Chapter 2! Hope you enjoy, this starts out at Link's hometown, Ordon, in 3rd person. R&R please! Or I will go on hiatus!

The Legend of Zelda: Darkest Hour

Link pushed the branches away from his face. As he walked, he saw Ordon come into view. He smiled, and waved to Rusl.

"Link! You've been gone for over two hours!"

"Sorry. Goat herding took longer than usual."

"You and I both know you weren't herding goats," Rusl said. "Anyways, the mayor sent for you. Something about 'the royal gift', or whatever that means."

"Thanks!" Link ran to the mayor's house, thoughts racing. Royal Gift? What does that mean?

He jogged around the bend, and over the bridge, to reach Mayor Bo's house. Almost running into the house, Link firmly knocked on the door.

"One moment!" Bo's loud voice rang out through the entire house. "Ah, Link. I needed to talk with you."

"Yeah, something about a 'royal gift?"

"I take it you spoke to Rusl. I need you to take this to the royal family. It's the ceremonial crown, it was just fixed the other day." Mayor Bo took out a rather small box, big enough to fit a computer, whatever that was.

"You mean, to the castle?" Link blinked, a smile forming on his lips.

"Of course, m' boy! Where else would you go to take the royal crown?" Bo laughed.

But Link was already running, getting ready for the trip. He saddled Epona, and put some supplies in her saddle bags. But before everything, he took the crown, and stationed it in his pack. Running back to Bo, he asked when to leave.

"Anytime is fine!"

"Thanks!" Link rode off on Epona, waving to each of the villagers that he passed.

Link came up to a path, leading to Castle Town. He pushed some branches from his face and looked out to the open view. He looked around as he brought Epona into a trot. He slid off the saddle, and took the crown out of his pack. He let Epona stay at the bridge, and walked into Castle Town.

Link looked around in awe. He could see the top of the castle, and the buildings were amazing. He was so caught up in the sight, he didn't look were he was going.

"Oh!" Link heard a voice, as he stumbled to the ground. Getting up, he saw he knocked someone over.

"I'm sorry! Here." He held out his hand, and helped them up.

The person was covered in a black cloak, which hid their face, so he couldn't tell who it was.

"It's fine."

Surprising him, Link realized it was a woman. Her voice was silky, and sweet.

"You dropped something." She spoke again, braking Link out of his trance.

"Huh? Oh, thanks." He picked up the box that held the crown, and waved. He then ran towards the castle, this time looking where he was going.

You like? I certainly hope so. Well, R&R please!
