"Akari! AKARI!" The peach haired chef shouted after her.
She couldn't face him. Not now. Not after he did that. The one thing she would not allow.
A cool hand slid down her drenched arm and pulled, making her skid to a stop.
"Please! I'm sorry, just give me another chan-"
"There are no more chanses Chase!" the farmer screamed, pulling her arm easily out of his grip.
Staring him dead in the eyes, tears flouded her face.
"Don't say that." Chase whispered, fear in his eyes.
"You've done the unforgivable!"
"No! I haven't! She lied, just . . . Fuck Maia! I love you!" the chef said desperatly.
Akari looked to the Inn behind him, knowing that he was lying.
Heartbroken brown eyes turned to him and the normally sweet girls voice turned cold,
"But that's what you did, Fuck Maia."
Before her now ex-fiancee could replay, she added,
"I'm through with these games Chase. I'm done. And so all I can really say is . . . goodbye."
She took two slow steps backward before finally turning around and treking slowly up the hill to her home.
