A/N: So, I decided to add a couple more chapters to this! I can't promise any regular updates because of the other stories I have but this story will have a little more to it. Thank you for reading and I would really love to know what you think!

Half an hour was how long Rachel's set lasted, and everyone kept asking for more but Quinn understood entirely the reason, Rachel Berry had the most honest, amazing, impressive and heartwarming voice that Quinn had ever heard, and she loved music. She couldn't put into words what she was feeling, she was mind blown and excited and intrigued and her heart hadn't stopped pounding since Rachel let out the first note, and she couldn't control herself enough to even get another picture. She actually had to step outside the establishment because she felt lightheaded and needed fresh air, and not outside as in the front entrance, she had asked the barista where was the back entrance so she could talk to Rachel once she went out.

Quinn was leaning back on a wall, with her eyes closed and a smile on her face, she had never felt like that before, she thought she knew what happiness was but she had never felt that warmth in her chest that she was feeling now.

"This is ridiculous, you know that right? You don't even know her. But GOD, what a voice, and those eyes and those legs. Jesus, you're insane."

She chuckled at her own thoughts, she had always considered herself somewhat of a cynic when it came to love, the only good reference she had about it was from her two best friends from highschool, they had started dated in sophomore year and were still together, but other than that she had never really given love a second thought, she was sure she didn't need it. She had kept it hidden in the back of her mind, she had dated and had flings and had really cared about the girls she had dated but she wasn't sure she had ever been in love. And for her to be feeling like that, and at first sight was something completely unimaginable.

But the truth was that she had never felt that excited about anyone before, New York City never stopped surprising her.

There was noise coming from inside the building and her heart started pounding even harder in her chest, then the door opened and she heard that magical voice saying goodbyes and thank you and she had to take a moment to collect herself, to make sure she would be actually able to say something and not just stammer a bunch of nonsense. The door was closed and there was just Rachel and her in the alley, Rachel was standing with her back to Quinn and she tried to say something but apparently her voice had chosen that exact moment to fail.

"Dammit. Say something!"

She pushed herself off of the wall with her elbows and just when she was about to call out for Rachel, her phone started ringing startling both of them. Rachel jumped and took a couple of steps away from her, hand in her chest and breathing heavily.

"Shit… I'm sorry, wait. Sorry. Let me just… Yeah? Yes, Mike I will be there. Yeah, I know I said that last time, but I promise I will be there I'm just going to be a little late but I will come. Yeah, you too. Bye."

She hung up and put her phone back inside her jacket and looked up at the girl in front of her, whom still had her hand pressed against her chest, Quinn just wanted to punch herself in the face, apologize and walk away, but she was already there and that would be even more embarrassing.

"Hello, I'm sorry about uhm, that. I didn't mean to startle you or frighten you, I apologize."

Rachel's brown eyes seemed no longer scared, they were intense again, like they were inside on the stage and Quinn forgot, for a moment, what she wanted to say, it was like looking at her from behind the lenses of her camera again.

"Oh! I'm Quinn, sorry I'm not usually that rude but I'm just still a little star struck, you have an amazing voice. You are also really beautiful so you'll have to excuse me for forgetting myself just there."

Rachel raised her eyebrow and moved her hand from her chest to her hair, long loose curls, and let it run through them, shaking them a little the hand was almost at the end of them and Quinn followed the movement with her eyes as if it was the most magnificent thing anyone had ever done, then Rachel licked her lips and, unconsciously, Quinn did too.

"I remember you, you're the girl with the camera, right? I was wondering why you had left actually, I was a little disappointed when I couldn't find you inside. It's a pleasure, Quinn. I'm assuming you already know this but still, manners right? I'm Rachel."

Quinn smiled and extended her hand for Rachel to take, the girl rolled her eyes a little a steady smile on her face too, took Quinn's hand and shook it. Quinn had never felt as cheerful as she was at that moment, she was honestly happy.

"So, who were you talking to? It sounded like you have some place else to go to? I gotta say Quinn, sneaking on someone like that is a little creepy. I usually carry pepper spray, you know?"

"Noted. And I'm sorry, again, I didn't mean to sneak up on you like you said, I was just well… nervous. I'm usually not so poorly verbal but well. But, yeah kinda, I am expected to go somewhere else, a good friend is having a party and I have missed his last couple of parties, so that's why he was calling me. I'll have to punch him for that later."

"A good friend, huh? Or your boyfriend maybe?"

The smile on Quinn's face had become a full grin, she really liked Rachel, she was witty and beautiful and talented and Quinn would gladly ditch the party (surely Mike would understand) to spend more time with her.

"I wouldn't have waited for you and made a fool out of myself if I had a boyfriend, Rachel. Would you… maybe, would you like to walk with me for a little while? I can walk you home or we could get dinner, or just wander around. This city is really a magical place."

Quinn started feeling a little nervous; she hadn't really planned on anything when she decided to wait for Rachel, and it definitely didn't occur to her the possibility that Rachel might say no to whatever she asked her. She bit her bottom lip in anticipation and stuck her hands in the pockets of her jacket, holding onto the fabric inside.

She watched as Rachel, very obviously, deliberated her decision, how her eyes scanned her entirely and how she licked her lips again before pursing her lips. Quinn was convincing herself that the girl would say no when Rachel nodded her head slowly but surely.

"Okay. Alright then creep, let's walk."
