April was hiding in a tree in the woods - where she said she'd be - thoughts running through her head about the incident.
"Uh, April?" Munch asked, looking around, "Where is the rest of my pizza?"
"I-I wanted a piece or two, so I...took some...?" April replied, a nervous smile on her face.
Munch looked at her angrily.
"April, there's ONE half left!" He argued, holding out his hand as if to point to the pizza, "If you took a piece or two, there would probably be two pieces taken out, not half!"
April gulped, knowing how he got when he was hungry.
Basically when a Munch - him being the only Munch she knew - got hungry, their personality would slowly become the opposite of their regular, friendly personality. Due to only knowing Munch, she only had two things to go by with her guess... Either Munch was the only one to be like that or just the male Munches were like that, since April had never had a problem with her attitude, whether she was hungry or not.
"I-I'm sorry..." She then apologized, feeling a bit of fear over being hurt, since she had a slight fear of his teeth which were sharp, "I was... I was just...h-hungry, that's all..."
"Well you know how I feel about others - even you - taking my pizza!" Munch yelled, glaring at her.
"What WAS I supposed to do Munch?!" April argued back, now angry, "Just sit here and starve?! You know this isn't those 'special times' where you get to eat whatever you want, and - like you say - 'nobody can even have some'!!"
"Yeah I know that." Munch said, "But still! Nobody takes my pizza."
"Fine!! I didn't want any pizza anyway!" April shouted back at him.
"Then why'd you take it?!" He questioned, glaring at her
"Because I wanted pizza before you came along and killed it for me like the stubborn monster you are!!" April shouted back, glaring at the hungry purple monster before bringing out her retractable claws with a growl.
I'm stubborn?!" Munch asked, glaring at her as well, "Well, says the girl monster who takes stuff without askin'!
"Excuse me, I take stuff without asking!?" April said, clenching her hands into fists, "Oh, sorry Mr. I-Once-Took-Something-That-Wasn't-Mine-and-Ate-It!"
"Well you're no better either!" Munch yelled back before getting rushed into by April, her claws digging into his skin from under the yellow fur on his stomach as she shoved him into the wall, causing him to yelp loudly from the pain.
As April thought of the memory, she felt tears welling up in her eyes as she hugged the tree not wanting to think of the memory anymore.
As she hugged the tree, however, she heard a snapping sound from down below, but she didn't feel anything that could - or would - mean that the branch she was on was breaking.
Huh...? She thought, looking down, Wha-?
Suddenly before she could think anything else she saw Munch below the tree, looking around as quietly as he could.
Munch... She thought, But what's he doing here?
Suddenly she heard a small crack, one she felt on the branch she was sitting on and gulped.
Oh crap... She thought, eyes wide-open, Hopefully it won't-
*SNAP*
Break! She finished in her thoughts.
She yelped as the branch broke off the tree and fell down to the ground below as she quickly grabbed hold of the stub that was the only thing left over from the branch. She winced as her hand barely rubbed against the bark as she desparately grabbed on, knowing the tiny bit of pain meant she had gotten splinters in her hand, but she had to keep holding on, no matter how much she wanted to let go.
Okay, I should really try to think of something to get this off my mind! She thought, But how do I do that if I hurt him? He was the guy I'd try to think about if something was on my mind bothering me!
She then realized that while thinking about getting stuff off her mind, the feeling of her splinters went away since she wasn't thinking of them at the moment.
Looking back down at Munch, she realized he was looking around for her next to the branch. Her heart rate went up as she felt herself being unable to hold on much longer, beginning to sweat nervously.
Please don't slip! She hoped in her mind, If I do, I-I'm probably d-done for!
But as her grip on the tree became more painful due to the bark and gravity weighing her down with her body weight, she knew she was done for.
Heh, at least he's not smart enough to look up... She thought, but as if on cue, Munch looked up and spotted her, causing her to yelp and let go, her letting go mostly being from the pain of holding on, not from the surprise of him seeing her.
"April!" Munch shouted, but winced when she hit the ground below.
"April, are you okay?!" He then asked with a worried tone and a worried look to match.
