"Hank waked up!"

Hank Pym's eyes opened. He sighed. "Go back to sleep, Janet." He said. Hank rolled over and closed his eyes again.

"But I can't! The sun is awake, so I'm awake." Janet plopped down next to Hank.

"Go away, Jan." Hank pushed her off the bed, onto the floor. Janet sat on the ground, pouting. Suddenly she had an idea.

"Do you want to go do some science?" Hank's eyes flew open. He smiled and got out of bed. The pair ran down the hall into another room.

"Do your magic, do your magic!" Janet said happily.

"Okay," Hank put on a belt and pressed a button. He shrank down to ant size. Janet yelped with joy. Slowly, Hank grew back to normal size.

"Again, again," Jan squeaked. She pressed the button, and the two of them started to shrink.

"Janet!" Hank yelled. As she shrank, a pair of wings became visible. "Jan!" Unknown to young Janet Van Dyne, when someone's body is not use to shrinkage, many things could go wrong in the process of shrinking. Jan's body was now use to the compressment1 of mass like Hank was. Janet blacked out. Quickly, Hank regrew both of them back to normal size.

"Mom, dad, help me! I need help!" Hank yelled. Tears fell from his brown eyes and onto Janet's face. Hank's parents ran in.

"What happened?" Hank's mother asked.

"It was an accident." Hank cried. "I didn't know she would do that!"

"It's okay, son. It wasn't your fault." Mr. Pym said. "But we need to get help." He pulled an old book from a nearby bookcase and opened it. Reading through it quickly, he suddenly grabbed Mrs. Pym's, who was holding Jan, in one hand, and his son in the other. Together they ran out the door to the horses. Hank saw a glimpse of the cover:
