Ever since Sasuke first laid eyes on him, he couldn't stop thinking about his ink-wielding ninja. Willing or not Sai would belong to him; his team must have noticed his own absence by now he thought. However Sasuke's mission was to capture Sai and bring him back to the Hidden Sound Village where his "master" awaited. Orochimaru wanted to "experiment" with Sai and make him apart of his collection. When Orochimaru reported his reasoning's to Sasuke he snorted and rolled his eyes, for Orochimaru would be dead before he laid his sickly putrid hand on his Sai. Sasuke's team would soon be looking for him, speculating where he ran off to, but they could wait.
He had Sai right where he sought him and his team would do nothing, but scare him off.
Sai hastily ran throughout the trees, the sky was spiraling into an eerie gray and thunder could be heard in the distance. He spent the last bit of his chakra to release Sasuke's genjutsu and was now completely vulnerable.
He stopped to catch his breath when he felt himself vomit on the ground; he was on his hands and knees retching into a bush. He shakily stood and jerked when something wet hit his face; he looked up and saw millions of fat water droplets cascading from the sky. He continued to look up at the bleak and muddled atmosphere even when he felt Sasuke's presence a few meters behind him.
He closed his eyes and asked, "Sasuke, why are you here? Naruto-kun is not here, Kakashi-sensei, nor Sakura-chan; what do you want with me?"
Sasuke smirked before replying, "Sai, Sai, Sai it's not what I want with you, but what I want to do to you."
Sai turned to the Uchiha with a questioning look on his face, "I believe I am confused, if you presume you can essentially torture me to the point where I will disclose information concerning the Leaf, then you are squandering your time-"
Sai was cut off when Sasuke thrust his sword at him in the blink of any eye, Sai reared back on his legs. The blade skimmed over his nose, before he fell on his butt his hands outstretched behind him. He looked up where Sasuke was, only to find no one there.
He put his hands out in front of him to steady himself and stand up, but was wrenched back when muscular arms encircled his waist. He landed with a 'plop!' into that said person's lap. He jolted forward digging his nails into the wet earth trying to get away, but to no avail. When he was drawn back he yelped, for something jabbed him in his butt, Sai wondering if maybe Sasuke had a kunai or a star in his pocket that was poking him.
He felt that individual's chest vibrate as he laughed softly, "You think you can get away that effortlessly, better try harder."
He tried to elbow Sasuke in the nose blindly, but Sasuke's left hand pinned his arm once more behind his back while his right was wound around Sai's waist. Sai groaned in pain and squeezed his eyes shut, as Sasuke drew his arm in an awkward position.
"Sasuke, stop and just let me go! My comrades will come looking for me, and-"Sai started.
"…and what, Sai? Hmm? To them you're just an asset, a tool to be discarded when they are all safe and sound in their little leafy village. You presume they care for you enough to come searching for you in this weather?" Sai thrashed against Sasuke's hold and instead earned another stab in his butt, "Poor little naïve, Sai; so, far away from home in the hands of the big bad, Sasuke Uchiha. You are nothing to them, Naruto said it himself that you would never be a part of their team not now, not ever. Why did you come to me Sai? In hopes that you would be welcomed back, that perchance you could get a slight taste-" At that Sasuke's long tongue licked Sai's cheek lovingly, "of what companionship is if you were to convey me back; well I am truly apologetic for having to enlighten you that even if you did bring me back they would never welcome you."
