Inuyasha crossover RED 2
Chapter 2: The Agreement

"Life is really a bitch," Han thought almost bitterly as he swirled the glass of wine in his hand before taking a sip from it as his assistant told him of the newly accepted job from his end.

Frank Moses has yet to pay him the 50 million that he had owed him, the 30 for blowing up his private jet and the 20 for not taking his life. There will be others perhaps, but none are going to be able to get the job done like him. For now they were just at a standstill at least he had figured out more things that is currently running in his mind. Usually it is really simple, just killing and enjoying life, buying the many toys that he could ever want and brushing up his skills to perfection until the day that he will finally kill Frank Moses.

He had thought of it many times on how he would like to torture him slowly and painfully until he begs for death and then finish him off when he decides that Frank Moses deserves it. And now after saving the world with him and the old team, it brought back much nostalgia to him of the days when he was still with intelligence, and is one of the best at it, and still is. Only this time there is more to the list of things that he is best in.

Currently he was on his way back to Japan this time to meet a client that wanted his personal appearance. It screamed of nothing but a trap to him, but nevertheless was well prepared as he had what he needed on his person, fully loaded and polished. It was sometimes in situations like this that gives him a warm up most of the time rather than giving him a work out. Either way, it was a small problem, and he was interested in seeing what is it that they wanted that it had to be this secretive. Either way, he could always have them killed and not let anyone know of what transpired in that meeting.

No matter how one would look at it, he was at a disadvantage being on grounds that is unfamiliar to him still despite of the blueprint that his assistant had managed to get him. Han cursed in his native language as he adjusted his suit before stepping out of the car to get to his meeting point. From here on out, he would have to be on high guard in order to survive this and get out in one piece.

"Mr. Han Cho-Bai, your client awaits," a man dressed in a dark steel grey suit said sternly as he led the way.

Han's eyes was taking in his surroundings, analyzing the various possibilities of escape and the alternatives that he has as he kept count of the staff there and many other details. The door opened to a large office space with an equally large balcony terrace where the client was seated casually whilst being served by the people that are there. His youth was something that makes him wonder how someone so young managed to climb that high so fast.

"I've no interest in who you were hired to kill in the past, neither am I interested in the few people that you have killed recently. Brava on that though, however I do want to know of your intentions on planting these on Miss Higurashi and in her bag," Shippo said as he crossed his legs, whilst reaching for the cup of coffee that one of his assistant had just poured out for him.

Han remained quiet as he studied the other, his jaw clenching and relaxing for a few times as he studied the other before him. He noticed that the few people around them are few, and it was in his view easy to dispatch them, even easier for him since he had been in even tighter situation than this.

"She caught my eyes," Han simply replied, not at all sure of his own motives and it was partially the truth.

"There must be more than that, say for instance that you've been keeping tabs on her in other manner, like the hacking of her phone and the officer computer system," he could almost laugh at what the other was suggesting.

"I believe Mr. Gitsune that you are mistaken, there is no proof of what you've just accused me of," he said with a sideward 'hmph' as he took a closer observation of possible weapons or tools hidden under their clothes, just to be sure and add it all into his calculation.

"We hate to disappoint Mr. Han, but we do have it," Shippo said as he pressed a few buttons on his phone, only to have Han's own phone ring rather loudly.

It was an unknown number that he had not register onto his phone or seen it before, except that he was at the moment in this annoying meeting with Shippo Gitsune. With slight indication from Shippo with his head to answer his phone, Han walked a fair distance away to make sure that he would not be overheard by anyone.

"What,"

"How is this for evidence Mr. Han," Shippo replied into the phone with a smirk as he looked at the other whole now turned to look at him with a slight look of disbelieve but outrage in his eyes.

Han glanced down at his phone, his lower jaw slack a slow smile of disbelieve upon his lips as he turned to the side to hide his face before sliding his phone to cancel the call.

"That is not enough proof of evidence, anyone can get a hold of my number if they have the right contacts," Han said when he was closer to the 'client' that had just called his phone to prove a point.

"I agree, and thus I have taken the liberty of getting things cleaned up a little more," Shippo said as he fiddled with his phone again, this time showing live video footage of Kagome's office being searched thoroughly and all things electronic being taken apart by apparent experts.

"Also we have your DNA found upon the bugs that you've placed on Miss. Higurashi, completely supported with video footage," Shippo continued as he took his phone back and placing it on the table next to his coffee cup.

"Why are you following Miss Higurashi so intently, why is she your next target," Shippo said in a tone lowered dangerously with sly as the other seem to glint or glow in some odd way unexplainable.

He scoffed, finding this situation to be rather unbelievable at the moment, his team of people are becoming sloppy, if not his works is sloppy, and to find out now was something that somewhat hurt his pride as a professional killer.

"Mr. Gitsune, Miss. Higurashi is merely under watch and observation until further notice," Han replied in all politeness as he took a deep breath before replying.

"That much is clear for now Mr. Han," Shippo said, taking another sip of his coffee as he returned to one of his assistant a folder of document.

"On the other hand Mr. Han, I would like to pay you double of whoever it was that is your client, to give us his name and to prevent more potential killing to Miss Higurashi," Shippo continued as he picked out his phone again to fiddle with it.

Han was taken aback by the request as he narrowed his eyes at the person who suddenly present to him an opportunity to be of close approximate to the said woman that had captured his attention far too much. This could just means, in the best possible way of having her under his watch without too much trouble except the need to spend time with her and having his jobs being inconvenient.

"What is the payment for this," Han asked cautiously. The idea is appealing, to have someone pay him for a job that he is wasting resources on for a suspicion that he had of someone that he had a one night stand with.

"Double of whomever that has hired you to keep her under observation, in return, we want you to keep Miss Higurashi accompany for as long as it takes, unless of course you're going to reveal to us of your client's name," Shippo added on. His assistant came forward to Shippo with a cheque who took it from his assistant with a slight nod.

"How long is the duration of this job," he asked, his mind working on the possibilities of this job, and the possible lost of money from the other potential clients that are higher paying than this current one.

"Indefinitely," and then the possible minimum amount of lost on his end just taking up this time consuming job, which might end up being fruitless as well.

"You're telling me to cancel out on all my possible clients just to take up this one job," Han stated the obvious, his lower jaw slackened as he turned his face slightly to the side, rubbing it with a hand to hide his smile that is etched upon his face.

"Yes," Shippo added with a smile at Han, finding the current situation most amusing at the moment.

"With all due respect Mr. Gitsune, but I earn far more than babysitting Miss Higurashi," Han said as he entwined his fingers together, leaning upon the table as he looked straight into Shippo's eyes.

"Yes, we are well aware of that, however I'm sure that there are various Country and States that are particularly looking for you, unless you would like that to be announced, you might want to take up on our deal," Shippo stated simply as thought they were talking about the weather.

Han's mind whirled at the threat and blackmail that was thrown at him at the moment. There is always the easy way out, killing those that are present here, and then just merely disappearing as easily like that off the radar until someone else hunts him down. Which to say is rather rare. Han smiled as he leaned back, his entwined hand clenched the other tightly as his the vein in his jaw popped for a few moment, before he relaxes it as though making up his mind on what to do.

"So Mr. Han, for your sake, I rather you agree to this amicably, if I would hate to see you ruin the chance of getting just as much value for just 'babysitting' Miss Higurashi as you had put it so kindly," Shippo continued as he observed the other in a bored manner.

"I would have to regretfully decline Mr. Gitsune," Han said as he made quick to grab his two guns and fired his rounds accurately at those that are present, including his client.

He did not take kindly to being threatened or blackmailed. With the few people present here it will be easy to get rid of them. However what had him wide eyed was how unharmed they all are, and rather casually standing around as though nothing had happened. He sneered and finished his rounds at the moving targets, predicting of their possible movements.

"Really Mr. Han, time is precious, and it will be so much easier if you were to be more...accommodating," Shippo sighed as he turned around whilst a few of his men all but practically surrounding Han in short time and have weapons aimed at him, ready to cut him up in the most delicate of places.

There was always a charm to doing things proper as Han ducked and maneuvered his body to get out of their human barricade. The two hand daggers were finally out of their handles and in his hands as he danced with it in attempt to cut and slice them. Cutting them is easy, but slicing them up enough to kill them, was rather impossible. The workout was something that he had not experienced after such a long while that got his adrenaline pumping, as compared to when Shippo Gitsune suddenly jumped in and took the 'fight' into his own hands, before getting him into a choke hold enough to immobilize the assassin.

"You are relentless Mr. Han, something I'm most intrigued at the moment, however I hope you are just as good in undertaking the job as your 99% success rate," Shippo told the other without sounding out of breath or the least bit tired with their more recent vigorous exercise.

"Yes I do know of Frank Moses, and your temporal truce then that extends until now even, ever since the case of Dr. Edward Bailey on Operation Nightshade," Shippo mentioned it thoughtfully as he let go after a long while when Han had stopped moving.

It was fair enough to say that he was overpowered, like a child again in his training when he easily lost to his master and teacher. Now, the feeling and situation is very much similar. He coughed, choking a little as he rubbed his neck, eyes narrowed into a deathly glare as he growled at the said 'client' from under his bangs that covered his bangs.

"Of course there is a lot more that we know Mr. Han, though would you be interested in coming to a deal with us?" he asked curtly in a more business like manner.

"…And where do I sign," he managed, knowing already that anything else he had to question or say was going to be useless and all not in his favor.

"Wonderful, we have it drawn up already, all that you would need to do is to sign it," he said as the assistant placed the said document of their deal on the table before of the other as Han angrily took grab the back of the seat before sitting on it.

Han read through the words that are printed on it as he flipped through it angrily, his anger slowly building up with each word that he is registering. The agreement itself is a ticking time bomb, and landmine to which he had no control of no matter what. He threw the document across the table, glaring at the other.

"I'm not signing that trap," he said in a low growl, already feeling the others taking a step nearer to him in an attempt to intimidate. And much he hate to admit it, but they are all on par with his own skills, if not better.

"I'm afraid Mr. Han, if you do not sign it, we cannot let you walk out of here," Shippo's assistant reply as the said 'client' took another sip of his coffee, his attention to the document folder in his hand as he signed over it.

"Though of course, there is this alternative," Shippo said who at the gesture of his hand, another person from behind of Han placed a sleek black designed on the table. Han picked the item up and looked at it with mild interest as opposed to what he wanted to feel.

"This is a new device created to shoot not just electricity of any amount through your body, and the possibility of killing yourself, but it too can explode with the right command. And the explosive power of this is rather…interesting," the assistant continued to speak as Han glared at him now.

"You want me to wear an electric collar that explode," he rephrased.

"Yes, basically, if that is what you would wish for as oppose to not signing the agreement," Shippo said in a flippant manner, his hand waving off the issue like it was nothing.

"And I want to not leave any paper trail behind or wear that collar like a dog," Han scoffed with poison in his tone.

"Well you know your options Mr. Han, it is very limited in choice, I would chose the signing of the paper if I were you, to avoid the possible mess," his assistant said with a grimace in distaste at the later part of what he said.

"Fine, I'll sign your agreement with addition of changes to be made to this contract. I'll only keep to protecting Miss Higurashi for 3 months, and after that this agreement and all related to it will be burnt to ashes," Han said, laying down his own terms.

"Also I chose who I am to work with or anyone else working with me, and it is my choice on how I see best fit to protect Miss Higurashi," though the last part was mainly something that he could see working in his favor should he be needing it.

"Those could be added, though I will not agree to anything less than a year of contract with us, and just to be sure, there will be eyes on you 24/7 watching your every movement by one of my men," Shippo added, as his assistant made indication that he was taking those new points into acknowledgement.

"If that is all, then do have a cup of coffee with me whilst the new contract is drawn up, before you begin work today," Shippo added not giving the other time to agree or disagree to the new terms that they have both added.

Han clenched his jaw in annoyance of what the other had done, and took the cup of freshly poured coffee by the assistant who disappeared shortly into the office to no doubt re-amend the contract of agreement.

"I can't begin immediately,"

"If you are planning to give us the excuse of your possible clients, we know for a fact that you've not accepted any and your list is cleared for the moment," the assistant replied again on behalf of Shippo.

He took a intake breath again jaw locked as Han turned his head to the side refusing to roll his eyes as he rub his lower jaw again in frustration. It was an invasion of privacy, his privacy that he had kept secret and well under profile even from his own assistant. He liked it private and personal, but his 'client' at the moment is being very much so difficult and even more so, commanding him to which he had grown out of habit and finding it most hateful.
