I wrote about three chapters to this last night. I know 1 am writing isn't exactly good, but I patched it up this morning and I hope you enjoy it! I do not OHSHC.
"No." Haruhi looked at the frilly 'traveling' dress the twins picked out for her. Currently they were at the train station, and the twins wanted her to change into something better suited for a long trip. "There is no way I'm wearing that."
"But Haruhi, you'd look so cute in it!" Hikaru shoved the bag containing it towards her, and conveniently closer to Kaoru.
"It'll be more comfortable than those rags you're wearing!" Kaoru shoved her into the women's bathroom. Haruhi stumbled into the bathroom, and just before the door closed, she heard them yell that their train left in ten minutes and that if she was not changed they would leave her there. Normally, she would be thrilled that they were leaving her alone. But since the station was so far from home and she had no money for a cab, it was a pretty good threat.
"Great." Haruhi frowned at the dress, but reluctantly changed anyway. She had to say, it was a pretty cute dress. It was a dark blue sun dress, which reached down to her knees. And while she hated to admit it, it was pretty comfortable too. "Not bad I guess." She stuffed her other clothes in the bag and stepped out.
Almost immediately she was bombarded with squeals from her senpais. The twins, however, were no where to be found. But before she could wonder about their wherea-bouts, her train of thought was interrupted by a high pitched voice. "Haru-chan, you look so cute! It looks really good on you!" Mitsukuni picked up a corner of the material and felt it in his fingers. "Its so soft! Like Usa-chan is!" Haruhi couldn't help but smile at her small senpai. Honey may be childish, but he did have a good sense in fashion. It made her feel a tad-bit more secure about her looks.
"My darling daughter you look-" Tamaki was stopped from glomping Haruhi by Kyouya, who simply nodded in approval and went back to his work. "Mommy why..." Kyouya easily shook off his dejected look and continued typing away.
"You guys think so? The twins were right I guess." Haruhi played with the material of her dress, smiling t the softness of it. The twins knew some material could irritate her skin easily, so they carefully selected what they used. She was silently very, very grateful that they remembered.
"Our train is here, we need to get on before it leaves." Hikaru spoke up, spooking Haruhi. Her heart basically stopped, but like she was going to tell Hikaru that. It would probably turn into their new game. "Someone go get Kaoru." They were apart? Odd. Usually Kaoru was always next to Hikaru, and even if they are separated they usually were the ones that wanted to go look for each other.
"I'll go get him, we'll meet you at the train." Haruhi offered, and before Tamaki could object, she was on her way. It couldn't be that hard to find a red head like Kaoru in a place like this, could it? "Kaoru?" Haruhi called, but she couldn't find him. Out of the blue, a hand grabbed hers and started running. She was about to scream, but she realized who it was. "Kaoru! Where have you been?!"
"We're gonna be late for our train!" Kaoru pulled them into a train car, and the doors closed shut. "Sorry, I was in the bathroom." He grinned sheepishly as Haruhi face palmed. It doesn't take someone that long does it? Well, it didn't matter now. They were all on the train and thats what- no. This is stupid. She was not going to have the day get inevitably worse. Haruhi had looked out the window, and what she saw made her stomach drop. There, on the other train, were all the others. They were on the wrong train.
Kaoru dragged them on the wrong train.
"Kaoru! We're on the wrong train!" Kaoru laughed and ruffled her hair.
"I know what I'm doing Haruhi, don't be silly- oh no." He looked out the window to see the other as well, and to his horror, they were on the /wrong/ train. "You've gotta be kidding me." The fact that his face could change from calm and collected to panicked and unnerved was truly fascinating. But the fascination was short lived. Karol flipped out his phone, but to his dismay, they had no service in this area.
There was nothing they could do. They couldn't stop the train, they couldn't get back to the others, and they didn't know where they were going. They also had no way of telling the others where they were. What a perfect day this was turning out to be.
