Part II

"Hey," the simple word floated through her room in silence, and she turned to see Haru leaning near the doorway. He had leather pants on today with a black long-sleeved shirt. His buckles and long necklaces looked at home around his white neck, and his hair was just the way she liked it, messy but not messy, just right. He looked at her with his gray, shimmery eyes and his eyes widened in fraction with concern. She realized she hadn't talked yet.

"Hi... how was school?" she asked keeping her voice even despite the hitch in her throat.

He lowered his eyes as he dropped his back-pack to the floor in front of her bed, spreading out his long limbs in a stretch with a yawn. "It was okay. Kyo had a fit when he saw Momiji in the girl uniform." he said in his monotone voice.

She smiled lightly and turned back around to her sketch-book, keeping it open despite the trance she managed to find herself in while staring at the glorious flower bed below her window.

"What are you thinking about?" he asked, suddenly close, his breath warm on her cheek. She controlled the flush that threatened to break on her face.

"Nothing, I'm bored," she stated simply, closing her sketch-book before his prying eyes could see any more of her drawing. The drawing that was of flowers and grass, but that was interrupted by her daydreams, the image of a certain white-haired boys eyes peeking up at her between the petals.

Well, wadcha think? This is before she and Haru you know... "Hooked up"... *winkwink*.
