SCP-666: Dante

Object Class: Thaumiel

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-666 is to be kept in the immediate vicinity of Containment Site [Data Expunged], and is to be kept track of, but is otherwise to be left to his own devices. SCP-666 is to reside in a suite in the Containment Site resembling his shop, the Devil May Cry, in [Data Expunged] City. He is to be allowed full access across the facility, but cannot enter certain containment areas due to security concerns. Should a job appear for him, he is to be escorted to the site of his job by no fewer than two (2) SCP personnel to ensure his return. Other than the procedures mentioned above, SCP-666 is not subject to any particular Special Containment Procedures.

Description: SCP-666 is a somewhat tall humanoid male, with short white hair, a scruffy 5:00 Shadow-type beard, blue eyes, and a lean, muscular body. SCP-666 is dressed in a long red leather duster, black biker gloves, black-and-red cowboy boots, black-and-red leather pants, and a gray zip-up shirt with three (3) straps crossing his chest. SCP-666 possesses a wide variety of weaponry, including a red motorcycle that can transform into a pair of buzz saw-like weapons, a tri-nunchaku that is imbued with ice powers, several gauntlet sets that increase strength, one of which is imbued with flame powers, a sawed-off double-barrel shotgun, and a suitcase-like object that can supposedly transform into 666 different forms (although 7 have only ever been recorded), but primary among SCP-666's sizable arsenal is Rebellion, a large silver claymore-style sword, and Ebony and Ivory, a pair of large .45 caliber handguns that seem to have infinite ammunition.

SCP-666 is capable of a sort of hammerspace ability, which he uses to store large weapons that normally would be a burden to carry. He is also capable of a quick-heal factor that will heal any injury sustained to him at an unnatural rate, and, as SCP-666 puts it, "At this point, I get stabbed in the chest every goddamn day, and it's like nothing ever happened." He is also far faster and stronger than normal humans, reportedly capable of halting the punch of a giant, and has two distinct abilities-one is the Quicksilver, which enables SCP-666 to slow time, and the other is the Devil Trigger, in which SCP-666's form changes to that of an unknown but humanoid metallic lifeform; in this state, SCP-666's abilities are greatly boosted. SCP-666 has a fighting style that mostly involves hacking away at the enemy "with style" and shooting them with guns of various calibers and types.

Addendum-01: An abridged version of the acts of SCP-666, from his first known appearance to his agreement to work for the Foundation.

January 25-31, 1998-the anomaly known as Temen-Ni-Gru, a gateway to the supposed dimension known as the Underworld or Hell, appears in [Data Expunged] City. At this time, the SCP Foundation had not yet been founded, and SCP-666 destroys Temen-Ni-Gru, with the help of SCP-666-2, aka Lady. SCP-666 then creates his shop, the Devil May Cry.

August 23-29, 2001-the entity Mundus, ruler of the supposed dimension known as the Underworld, attempts to escape from the Underworld and destroy the world; again, the SCP Foundation had not yet been formed at the time and was thus unable to intervene. SCP-666 defeats Mundus and sends him back to the Underworld with the aid of SCP-666-3, aka Trish.

January 25-29, 2003-the Ouroboros Corporation, under the leadership of CEO Arius, attempts to unseal the demonic entity known as Argosax; again, the Foundation had not yet been founded and was unable to respond to this threat. SCP-666 travels to [Data Expunged], and alongside the deceased individual Lucia succeeds in sealing Argosax back away.

March 5-8, 2008-the Order of the Sword, a cult based in [Data Expunged] and dedicated to SCP-666's father, the demonic entity Sparda, attempts to create a god-like entity to rule the world; the Foundation was still undergoing formation and was thus unable to respond. SCP-666, along with SCP-666-2, SCP-666-3, and SCP-666-4, aka Nero, destroy this god-entity, known as the Savior, and subsequently the False Savior.

July 19, 2008-the SCP Foundation is finally completed, and after neutralizing more dangerous SCPs offers to hire SCP-666. SCP-666 agrees to the terms proposed by the foundation, which included being classified as a Thaumiel-class SCP and contained as such, and is moved to [Data Expunged].

Interview between SCP-666 and Dr. (Classified)

Dr. (Classified): Good morning. I assume you know what I'm here for?

SCP-666: This is that interview I was told about, right?

Dr. (Classified): (Nods) Yes. If you could answer the questions posed to you with the best of your knowledge, it would be appreciated.

SCP-666: Whatever you say, Doc. Let's get to it.

Dr. (Classified): What, exactly, are you?

SCP-666: Oh, I'm human. (Smirks) But only half.

Dr. (Classified): And the other half?

SCP-666: Demon.

Dr. (Classified): Demon? Can you explain?

SCP-666: My father was an entity form the Underworld, known as the Dark Knight Sparda. About…. Uh, maybe four thousand years ago, something like that, he sealed away Mundus and the demons because he admired humanity and wanted to protect them from Mundus, who was subjugating them. He sealed away Mundus successfully, and until he tried to escape twice, the world's been mostly at peace form demons.

Dr. (Classified): And what of Sparda?

SCP-666: Vanished a few years before my mother was killed. He's probably dead.

Dr. (Classified): You mentioned that Mundus's minions were sent to find Sparda, but settled on killing your mother when they could not find them. Is this correct?

SCP-666: Unfortunately, yes. It was what made me want to be a devil slayer to begin with.

Dr. (Classified): What is the nature of these demons that you hunt, exactly?

SCP-666: They're demons. Take a wild guess.

Dr. (Classified): No, I mean are they like the demons of Christianity or any established religion? Or are they simply entities that are malevolent and spiritual in nature?

SCP-666: Ah, okay, I see what you're getting at. No, I don't think that these demons are from any specific religion, but hey, who knows-it's a big world, after all.

(End of Interview)

Note from Dr. (Classified)-

SCP-666 may be able to destroy SCP-692 once and for all, considering his range of abilities and his achievements against entities that should be more unkillable than SCP-692. I propose using him to finally eradicate it, and maybe use it against other SCPs that have been difficult to destroy.

Authorization was given for SCP-666 to attempt to eradicate SCP-682. Results: SCP-666 succeeds in finally eradicating SCP-682, using a katana that can evidently slice through reality, designated SCP-666-B. Discussion to allow SCP-666 to eradicate other supposedly unkillable SCPs is currently underway.
