My poplular demand, I give you the net-gun.

Soifon watched the tower-like rock formation explode into rubble as the bolt of shunko struck it.

"Very good Soi." Yoruichi smiled. Soifon raised an eyebrow with a side-ways glance at her. Yoruichi wasn't one for praise, especially without qualification. While you may be doing well, you could always do better.

It was just another one of Yoruichi's strange changes in behavior as of late. Ever since Yoruichi found out about her preference for women, she had been spending more time around her. She would eat lunch with her or just show up randomly to lounge in her quarters while she did paperwork. In fact, her currently being in the underground training area of Urahara Shoten practicing shunko had been her idea.

Soifon remembered vividly the day Yoruichi had asked her to come to the Shoten. She had show up, unannounced as always, and asked, somewhat nervously, when the next time she would have some time off would be and if she would like to come see her then. When Soifon asked why, Yoruichi fumbled for a few seconds before blurting out "Shinko!" Unaware that there were any dots present to connect, Soifon answered affirmatively and watched a relieved smile spread across her beautiful face.

"What next?" Soifon asked. Yoruichi snapped out of the trance like state she had fallen into while starring at the unaware woman.

"Uhhh…next…" Yoruichi searched her brain for something for them to do when she spotted something off in the distance. Squinting, she saw that it was Urahara, giving her a thumbs up. It was the signal that he was ready. Returning the gesture behind Soifon's back and mentally prepared herself for what was about to happen.

"How about you try splitting the blast." Yoruichi regained her conversational footing. She walked over to Soifon and grabbed her right hand gently, folding the fingers at the second knuckle. "I find it's easier if I hold my hand like this."

Soifon blushed at the contact of skin, but more so at how gently Yoruichi had touched her hand, as if it were something delicate. Soifon extended her arm out in front of her and prepared to let loose a blast, when she heard a low, dull thud somewhere off in the distance. Thinking it a rock falling, Soifon paid no more attention. Then, something wholly unexpected happened.

Something hit her. It was heavy enough to knock her off balance, sending her tumbling into Yoruichi, who yelped in surprise. Everything became a confusing torrent of limbs. The horizon spun and twisted in her vision. When the chaos settled, Soifon lay on her back looking up at the faux sky, her vision broken up by think black lines that formed squares.

She tried to move, but she found her limbs were pinned down by what appeared to be a net. What was more disturbing was what was pinning down the rest of her. Yoruichi lay of top of her, straddling her right thigh, her head resting squarely between her small breasts.

"Ugh…what just happened?" Yoruichi groaned, hopping that it didn't sound too rehearsed.

"Sorry about that, ladies." Urahara walked up to the entangled and entrapped women. "I was just testing out this net-gun I just built and it seems I underestimated its firepower."

"Just cut the net already!" Soifon shouted, becoming more and more flustered with each passing moment.

"I afraid I can't do that." Urahara poked the net with Benihime.

"Why not?" Yoruichi asked, still a little stunned by how perfectly everything went.

"You see, this net is designed to catch hollows. You can't just cut it or else the hollows would be able to do the same." He explained.

"Well then what do we do!" Soifon struggled against the net and the warm body and top of her.

"There's a special device for destroying the net. Unfortunately, I don't have any ready right now because I didn't anticipate having to use them. You two are just going to have to sit tight while I get one ready." Urahara walked off casually.

"Don't worry, take your time, there's no rush." Yoruichi shouted after him in the most sarcastic tone she could fake, hoping it would disguise the fact that she actually meant it.

Soifon continued to struggle against the net, but to no avail. She tried to use shunko, but found that the net was suppressing her reiatsu.

"You're awfully anxious to get away from me." Yoruichi teased. She couldn't move her head, not that she wanted to, but she looked up with her eye to find that Soifon's face was absolutely red.

"I…uh…" Soifon was completely at a loss for words. Realizing that the only result of her struggles was rubbing their bodies together, Soifon resigned herself. Yoruichi sighed contently into Soifon's chest.

"C…comfortable?" Soifon asked sarcastically.

"Yes, quite." Yoruichi replied. "In fact, I think I could get used to this."

"What?" Soifon squeaked.

"Soi, Soi, Soi." Yoruichi chided. "Playing hard to get hasn't worked and neither has being coy, so I'm just going to be blunt. I've had my eye on you for a while now and I know that you've had all over me." Soifon's eyes widened.

"W..w…what do you mean?" Soifon stalled. She knew full well what she meant, she was just having difficulty accepting it.

"I mean that I've been interested in you, romantically," Yoruichi clarified, "for some time now." Yoruichi responded flirtatiously.

"But how?" Soifon asked. "You just found out I'm gay a few weeks ago."

"So? That has nothing to do with me." Yoruichi replied.

"You mean you're…?" Soifon was still uncomfortable talking about such things.

"Soi, I can turn into a male cat." Yoruichi laughed. "How could I possibly be less subtle short of tattooing it on my forehead?" They both laughed, easing the tension. They didn't say anything else, saving the rest of the conversation for a more appropriate setting. Soifon simply laid there, pondering if she could have possible come up with a more absurd circumstance in which Yoruichi confessed her feelings to her.

Almost all of Soifon's daydreams had focused around this subject, and every time, they were nearly all sappily romantic. They would be resting peacefully in the sakura grove, or Yoruichi would comfort her after a particularly hard day. None of them involved Yoruichi straddling her while they lay trapped under a net.

"So, should I expect to hear wedding bells any time soon?" Urahara fanned himself.

"For the last time, it's not a magical matrimony net!" Yoruichi shouted. "And no, we just got together a week ago."

"Well, if you need any more help with your love life," Urahara folded his fan and pointed. "I just built a gyrocopter..."
