CHAPTER ONE: HATCHING
Long ago before man, mammoths, or mathadons, there was the time of the dinosaurs. Now the dinosaurs were of two main kinds. Some had Flat Teeth and ate the leaves. There were others with Sharpteeth that ate meat. They preyed upon the Leaf Eaters, among others.
The leaves began to die out. This was bad as the Leaf Eaters were controlled by the leaf. Some set out west toward the Great Valley, a place with tons of green food. It was a journey toward life.
The journey was dangerous. Sharpteeth stalked the herds, looking for stragglers to eat. The Leaf Eaters only stopped to hatch their young.
A Saurolophus hatched some kids. One of them was named Ducky. She hatched from her egg. It went rolling down from her nest. She went after a bug and tried to grab it. She broke fully out of her egg. She went all over the place, including almost going into the mouth of a turtle. Her mother went and got her. "Mama!" said Ducky.
