Amigos! I think I found a gem in this franchise. I've been struggling with updating the other two of my stories but, I don't know, I feel confident with this one. Even if this section is kind of dead. I don't know if anyone is really reading this but I'm not going to stop writing it till I finish it. All books, which some of you might have guessed, will be about Kai's four years at Bullworth. Enjoy.

Side Note: Okay, I screwed up a bit when I named the fighting profession of Kai's in the last chapter, I meant to have that he learned Boxing instead of Muay Thai. While I love Muay Thai, Boxing will better suit this character in the long run. Plus, more than likely to learn that where he's from. Or based on where he's from.

Disclaimer: I do not own Bully: The Game or any Rockstar game but I do own my OC and this is alright with me...Yes, I meant to rhyme.

Chapter 2:

As Kai made it inside the dorm, he was heavily unimpressed with it. True, it was better than his mom's apartment but worse than his Uncle and Aunt's house.

The dorm contains two floors, is filthy, with vandalism on a few of the walls. And based on the scurrying creature that just ran by him, infested with rodents. He can also see a few holes in the walls...

"You must be Thompson," a man said walking up to Kai, eating an apple. The man has the frame of an athlete gone to waste, still muscular but with a gut. He is bald on top but has a horseshoe of red hair, along with a red mustache.

"Yes, sir,"

"Sir? Ha, 'bout time one of you brats had respect for your elders," the man said with a cheesy smile, with bits of his apple stuck in his teeth.

"My name is Ron Burton. You will address me as Mr. Burton, understood?"

"Yes, sir"

"Good, now follow me so I can show you, your room and move on with my life," Burton said as he began walking away with Kai reluctantly following behind.

"You'll be sharing a room with another freshman. Name is Constantinos Brakus, he's our school's mascot. It's just you two but there is one more bed in there for another person if a new student shows up." Burton said as they arrived at the top of the stairs, stopping at the third door on the right.

"Your stuff is already on your bed. Unpack and enjoy the time that you have because tomorrow is your beginning at Bullworth." Burton said before giving a devious grin, "Have fun, sissy." he laughed before walking away while Kai gave a shiver, glad that the man's almost overwhelming body odor nearly made him collapse in disgust.

Shaking the encounter off, Kai walked into the room and was once again unimpressed with the state of the room, though it was a bit of upgrade from his mom's apartment in Liberty City, it was so far of a downgrade from his time with his Aunt and Uncle-Damn!

Kai threw his bag onto his bed before he dug inside of it for a bit before he grabbed the phone his Aunt got him to contact her, a Blackberry Pearl.

Originally the model wasn't supposed to be released until the next month but due to 'connections' she had, and he learned not to inquire too much from his father when that's said, she got him the phone so that he'd always be able to get in contact with her and his uncle.

He pressed the remembered numbers into his phone before listening to it ring...

A: Hello?

"Hey Auntie, I was just calling to let you know that I'd settled in okay."

A: Oh, that's great sweetheart. Do you think you'll like going there?

"It's-" Kai stopped for two reasons, one because he actually didn't know what to make of the school yet. The Dean seems conceited and judgemental, the buildings aren't as sanitary as the outside suggests, the students seem a bit out of control if the fact there is a well-known tradition where the new kid is hazed either physically or mentally and that's just what he's seen so far. There's no telling how things will be tomorrow. Still...

The second reason is because a short kid had stopped at his door and knocked on it, drawing his attention, he looked at the kid closely.

The kid is short, about 5'1 or 5'2, with dark brown hair worn in a buzz cut and brown eyes. He's wearing a blue sweater vest with a pink shirt underneath and brown school slacks.

Kai put his finger up to tell the guy to hold on while he answered his Aunt, "It's an upgrade from back home, I guess." he finally answered.

A: What does that mean?

"Nothing to be concerned about, Auntie. Listen, I got a lot I still have to do so I'll call you later, bye." Kai rushed off the phone before his Aunt could utter anything else other than a 'bye' as well. "Well, that saved a few days," he muttered before turning his attention to the guy still at his door.

"Can I help you?" he asked before the guy walked into his room with his hand out to shake.

"Hi, I'm Pete. Pete Kowalski. Welcome to Bullworth." the guy said with his hand out as Kai just stood still while looking at the hand.

"So, I take it, you're the Welcoming Committee?" he asked.

Putting his hand down, Pete gained a nervous expression, "No, I just thought since you were new at the school that you'd rather be greeted with kindness, rather than..." he trailed off as Kai raised an eyebrow.

"Rather than a group test tube babies attempting to beat me into the school?" Kai guessed as he saw Pete wince, "I'm guessing they beat you black and blue, huh Petey?" Kai asked bluntly as Pete grimaced as if reliving the experience.

"I didn't even get a chance to defend myself." Petey said uneasily, "I was limping for 4 months but whether that was because they just beat me up again every two weeks rather than letting me recover is anyone's guess." Pete said as Kai shook his head and began unpacking. "They'll be coming after you, you know."

"No, they won't."

"Yeah, they will. It's some kind of Bullworth tradition."

"Well, I've already passed my tradition. Sort of." Kai said as he saw the confused look on Petey's face, "I knocked the wind out of that Wade Martin guy." he said as Petey's face lit up.

"You fought Wade Martin?" Petey asked with wide eyes.

Shrugging, "I wouldn't call it much of a fight. A fight is something between equal opponents of skill. He had none where I had some. He swung, I countered. End of story." Kaid said uncaringly before he and Petey turned to the door as they heard clapping.

Leaning against the door frame stood a teen around the same age as Kai, he stood maybe two or three inches shorter than him as well with a slender build. He has brown hair in a low fade style with a parting to the left, brown eyes, and has a notable scar over his right eye. He's wearing a teal Bullworth sweater vest over a grey shirt, and grey school slacks. He has a silver watch on his left wrist and a brown leather wristband on his right.

"Wow, what a tough guy." the new guy said in a tone of voice that irked Kai immediately as he stepped into the room, "You beat up someone that doesn't know how to fight and instantly believe yourself to some badass, haha."

Raising an eyebrow, "And who are you supposed to be?" Kai asked.

The mystery guy looked at Kai mockingly for a few seconds before saying, "My name is Gary Smith, at your service." he said with a mocking bow before he noticed something out the side of his eye, "And I see that you've met the dorm's mascot." he said, grabbing Petey as he tried to slide by unnoticed.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you 'Femme Boy', the girliest boy in school." he taunted, pushing Petey away at the same time.

"Petey, don't you have some imaginary friends to go annoy?" Gary said dismissively.

"Why don't you leave me alone, Gary?" Petey said, trying to sound stern but it still came off meekly, something Gary easily picked up on.

"Look at you: 'Leave me alone Gary!', I'm really self-important now that I finally hit puberty!'" Gary mocked, making Petey fall back with embarrassment. Then glancing at the frowning Kai, Gary changed his approach, "What's your problem? I'm just being nice to the new kid while trying to help him realize that beating up one guy won't do anything but piss off Russell. Something anyone without a shotgun wouldn't attempt."

"Look, I'll take your 'advice' under consideration, but if you'll excuse me. I've still gotta unpack." Kai said, gesturing towards the door.

Scoffing, Gary looked at Petey with a glare, "Now look at what you've done Pete. The new guy can't stand you already." he said before they began leaving.

"Actually, Pete can stay." Kai said, making both of them stop in surprise and look back at him, "We were having a conversation before you just butt in and walked in unannounced." Kai said, looking at Gary as a scowl slowly formed on his face before he cooled it and nodded then walked out of the room.

"Thanks for that," Petey said after a few awkward seconds as Kai shrugged.

"No problem, that guy's a dick," Kai said as he began putting his clothes away into his drawers while Pete looked on before asking.

"Where did you come from?" Pete asked as Kai paused before continuing to put his clothes away.

"Liberty City"

"Oh cool, I always wanted to visit Liberty City," Pete said, drawing a laugh from Kai, "What's so funny?"

"Nothing, I just had the thought of you visiting my home and, well it was a funny thought." Kai said, making Petey look at him confused, "I'm not from the tourist version of Liberty City that all of America sees on TV, I'm from the slums, the place they want to forget exist." Kai said.

"Oh," Petey said and looked like he was gonna ask something but stopped at the last second.

"If I was raised in the slums, how did I afford to go here?" Kai asked out loud without turning around, "That's what you want to ask, right?" he clarified as he looked back to see Petey give a meek nod.

Sighing, "That's a story that I really don't feel like getting into at this point in time. But as to how I can afford to go here, my Aunt and her husband sent me here because this is the nearest school from their home." he said before looking at the clock, "Listen, I'm pretty much done here, how about we go explore the campus?" he asked as Petey gained a frightened look, "What's wrong?"

"The Bullies, they'll be watching out for you," Petey said.

"Yeah, so?" Kai asked, "They can watch out for me all they want, they won't do a damn thing to me if they want to keep any credibility." he said, "Now, are you coming or what?"

-xXx-

"I was hoping I'd see you again today." Kai looked up as he and Petey walked out the boy's dorm to see Christy sitting down on the last step.

"Yeah, well while hiding might be the smart idea, my pride won't let me." Kai said before noticing Petey's face turn slightly red at seeing Christy, "Christy, I'd like you to meet, Pete Kowalski. Pete, I'd like to introduce you to Christy Martin." and just as he'd said her last name, he saw the redness in Petey's face drain as his face turned pale.

"Nice to meet you, Petey," Christy said with a welcoming smile as she stuck her hand out but as she did, Pete flinched away as if preparing for a punch, shocking her as she quickly took her hand away.

"It's alright, Pete. She's nothing like her brother." Kai said as Christy gained an 'Oh' face before she scowled.

"That stupid idiot," Christy muttered under her breathe before looking back at Petey, "Pete, I want to apologize for any brain-dead actions my brother and his friends did to you but Kai is right, I am nothing like that boneheaded loser," she said before standing straighter, "And to prove it to you, I'd like to extend an olive branch of friendship to you," she said before sticking her hand out for him to shake.

Petey looked at the hand as if waiting for it to turn into a fist and hit him but after a few seconds, and it stays a hand, he looked at Kai to see him looking back at him with a raised eyebrow and nodded his head.

Petey then looked at the welcoming smile on Christy's face before he reached out slowly and took her hand and they shook with her smiling and him giving a shy one in return.

"So, what were you guys about to do before I interrupted?" Christy asked.

"We were about to explore the campus, you gave me a good tour but now I think I want a bit of an in-depth look."

"Well, you're in luck because since there are no classes today and I'm bored out of my mind until my bestie arrives, I plan to be your guide. I'll give you all the scoop of whos-who, and whats-what and who to avoid. And all of the best gossip," Christy said with a wide grin as Kai cracked a grin.

"And I'm going to assume that I have no choice in the matter, right?" he joked

"Of course you do, you can choose to let me come along or you can choose to let me come along," she joked back as he chuckled.

"Alright, when you put it that way...sure. You alright with that, Petey?" Kai asked, looking at the smaller boy.

"I'm fine with it," Petey said as Christy grin grew wider.

"Great! Now, before we begin, you need to change," she said, looking at Kai.

"Say what?"

"Yeah, I almost forgot to tell you, that the Prefects will hassle you if you don't have on your uniform," Petey spoke up as Kai groaned.

"Or you could just wear something with the Bullworth symbol on it, they pretty much leave the Jocks alone and they usually just wear their jerseys." Christy said as she turned Kai around gave a small push, "Either way, change."

10 minutes later-

"You took longer than I usually do to get changed and you ended up only changing your shirt?" Christy asked as she saw Kai walk out the building with a grey Bullworth hoodie but the same blue jeans and boots.

"Well, since you sent me in there, I decided to finish getting unpacked and then I had to look around because I can't remember where I put my uniform so I just grabbed this as a result," Kai explained to the irked teen.

"Ugh, whatever. Let's just go." Christy said with a roll of the eyes before they began walking away while she answered any questions Kai and surprisingly Petey had.

"Hey, Christy?"

"Hmm?"

"I've noticed something about a few people." Kai said as he looked around the campus, "There seems to some kind of clothing color turf thing going on?"

"Oh, I can't believe I almost forgot to tell you about that." Christy said slapping a hand to her forehead before stopping and turning to look at him, "Listen up because this is very important. There are 5 major cliques that run the school." she said before turning back around to point at specific students, "First you have the Nerds, they typically wear green color clothing. Don't underestimate them, and don't let them get anything on you, those guys will blackmail you in any sort of way to either bring you to their level or raise themselves up. It's typically the former." she notified.

"They do that you?" Kai asked but she shook her head.

"No, but I've heard of them doing so to others and them dropping out instead of living with the shame."

"Next up, we have the Preppies, those guys can be identified by the Aquaberry sweaters they usually wear. They're all fake with condescending attitudes that their inbred fathers raised them to believe that they are better than us all just because we don't have the same money they do." Christy said heatedly before noticing both Kai and Petey looking at her strangely which made her blush in embarrassment, "Shut up" she said with a glare to both of them.

"Third, we have the Greasers. Those guys can be recognized by their leather jackets and greasy hair. They are actually the more tolerable group because they don't put on any fakeness. What you see is usually what you get. The only irritating thing about them is that they talk like they are from the '70s and stuck in the movie 'Grease'. Which, I'm guessing is why they are called the Greasers." Christy said.

"Next to last are the Jocks. Now, these guys usually leave you alone unless you enter the sports area where then, well, you're in the Lion's den." Christy said, "If you do see them around Campus, you'll usually see them messing with the Nerds. If that's not the biggest cliche in the world, I honestly don't want to know what is."

"And lastly-" "The Bullies or The Outlaws, those guys are the worst." Petey spoke up, interrupting Christy but because of the topic, she let him speak, "They'll pick on anyone they want. Kids, adults, elderly, they don't care because they know they can get away with anything as long as they don't draw attention from the police. And sometimes they still don't care." Petey said shakily and then flinched when Christy put her hand on his shoulder.

"They won't mess with you again, Petey. I won't let them," she said as Kai nodded.

"Anytime they do, run as hard as you can to find me. Alright?" Kai asked as Petey nodded gratefully at his friend's assurance.

"Anyway, that's about all the cliques that are within this school," Christy said, getting back on topic.

"Well, what clique are you in?"

Christy stumbled at the unexpected question, though she should have expected it, "I'm not actually in a clique." she said a bit sheepishly.

Seeing Kai's raised eyebrow, "Not all students desire to be in a clique. There are quite a few people who actually don't care about the status quo around here."

"Then who do you hang out with?"

"Oh, I hang out with my bestie Angie Ng. She's not coming back till the beginning of next week. Family emergency." Christy said before looking at them, "I think that about covers everything. Anything else?"

"Yeah, know where I can get something to eat?" Kai asked.

"I showed you that earlier." she said confused as Kai gained a bit of sheepish expression, "You weren't paying a single bit of attention, were you?" she accused as Kai looked away from her.

"I was," Kai said in an unconvincing tone as he noticed her glaring at him, "I was just so captivated on just how beautiful you are," he said, getting Christy to look at him with a raised eyebrow and now an amused expression.

"Did you really think that would work?" she asked.

"Not really, but I thought it would be worth a shot," he said.

"Well, thank you but you're shooting that shot at the wrong person." she said before leaning towards them and said in a sort of conspiratorial tone, "I'm more into girls," she said and giggled at their stunned expression.

"Well, that's cool," Kai said, a bit awkwardly. Not really knowing how to respond.

"It's alright, it's better to get it out all in the open before any feelings are developed." Christy said before looking at Petey, "You okay, Petey?" she asked, seeing his downcast expression.

"Yeah, I'm, uh, just not feeling hungry. I'll see you guys later," he said before leaving before either could say anything.

"I'm guessing that whole speech was more for his benefit than mine?" Kai asked once Petey had disappeared, looking at Christy who had a sympathetic expression.

"Well, I didn't think he had a crush on me. I only thought he was just attracted to me." she admitted before looking at him, "Though, it is better before they grew any deeper." she said before shaking her head, "Now, let's head to the cafeteria."

-xXx-

Later-

After finishing up eating, Kai and Christy had split as she had some homework due the next day so Kai found himself wandering the campus, basically trying to memorize everything. As a whole, the school seemed large to the outside, but as he walked around, he found the school just wider than a public school. Or at least wider than his old school.

Suddenly, he felt his pocket vibrate as he felt his phone ringing and when he pulled it out to look at it, he saw an unrecognized number, warily he answered...

"Hello?"

UN: Hello, is this Kai Thompson?

Kai felt even more confusion and wariness at the deep voice.

"Who is this?" he asked instead as the deep voice chuckled.

UN: By the fact you didn't answer, I take it that it is. Listen, there's no need to be scared. I'm a friend.

"All my friends are named and I know nobody with as deep a voice as yours."

UN: Well, I'm the friend that'd be really surprised if you remembered me. You haven't seen me since you were a toddler.

That sent warning bells off in Kai's head but before he could hang up the phone, the mystery man continued speaking with each word seemingly stunning Kai more and more.

UN: First, I want to apologize for not being there to keep your mother alive. When I was sent to prison, I thought she was going to do right by you and she even promised me that she was. I should've known she was already too far gone by then. It's your father's fault for getting her in that mess in the first place. But, I won't open that can of worms. Not yet. No, I called to make sure that my only living relative is still doing well and by the sound of your voice, you are.

Kai stood there shocked, unable to reply as so many things were going through his mind at the time.

UN: Well, I think I've probably shocked you enough for the day. Keep my number, I'll be in touch.

Hearing that, snapped Kai out of his daze enough to respond, "W-wait, you never told me..." he trailed off as his number hung up, "Your name"

Next Day-

[ALARM]

[ALARM]

[ALAR-krk]

Kai's eyes opened slowly at the blaring of his alarm clock before he quieted the annoyance with a hard slap of his hand.

He sat up in bed as the covers fell from his body, revealing his shirtless chest as spots of sunlight shone through his window onto him as he scratched his head before laying back down, as the previous day's events passed through his mind, or more importantly, the phone call.

It wouldn't be too far of a stretch to say that he could barely remember anything that happened after the phone call. Everything has been just a blur since.

He'd even tried to call the number back, but got dial tone every single time.

Deciding that letting his mind stay on the subject wasn't productive in any way, Kai stood from the bed, revealing that he's wearing black and red Nike shorts as he walked up to his window and saw it was sunny for the day without a single cloud.

Just then the door opened and in walked, Kai's roommate Constantinos Brakus walked in.

Brakus stood a few inches shorter than Kai's, is skinny, with black hair which is combed backward. He's wearing the standard dark teal Bullworth v-neck sweater with a white shirt and black tie, a pair of tan trousers and black loafers.

Considering how his mindset has been recently, Kai didn't quite get a feel of his roommate the previous day...or maybe he did and the fog just blocked it from his memory.

Regardless, as he spied the clock, he didn't have the time to try to get a feel for him at the moment.

"Hey, is the shower open?" Kai asked.

"Yeah, but you might want to hurry or else the Bullies will begin tormenting the guys in the showers again," Brakus said as he moved over to his bed to begin getting his bag ready for his class.

"Cool, I'll see you later," Kai said as he grabbed a towel, a toothbrush, a soap bar, and shampoo and was off.

As he walked closer to the bathroom, Kai could feel some of the guys looking at him, some with hostility, some trying to size him up, and others with indifference, but he paid none of it attention, mostly because he couldn't care less what they thought of it and if they thought they could intimidate him, ha, they'd learn the hard way of why that wouldn't work.

As he got closer to the showers, he could already hear what sounded like a scuffle already taking place, which means the Outlaws-can they really be called bullies if they didn't intimidate him?-were already tormenting some poor soul.

When Kai walked into the showers, it took a few seconds for his eyes to adjust to the steam inside but when they did, he began to feel his blood boil as he caught sight 3 guys around his size pushing around a smaller figure that even to Kai's seemed to be too small.

He didn't know when he moved but suddenly Kai had grabbed one of the taller boys by the back of his neck and before any of them could do anything, he smashed the guy into the nearest wall, and they could all hear the sickening crack of a broken nose over the showers.

"OWW!" the boy cried out as he instantly fell to the ground, attracting the attention of all of the remaining boys left in the shower room, including the ones that were ignoring the kid being harassed.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Kai asked, nearly growled, as he looked at the two bullies move over to their downed friend to help him stand back up, "Attempting to beat me up is one thing, but bullying a kid?!" Kai yelled as he gestured to the boy who was hiding behind him, "I should break every goddamn bone in your fucking bodies!" Kai roared out, making one of the bullies step back at the ferocity of his yell, as Kai got a look at him, he recognized him as the guy that was with, the guy that checking him out.

"Woah, easy there new kid," another of the bullies said, this guy dark skinned with a small afro, "We're not Wade, we'll kick your ass," he threatened as he helped hold up the guy with the broken nose, who also has short auburn hair and blue eyes.

The guy with the broken nose just chose to glare at Kai instead of speaking, though by the grimace of his face, it might be because he was in a lot of pain.

"Go ahead and try it and I guarantee you," Kai did growl this time as he stepped forward, making them take a step back, "You won't wake up till my grandkids have graduated," he threatened back, making the boy's eyes bulge in anger as he almost stepped back up, but the boy from yesterday-Trent, he thinks-grabs him by the arm.

"C'mon Ethan, let's get out of here before Burton decides to show up as well, besides we gotta get Troy here some ice for his nose," Trent said and at first it seems Ethan isn't going to listen but he finally begins stepping back, but he keeps his eyes on Kai who hasn't moved either his eyes or his body, ready to see if they change their minds till they leave the showers and he finally loosens up a bit.

He turns to look at the kid that he'd saved, only to see the kid looking at him in fear now, making him realize that he'd nearly lost control of himself there in his anger.

"Sorry about that, I kind of lost it there," Kai said a bit awkwardly before asking, "You alright?"

It seems like the kid wouldn't say anything at first but finally, "Thank you," he said before he suddenly ran off before Kai could say anything else.

Instead of chasing after him, Kai just sighed, "Oh this is a great start to the year,"

Okay, I'm gonna cut it here. Yes, this chapter was just as short as the last one, but I promise that starting the next chapter, these will begin to get longer because the next chapter will the official standpoint of where I diverge from the bully storyline and begin to create Kai's own story.

This chapter really just introduced a few more characters, some mystique of Kai's background, and most importantly, the school's hierarchy.

Tell me your thoughts in the comments...

-Until Next Time-

P.S: Considering just how many people asked me about this story, I think I'll choose this one as my main story with regular updates. I can't promise weekly, but two weeks apart is highly doable. I won't choose a specific day however as that's a recipe for disaster, so just expect the next chapter in two weeks time. Please, don't ask me if I'm giving up on it after a few days of not updating it, that makes me feel like I should rush an update.
