante asked.

"Does it matter?" The girl smirked before using the recoil of her scythe to launch herself towards the rooftop.

"Hey..." Dante said, knowing that he said the same thing.

Swapping into his Trickster style, Dante used Trick to teleport straight towards the rooftop. Because of this, he was able to catch up to the girl in time. Just looking back, the girl can't help but ask Dante about his abilities.

Vale - Rooftop

12:20 AM

"You know, after this is done, you have to tell me how you were able to block that flare with ease and teleport like that." The girl said.

"Perhaps." Dante said while running towards the thug, who was seen running towards a Bullhead.

Seeing this, the girl started following Dante until they finally caught up to the thug, who was seen standing in front of a Bullhead. Seeing this, he can't help but roll his eyes in annoyance. But before he could anything against them, he started entering the Bullhead just in case.

"Persistent aren't you?" the thug in the white coat said. Reaching into his pocket, he threw a red crystalrystal towards both Dante and the girl. "End of the line, Red...er...Reds!"

Saying this, the thug shot a flare towards the crystal, causing a chain reaction to cause it explode. Just as he did this, he can't help but laugh as if he was victorious.

Of course, he was proven wrong. But not in the way he thought.

Looking closer at the both Dante and the girl, the thug noticed that another person was with them. This time, it was a blond lady that was holding a riding crop. And this lady specifically blocked the flare with ease. Only this time, it was with what seemed to look like magic.

"Woah...you're a Huntress." The girl said in awe while looking at the blonde lady.

"Huntress? As in...another Demon Hunter?" Dante thought.

Ignoring the girl's remark, the blonde lady started conjuring numerous things to stop the Bullhead from flying away. Whether it'd be ice crystals, a black cloud, or even magical purple streaks. Seeing this, the thug started entering the cockpit to warn the pilot.

"We got a Huntress!" the thug in the white coat said, causing the pilot to switch places with him.

While the blonde lady was too busy attacking the Bullhead, the pilot, who was seen as a female wearing a red dress, started walking towards the Bullhead door. Seeing her, the lady in red started conjuring up multiple fire pillars to prevent her from attacking the ship even more. Once she dodged the pillars, the blonde lady used the debris from said pillars to conjure up a giant rock spike to that was sent flying towards the Bullhead. To prevent this, the lady in red shot multiple fire blasts that caused the spike to break into multiple pieces. Using even more telekinesis, the blonde lady used the debris to encircle the Bullhead. But to stop this once more, the lady in red charged up some energy to disintegrate every single piece of debris.

Knowing she can't stand there, she tried shooting numerous rounds towards the lady in red. But what surprised the girl was that she effortlessly blocked her bullets with her hands. To counter this, the lady in red conjured even more fire pillars, forcing the blonde lady and the girl to dodge roll out of the way.

Meanwhile, Dante was just watching as if he didn't care about the current situation at hand.

"Are you going to help us or not?" The blonde lady asked Dante.

"I was hoping you would say that. Just wanted to give you guys a chance at this." Dante said before teleporting towards the Bullhead.

Equipping Kalina Ann, Dante used the grappling hook to latch onto the Bullhead. Once Dante was under the Bullhead, Dante started shooting multiple rockets at it, causing it to lose balance severely. Still attached to the Bullhead, Dante kept swinging himself until he finally reached one side of the Bullhead. Once in the air, Dante started dashing and teleporting towards the Bullhead until he was finally in. Once he was inside, he stood right in front of the lady in red as if he didn't care that she could incinerate him without a second thought. But instead of fighting her, Dante pulled out Ebony and shot numerous bullets straight towards the Bullhead control panel, causing them to malfunction severely. And to make sure it could crash faster, Dante pulled out Beowolf and used Volcano to punch a gigantic hole in the Bullhead. Because of this, the Bullhead started falling out of the sky until it finally crash landed in an outside part of Vale.

Luckily before it crashed, Dante just saluted the lady, only to teleport out of the Bullhead shortly after.

Though seeing this, the girl and the blonde lady decided to follow Dante in case he needed any help.

"Should we follow?" The girl asked.

"We should." The blonde lady responded. "But as for you...I need to talk to you later."

Vale - Crash Site

12:30 AM

Seeing the Bullhead crash, Dante walked towards it to see the damage the aircraft caused. Still a bit far, Dante just saw the thug in the white coat running away from a distance. Instead of chasing after him, Dante decided to check the Bullhead. But once Dante was near the Bullhead, he turned around and dodged an incoming fireball that was aimed towards him. Looking forward, all Dante saw was the red dress lady glaring at him. But since she was no longer concealed in the shadows, Dante saw more physical features of the lady. These include orange eyes, glass heels, and black hair.

"Looks like I have to do everything myself…" The lady in red muttered.

"Same…" Dante responded.

"Hmph...what makes you think you'll stand a chance against me?" The lady in red asked.

"Trust me lady, this won't be the first time I had to fight some old person that is incompetent with their powers." Dante said while referring to Arkham.

"...You'll regret saying that." The lady in red said while glaring at Dante.

Saying this, Dante equipped Rebellion and dashed towards her with his Stinger ability. This, of course, staggered her a bit and gave Dante enough time to continue a combo. Swinging Rebellion upwards, Dante launched her into the air. Once she was airborne, Dante teleported towards her, equipped Cerberus, and started swinging it numerous times, damaging her even more. Not only that, but because Dante was jump-cancelling constantly, the amount of attacks he was able to dish out was staggering. Of course, Dante continued to do this, until she was finally on the ground enduring every hit. Once she was on the ground, Dante equipped Beowolf and started using Killer Bee while jump-cancelling like always, foot diving in almost every single window of opportunity. After a few more Killer Bees, Dante pulled out his Shotgun and started shooting it numerous times while jump-cancelling off of her, increasing the firing rate without any explanation whatsoever. Of course, since Dante was very close to her, she had to endure the maximum damage output from the gun itself.

To stop Dante, the lady in red conjured a gigantic shockwave that pushed Dante a few feet back. Once Dante recovered, he just stood up, dusted his coat a bit, and started taunting her.

"Come on wimp…" Dante said to her while gesturing his hand as if he wants her to get him.

Angered at this, the lady in red started shooting multiple fireballs towards Dante. But with no care whatsoever, Dante swapped into his Trickster style and started dashing from side to side, dodging every single fireball with ease. Knowing that fireballs won't work, she tried conjuring numerous pillars to rupture out of the ground. But, like the last attack, Dante just dashed out of the pillar's radius and continued approaching her. But as soon as Dante was right in front of her, she started charging up some energy. Before Dante could attack her, the lady in red blasted a huge beam of fire towards him. Once she was done firing that beam, she saw no trace of Dante whatsoever.

"Heh...this is why you don't underestimate me." The lady in red said.

"I could say the same again." Dante said while casually walking towards her.

Looking back at Dante, the lady in red just saw that he was unscathed from her attack. And like expected, she can't help but be shocked at what happened.

"But...how?" The lady in red asked.

"Pfft...you know how hard it was to parry that thing?" Dante asked while still using his Royalguard style. "If I screwed up, I definitely would've charred my coat."

"You…" The lady in red said while extending her palm towards Dante.

"Sweet...a high five. I could do the same." Dante said while extending his palm as well.

However, only this time, Dante immediately used Release on the lady in red, redirecting all the damage he has parried towards her with a single palm strike. And since Dante used Release just before she used an attack, Dante instead executed Just Release, dealing even more damage than before. And since Dante parried a flare, a few pillars, and a beam of fire, that alone just severely damaged her. So much so that the damage output from Dante's attack was so powerful, it pushed her towards a nearby building, causing her to crash into it. Slowly approaching the lady, Dante can't help but taunt her even more.

"C'mon...is that all?" Dante asked. "What happened to that whole 'what makes you think you'll stand a chance against me' personality."

Angered even more, the lady in red let out all of her energy to release an even bigger shockwave than before. Only this time, Dante showed some visible damage from the attack. But like every single attack that he had to endure, he just healed from it as if nothing happened.

"Coward…" Dante said.

While Dante was too busy being a bit pissed off at the lady in red, he just heard the blonde lady and the girl calling out.

"He must be here." The blonde lady said while leading the young girl to the crash site. Of course, she was right and saw Dante standing right in front of the crashed Bullhead. "Are you alright?"

"Better than ever. Why?" Dante asked.

"Huh, that's pretty surprising. I was expecting you to be a bit injured. No offense." The blonde lady said. Looking around though, she found no sight of the lady Dante was fighting. "Though...where's that other girl?"

"Beats me. I was about to finish her off until she ran away somewhere." Dante said.

"Well regardless, at least you're alright." The blonde lady said.

"Though let me say this once: THAT WAS SO AWESOME!" The girl said in awe. "Like, how you were dashing and teleporting from the Bullhead and single handedly caused it to crash like that."

"Please...you don't need to emphasise that." Dante said as if he was flattered.

"Young man, even though you failed to apprehend Roman and…" The blonde lady said.

"Who?" Dante asked.

"The one wearing the bowler hat." The blonde lady said.

"Ah…" Dante said. "Continue."

"Anyways, even though you failed to catch Roman and his accomplice, you were able to stop the robbery." The blonde lady said.

"And don't forget about this." Dante said while throwing a briefcase towards the blonde lady.

Looking at the briefcase for a moment, the blonde lady opened it, only to see numerous capsules and crystals containing Dust.

"Before I teleported out of that so called 'Bullhead', I was able to retrieve that." Dante said.

"Wow. This is even more impressive." The blonde lady said. "Before I could thank you, mind telling me your name?"

"It's…" Dante said.

But before Dante could say his name, a bright spotlight started shining towards him. Looking up, Dante just saw a Bullhead descend from above while dropping a small squad of Atlas Soldiers. Seeing this, the blonde lady and the girl started backing up a bit to see what was going to happen.

"Great...Atlas soldiers..." Dante muttered.

"PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR!" Atlas Soldier 6 said while aiming his rifle towards Dante.

"Ugh...not this again." Dante said.

"I SAID PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR!" Atlas Soldier 6 repeated.

"Fine. But only because it'll shut you up." Dante said while raising his hands in the air.

While Dante was raising his hands, the blonde lady just started pushing the soldiers out of the way to see Dante.

"Glynda Goodwitch. We didn't expect to see you here." Atlas Soldier 7 said.

"What's the meaning of this?" Glynda asked an Atlas Soldier.

"Miss, this young man is responsible for grand theft auto and aggravated assault." Atlas Soldier 6 responded. "According to our scouts, he apparently stole an Atlas registered aircraft."

"I wouldn't say steal. I would say that I…'hitched' a ride." Dante said.

"The pilot you were with said otherwise." Atlas Soldier 7 said.

Of course, Dante knew he messed up there. After all, threatening someone at gunpoint would be considered a crime.

"Oh...right. Forgot I did that." Dante said.

"Not only that, but you are being charged with the damage of an Atlas Bullhead and property damage." Atlas Soldier 7 said.

"What?! You think I caused this?" Dante asked.

"I'm not talking about that Bullhead." Atlas Soldier 7 said. "I'm talking the Bullhead you hitched a ride on. Apparently, one of your bullets accidentally pierced one of the controls. As for property damage...it speaks for itself."

"So what? I'm getting arrested?" Dante asked.

"I'm afraid so." Atlas Soldier 6 said.

"OH! THAT'S BULL-" Dante said.

"I'm sorry officer, but I think I have a need to intervene on this." Glynda interrupted. "Even if he did do these crimes, which I think is stupid, he still helped us stop a robbery."

"Sorry Miss, but even then, until court says otherwise, we can't do anything about it." Atlas Soldier 6 said. "Now if you'll excuse us, we'll be making an arrest sooner or later."

"If...you say so…" Glynda said before moving out of the way.

"Hey, at least you tried." Dante said. "But regardless, I'm not coming with you guys."

"You think you could escape from us?" Atlas Soldier 6 asked. "It's one against seven."

"Bet?" Dante asked.

Just as Dante said this, he equipped Beowolf and punched the ground using Volcano, making a shockwave so powerful, it pushed the Atlas Soldiers a few feet back. While they were still in the air due to the shockwave, Dante pulled out Agni and Rudra and started spinning the swords as such a fast rate, he made a Twister that pushed the soldiers back even more. Once the soldiers landed, they immediately raised their guns, only to see that Dante was no longer there.

"He's gone…" Atlas Soldier 9 said.

"Call Ironwood. Tell him to initiate a manhunt as soon as possible." Atlas Soldier 10 said.

"Understood." Atlas Soldier 10 said.

While all of that was happening, Glynda and the girl just stood there while trying to comprehend what just happened.

"Woah." The girl said. "That was so cool!"

Once she said this, Glynda immediately turned towards her with a glare.

"Miss, you are in some trouble." Glynda said.

"What?! Why!?" The girl asked.

"You'll find out soon enough." Glynda responded. "But after what happened today, you're not in that much trouble. So follow me. We have a lot to talk about."

"Aw…" The girl muttered while being a bit bummed out. "Can I still get an autograph?"

"No." Glynda answered.

With her hopes crushed, the girl just decided to follow Glynda to wherever she was leading her. But while on her way there, she just thought who exactly was that man in the red coat. Not only does she not know his name, but he has yet to explain his powers to her.

Vergil's POV

Unknown Wasteland

12:40 AM

After waiting for some time, the aircraft that was meant to pick up the remaining soldiers finally came.

"Well, it's about time you came." Soldier 1 said.

"It took some time. But it's better than nothing." The pilot said. "Now get on. Ironwood has started a manhunt for that man in the red coat you were talking about earlier."

"That's good to hear." Soldier 1 said.

Saying this, the five soldiers started entering the aircraft. But while they were entering, they heard an odd sounding noise.

"You guys hear that?" Soldier 2 asked.

"Probably just your imagination." The pilot said.

"Perhaps." Soldier 2 said.

But in actuality, the noise they heard was in fact Vergil, who was seen teleporting to the top of the aircraft.

"Dante's wanted? Pfft...this may be fun." Vergil said.

Once Vergil said this, he proceeded to teleport inside the aircraft alongside the rest of the soldiers.

"Wait...who are you?" Soldier 1 said.

Without responding to his question, Vergil gripped onto his Yamato and proceeded to smack everyone, except the pilot with his sheath.

The main reason Vergil decided to use non-lethal ways to beat these soldiers is because should he ever kill them, he would be a wanted criminal like Dante. And that is something Vergil didn't want to take care of.

After a few more attacks, Vergil finally used the end of his katana to knock all of them out with ease. Once the five soldiers were out cold, Vergil unsheathed Yamato and pointed it at the pilot.

"Drive." Vergil said.

"Where though?" The pilot asked.

"...To Vale." Vergil responded.

"If you say so…" The pilot muttered. "It's like the man in the red coat all over again."

Though as soon as the pilot said this, Vergil teleported towards the co-pilot seat and rested Yamato on the pilot's throat.

"Say that again, and I'm slicing your throat off." Vergil said.

"...Today is not my day, isn't it…?" The pilot muttered.

Having no choice, the pilot started driving Vergil to Vale, leaving the wasteland in the process.

Anyways that's the end of that chapter.

Though like mentioned earlier, I only released a chapter since I pretty much did nothing today. So probably after Chapter 3, I will have some trouble with typing due to school.

And like with all my other fanfictions, I'll be responding to reviews:

Reviews:

Diabetes4dinner:
-Can't really say anything about that without spoiling it. So you have to wait for Chapter 3.

Ultimate Kuuga:
-Thank you. I appreciate the support.

Shadow Joestar:
-As much as I hate to say this, I have no future plans on romance. It's just that I'm not good at doing those kinds of fanfictions. If that disappoints you, I'm very sorry.

Ohh:
-Thanks for the support!

RowboatGirlyMan:
-Your prayers have been answered.
-Thanks for the support like always.

SilentXD7:
-After having some fun with it, I plan on continuing this.
-Nonetheless, thanks for the support.
